Expanding the Orion Correlation Theory (OCT) By Larry Pahl Director of the American Institute of Pyramid Research www.greatpyramid.org September, 2019 Abstract. This paper expands the Orion Correlation Theory, the decades old theory of Rober Bauval, in which he related the 3 major pyramids in Giza with the three belt stars of the constellation Orion, following the ancient Egyptian dictum, “As above, so below.” In the form of a travelogue narrative, the author shows that all the major stars making up the constellation of Orion have a corresponding locus on Egyptian soil, one to which the paper attributes ancient Egyptian intent. Chapter 10 Orion’s shoulder Chapter 11 Meissa, the head of Orion Chapter 12 The rod of judgment Preface I went to Egypt in March and April of 2019 to work on two research projects. The first was a study of the Trial Passages, 100 years east of the Great Pyramid of Giza. The research I did on those passages was shared in the presentation I made at ARCE, the American Research Center in Egypt, http://arce.org, on April 12 in Alexandria, VA. Dr. Mark Lehner, one of the most widely recognized scholars in the world on Giza, came to my session, and he went out of his way to tell me he thought it was worthwhile. I felt that was an affirmation of my first research project of 2019. This book represents the output of my second research project, the extension of Robert Bauval’s Orion Correlation Theory (OCT) into a book I am writing, ENOCH: The Egyptian New Orion Connection Hypothesis. I have always liked the lore surrounding the constellation Orion, so much so that I gave that name to my second son.  So many ancient - and modern! - groups have looked to Orion for mystery, guidance, and even worship. Hopi settlements are to this day at spots on Arizona soil that correlate with Orion stars, brought down to earth. The Great Pyramid has a shaft that points directly at Orion, and the center of Egyptian religious belief deals with the resurrection of Osiris, who is closely associated with Orion, if they are not indeed one and the same. The major Japanese, Chinese, and Mexican pyramids are laid out like the stars that make up the belt of Orion, the "mighty hunter." So on my fourth trip to Egypt, in March and April of 2019, I set out with the goal of trying to chase down the places on Egyptian soil that would correspond with the stars which make up the constellation Orion.  I was not the first to believe in this connection of heaven and earth.   Bauval proposed the idea in 1994 in the book The Orion Mystery, that the pyramids of Egypt were laid out as a reflection - a map - of the stars of Orion, especially the 3 noticeable belt stars. Bauval noticed that the small star of the 3 Orion stars, Mintaka, was offset from the other two, just as the pyramid of Menkaure, the smallest of the 3 Giza giants, is offset from the pyramids of Khufu and Khafre. It is widely recognized that the ancient Egyptians believed "as above, so below" so Bauval's idea made sense and gained wide attention. While the idea was not accepted by mainstream archaeologists and Egyptologists, there have been a number of individual scholars who have affirmed the theory, and it has generated a large and dedicated cult following from among those who are often identified as "alternative" theorists.  Bauval has at times joined forces with Graham Hancock, another widely followed alternative researcher and both continue to publish bestselling books which affirm the Orion Correlation Theory (OCT), the idea that the belt stars of Orion are represented in Egypt by the three great pyramids of Giza. They have tried to promote the idea that the Giza pyramids marked with unerring precision the date of their creation, 10,500 BC. In Bauval's most recent defense of the theory, in an appendix to a book co-authored with geologist Robert Schoch, Origins of the Sphinx, he backs off a bit from this precise dating, by saying "there will always be a level of uncertainty" partly based on "the accuracy of the method used by the ancients" and "whether the measurements were made exactly at meridian passage." These qualifications, along with criticism he has received, diminish his attempt to set a precise date on when the blueprints for the Giza pyramids were drawn up.  The traditional date that Egyptologists ascribe to the design and building of the Giza pyramids is the 4th Egyptian dynasty, about 2500 BC. Bauval and Hancock, along with many alternative researchers have been ambitious in fighting that date and trying to extend the age of the Giza pyramids and the Sphinx back thousands of years. They do this because it is their contention that the Egyptians were not capable of building the pyramids, so they must have been built by a now-destroyed ancient technically advanced civilization. They say that in 10,500 BC, the Orion Belt stars and the Milky Way were perfectly reflected in Egypt by the 3 Giza Pyramids and the Nile, the earthly Milky Way. But there are also indications of a 2500 BC connection between Orion and Egypt in that the southern air shaft of the King's Chamber in the Great Pyramid pointed directly at the belt stars of Orion in 2500 BC.  