Jackson’s story: Jackson returned to K9 Spirit Organization after many years in a home following the loss of his person. He does great with other dogs and even cats and is crate- and potty-trained. Since Jackson was used to being with his human most of the day, he would do best in a home where someone is there much of the time. He needs to get to know people before he will trust them, so needs a home where he can be left alone to decompress before he can relax, warm up and show his loyal, affectionate side. Jackson’s energy level is low. He doesn’t need hikes or hours of play – he doesn’t care about toys, but will play with other dogs. But he doesn’t need other animals to keep him company. He would not do well in a home with children.
