Archbishop Elpidophoros Visits Cathedral of the Madeleine in Utah

His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America began his first pastoral visit to Salt Lake City, Utah on July 20, 2021. Following his arrival and welcome by members of the Greek American community, the Archbishop visited the Roman Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City. He was welcomed warmly by the Most Reverend Oscar A. Solis, Bishop of the Diocese of Salt Lake City who gave the His Eminence a tour of the Cathedral of the Madeleine. Following, Archbishop Elpidophoros spoke at a reception with members of the Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable and presented Bishop Solis with a cross of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America as sign of mutual respect and thanksgiving.