So take your pick, Bauval and the alternative theorists and their distant date of 10,500 BC, or the traditional dating of the pyramids in Egypt's 4th Dynasty at about 2500 BC.  The two camps almost came together in 1997.  Here's the story. The major evidence Egyptologists offer for a 4th Dynasty building is the appearance of the name of Pharaoh Khufu in the relieving chambers above the King's Chamber in the Great Pyramid. Bauval and Hancock had always said those markings were forged, because they thought the pyramids were much older than Khufu. Then Dr. Zahi Hawass, the head of Egyptian Antiquities, invited them, along with alternative researcher John Anthony West to view the markings in person in the highly protected relieving chambers, which are off limits to the public.  After these three visited the relieving chambers, they changed their tune.  They agreed with Hawass that the markings in the relieving chambers, which included Khufu's name, seemed authentic. Bauval and Hancock then adjusted their theories. OK, they said, it was possible that the pyramids were built about 2500 BC., they conceded, but they were designed, put into "blueprint", at 10,500 BC.  The departed high tech civilization, whatever it was, had authored the plans for the pyramids. Instead of allowing that the Egyptians had the intelligence and technical skill to design the pyramids, they were opting for someone unseen and unknown. Convenient for Bauval and Hancock, but insulting to Egyptian ingenuity. So leaving aside the question of exactly when the pyramids were designed and built, let's head toward our essential quest in this little work... do some of the Egyptian pyramids reflect, on the soil, the actual stars that make up the constellation Orion? So let's cut to the chase. We wonder how Robert Bauval, Graham Hancock, and other alternative researchers, can call Bauval's theory the "Orion Correlation Theory" when really it is the "Belt Correlation Theory." Bauval has been content for decades to leave unexplored the location on Egyptian soil of the other stars of Orion - those other than his belt stars correlated to Giza. In his initial formulation of the theory, he was trying to extend the theory to include pyramids outside the three Giza giants, but received pushback from critics, so retreated to the narrow connection of the 3 Giza giants with the 3 belt stars of Orion. In beginning a new theory, Bauval probably avoided a more grandiose initial theory to keep the battlefield with traditionalist opponents more tame. In sticking with the three Giza giants he could localize the fight. But now that this theory has gained wide acceptance (just not among Egyptologists!) it is time to press beyond Giza. If this is truly an "Orion Correlation" then Orion needs to be correlated to something more than a belt!  There are other pyramids in Egypt just as there are other stars that make up Orion. No one is defined by just... their belt!  What we want to know about others are their thoughts, their dreams, their fears, their possessions, their ... life!  If we are going to correlate Orion, we need more than his belt. So as we take on this challenge, we are choosing to NOT use the name "Orion Correlation Theory" for our work, even though ours is much more of an "Orion Correlation" than Bauval's belt theory. The name we are giving our work is "The Egyptian New Orion Connection Hypothesis."  For short, we will use the acronym ENOCH, for reasons which will be explained. So let the journey begin! Introduction This is an image taken from Google Earth of Lower Egypt, superimposed with lines connecting pyramids, forming the shape of Orion, with the 3 Giza giants at his belt. Facing up on this map image is South and facing down is North. This is obviously contrary to modern Western custom, but it is the way Egyptians viewed the world around them. The ancient Egyptians believed "as above so below." Stars in the sky making up the constellation Orion appear as pyramids on the earth, in the land of Egypt. We hope as you take the journey with us, that here "below" you find the "above." 1. Let the journey guide My journey to find on Egyptian soil the stars of Orion, the brilliant constellation whose name I gave my second son, started with the notion that I would be searching for ancient pyramids.  