Tonight, the Winter Triangle will be visible in the sky (Sky & Telescope). Sirius is the bottom star of the Winter Triangle and can be seen in the South (Sky & Telescope). The other two stars that make up the Winter Triangle are Betelgeuse and Procyon (Sky & Telescope). Betelgeuse is to the upper right of Sirius and Procyon is located to the upper left of Sirius (Sky & Telescope).

Sunday, March 10th 2024

Daylight saving time begins at 2 A.M. (Sky & Telescope). Don’t forget to turn your clocks ahead one hour before bed Saturday night (Sky & Telescope).

The New Moon also takes place early Sunday morning at 5:00 A.M. EDT (Sky & Telescope). Remember, the New Moon is not visible to the naked eye.

Wednesday, March 13th 2024

Tonight you will be able to spot the Moon near Jupiter in the West (NASA). Be sure to look after sunset (NASA). Binoculars will help you spot them (NASA).

Thursday, March 14th 2024

The crescent Moon is visible tonight moving through the Pleiades star cluster, also known as the Seven Sisters (NASA). Use binoculars in order to spot these stars (NASA).