Robert Bauval found the 3 belt stars of the heavenly constellation on the earthy soil of Giza, so why shouldn't I be able to find some more? And I did find ancient pyramids, just as I expected, linked with the stars of Orion. My marching orders were something like this: OK, Robert Bauval has fought for decades to try to prove that the 3 big Giza pyramids are the earthly reflection of the 3 notable stars in Orion's belt, Mintaka, Al Nilam and Al Nitak.  He has been fairly successful at that.  Independent thinkers, alternative researchers, New Agers, and some scientists have given Bauval credibility and widespread acceptance. But. When did anybody ever get defined by their belt?  Wow, did you see Madonna’s belt at the Grammies?   Let's be real: nobody would want to be known simply by their belt.  Let’s move on! What about the shoulders of Orion?  What pyramid is that?  What about his head? What pyramid is that?  What about his feet? What pyramid is that?  So these were my marching orders.  Find the other Egyptian pyramids that correspond to the stars in the constellation Orion. But when I started marching to these orders, they led me to some things I had not been looking for. Because some of the star-chasing led to no pyramids on the corresponding part of the Egyptian soil.  But I found other things. But that is getting ahead of the story. It was a help to me that I had an expert friend, an experienced navigator, who had lived for decades in Giza and not only knew the locals, but also had various associations with some of the "big shots" like Dr. Zahi Hawass, Dr. Mark Lehner, Robert Bauval, and several key people in Egyptian Antiquities. Since Orion is sometimes referred to as "the mighty hunter" let me just refer to my friend, whose identity I will not reveal, as "Mr. Hunter."  Mr. Hunter assured me that there ARE pyramids in the spots where it seems like there are not.  He said they were "40 meters down." And that might well be. But there was no quick way I was going to get a permit from Egyptian Antiquities to dig those pyramids up, so for me, to repeat, there are (apparently!) no pyramids in some of the places where the stars of Orion say there should be. Did I just say "where the stars of Orion say there should be?" So you might ask me, calmly and deliberately, like a wise counselor who is very skeptical of what his patient is saying, but not revealing that skepticism, "So, you've been talking to Orion?"  There, you asked, calmly and dispassionately, like you were inquiring about the weather. To which I respond, "Well, actually, it's more like Orion has been speaking to me." You try not to raise your eyebrow.  You try to act nonchalant. You calm yourself and respond, "Interesting. And what has he been saying?"  First let me remind you that I have a son named Orion. I could weasel out of this conversation by telling you something my son said to me recently through our social media exchanges. But I am not trying to hide anything.  If I want affirmation of my quest, I know I can't be playing games and deceiving myself. You are serious with your question, so I know honesty is the best policy.  I want to be real, authentic. What was, and as you will find out, what IS Orion saying to me – and us? 2. Orion has earthly homes other than Egypt Like a lot of people who read about the Great Pyramid, I know that one of its air shafts points toward Orion. Though some experts have tried to deny, downplay or dismiss that idea, there are enough other experts who affirm it, that the idea is not going away. It just makes sense that the ancient Egyptians, understanding the intimate connection of heaven and earth, would use pyramids to point to stars. (See Figure 2-1). Figure 2-1 The Great Pyramid is a repository of all kinds of mathematical, geometric, religious, prophetic and symbolic revelations.  Its dimensions make plain that it is a scale model of the northern hemisphere, and it sits in Giza at the exact center of the earth's landmass. (See Figure 2-2) Figure 2-2 It is not the place of this little work to expound on the mysteries of the only wonder of the ancient world still in existence. That would fill volumes, because the Great Pyramid is a voluminous treasure of revelation. The scores of alternative researchers, Cayce fanatics, adventurers and others trying to find secret rooms and halls of record are forgetting to mine the meaning of the plainly revealed symbolism of the Great Pyramid’s chambers and passageways. We will take a closer look into those in other videos, books and posts. In this little work what is of concern of these many esoteric symbolisms, is the connection with the Great Pyramid, and the other pyramids, with the constellation of Orion. The air shaft running out from the southern wall of the King's Chamber points directly to the fabled ancient constellation known around the world and from ancient times as Orion. Below is an artist's conception of what Orion looks like as sketched out by the stars that make up his constellation. While representations differ somewhat, there is a remarkable similarity of this pose among groups across time and geography. (See Figure 2-3) Figure 2-3 This pose of Orion, about to strike his enemy with an upraised club, is the same pose that many pharaohs have left inscribed on their monuments throughout Egypt.  Here is a listing of some of the pharaohs who are found with inscriptions in this pose or one very similar to it: Narmer Den Sekhemkhet Sneferu Khufu Sahure Neuserre Pepi Amenemhet III Thusmosis III Thutmosis IV Nefertiti Ramses II Ptolemy VIII Ptolemy XII and even the god Horus This pose taken by these pharaohs is obviously modeled after the pose depicted in the constellation of Orion.  As an example, the famous ceremonial engraving known as the Narmer Palette, from the First Dynasty pharaoh who was the first to unite Upper and Lower Egypt, shows the pharaoh conquering his enemies. (See Figure 2-4) Figure 2-4 This pose is known by Egyptologists as the "smiting". Here I am mimicking the pose of King Ptolemy VIII smiting his enemies before the god Horus, depicted on his temple at Edfu. (See Figure 2-5) Figure 2-5 This image of the Pharaoh smiting his enemies is obviously one deeply rooted in the Egyptian psyche. It is connected to the most widely believed Egyptian myth, involving Osiris (Orion) defeating all his enemies (with the help of his son Horus) and gaining resurrection and eternal life as a result. The Great Pyramid southern shaft from the King's Chamber points to this image in the heavens, drawn by the stars making up the constellation Orion.  Robert Grant and Alan Green, two polymaths who have done extensive study of the Great Pyramid, have found a connection between DaVinci's famous Vitruvian man and the Great Pyramid.  It is known that DaVinci drew this model human physique to compare its proportions to the larger universe in which humankind dwells. Here is what Robert Grant has shared publicly on his Instagram account about the relationship of DaVinci's man and the Great Pyramid. (See Figure 2-6) Figure 2-6 Grant's work shows there is a relationship between the ideal man and the message of the Great Pyramid. Every place where DaVinci drew a horizontal on his ideal man, there is a passage feature in the Great Pyramid, except for the top ones, which leads Grant to believe that DaVinci's famous man is a prophecy that the uppermost chambers in the Great Pyramid - now hidden - will be discovered! To the ancient Egyptians the Pharaoh is the "ideal man." So placing the ideal man, the Pharaoh, in his famous "smiting" pose inside the passages of the Great Pyramid looks like that pictured in Figure 2-7. Figure 2-7 The pharaoh's likeness matches the passages of the Pyramid and their meaning. His genitals are located in the position of the subterranean chamber, which could indicate the lower nature, subject to the evil influences that could come from the netherworld, but his left hand is grasping the descending passage like it was a staff, reminiscent of the staff of Moses becoming a serpent in pharaoh's court, which became a staff when he picked it up.  The Pharaoh has victory over the lower nature and its evil influences through the balance and mastery he has achieved, his victory over the forces of chaos, the Egyptian concept of "maat."  His heart is at the place of the Pyramid's Queen's Chamber and his brain is the King's Chamber and its overhead relieving compartments, further evidence of the balance he has achieved.  He left bicep, the glory of a  fit man, anxious to show his strength, is coincident with the Pyramid's glorious display of its muscle, the marvelous Grand Gallery, the largest stone corbeling of any building in the world holding a large amount of weight. His weapon, raised and ready to strike, is outside the Pyramid, in the open sky, showing the Pharaoh can call on heavenly powers, outside the earthly realm, symbolized by the Pyramid's modeling of the dimensions of the planet. Ancient Egyptians believed that the Pharaoh, after enduring ordeals on his journey to the afterlife, would become an Osiris (Orion), to live on as a god in eternity. So Orion - using the figure of him defined by the stars that make up his constellation, appears in the Great Pyramid, aligned to its passageways as shown here: Just as there were a variety of connections between the ideal Pharaoh and the passages of the Great Pyramid, these passages also share connections with the names of the stars that make up the constellation Orion. Meissa is the star in Orion's head, and it is almost exactly at the center point of the gable over the King's Chamber relieving chambers. This creates a strong correlation between one of the most important parts of the Great Pyramid, it's incredible granite King's Chamber, and the mind of Orion, in a sense, the mind of God. The gigantic star Betelgeuse, one of the largest in the sky, and the brightest star in the constellation Orion, is at his shoulder, symbolizing his ability to bear strong burdens and carry out incredible tasks.  Figure 2-8 This star is situated right on the southern air shaft coming out of the Queen's Chamber.  This air shaft points to the star Sirius, so pivotal in Egyptian theology, the brightest star visible from earth. For ancient Egyptians Sirius was unrivaled as the most important star in the sky, a foundation to their entire religious system. Most Egyptian "gods" were connected to the star, and the Egyptian calendar was based on its heliacal rising just before the annual flooding of the Nile. Secret sacred knowledge is associated with the meaning of Sirius. Thus Orion bears the burden of understanding secrets and revelations of great gravity.  The southern air shaft from the King's Chamber points to Orion's right hand, holding his club.  The stars there are associated on the ground with the holy pyramid site in Sakkara. Pyramid building began in the world at Sakkara, with the Step Pyramid of Pharaoh Djoser. Orion's burden of understanding deep secrets, mentioned with Sirius, is also indicated here because of the secrets that are part of the Sakkara pyramids.  The star at Orion's left foot, Rigel, is near the junction where the Well Shaft joins with the descending passage, just before it joins the Subterranean Chamber.  The star Saiph is located at the dead end at the end of the Subterranean passage. Both of these connections relate to Orion's victories in the netherworld, his victory over the demonic legions on his way to his victory of triumph over all his enemies and his attainment of eternal life, to dwell forever among the stars. It is often assumed since Rigel is the left foot of Orion, that Saiph is the right foot, since it is across from Rigel. But the meaning of the star Saiph is "sword", so this seems to indicate that it is the tip of Orion's sword.  Being located at the dead end of the Subterranean passage this connection seems to indicate that Orion's major victory was his defeat of death itself. And since the King's Chamber north air shaft points toward the Dragon constellation, and goes through stars making up the defeated lion, held up as prize, we have the connection indicating that Orion has defeated all the demonic forces of the dragon, the serpent, Satan and his legions. But here's the thing. We have come all this way in a section entitled, "Egypt is not the only earthly home of Orion," and we have not placed Orion anywhere other than at Giza and in the Great Pyramid.  But there are pyramid and settlement groupings all over the world paying tribute to Orion.  For instance in China, Mexico, Japan, and the US, in Arizona. These areas all follow the pattern we will show in Egypt.  There is a studied, intelligent, ambitious attempt to replicate the stars of Orion as they appear in the heavens, on places here on earth. So the Orion Correlation is not unique to Egypt!   For instance, here is a Google Map view of Hopi settlements in Arizona.  As you can see, the Hopi plainly consciously chose the physical location of their settlements based on the pattern of stars in the constellation Orion. (See Figure 2-9) Figure 2-9 Most archaeologists would not be willing to acknowledge the pattern of settlements as a conscious effort among the Hopi to replicate Orion on Arizona soil, but the similarity of the layout of settlements and stars seems beyond coincidence. Add to this the Hopi interest in the constellation Orion itself. And consider that the 3 star/3 pyramid alignment seen at Giza in Bauval's OCT, is also seen in China, as seen in the following Google Earth image with diagonals drawn to highlight the pyramids. (See Figure 2-10) Figure 2-10 The Orion belt alignment is also seen in Mexico, at Teotihuacan with the alignment of the Pyramid of the Moon, the Pyramid of the Sun, and the Temple of the Feathered Serpent. (See Figure 2-11) Worldwide, among various ancient cultures, Orion plays a vital place in reverence, myth and adoration. He is associated with creation, the origin of the human race, the god Osiris, and the end of the age. The Egyptians believed that Osiris/Orion would return from Orion one day.  And that is a belief held not only by the ancient Egyptians, but many cultures in antiquity believed that Orion will return one day. There must be powerful connections for so many ancient cultures to be focused on Orion, the The Orion belt alignment is also seen in Mexico, at Teotihuacan with the alignment of the Pyramid of the Moon, the Pyramid of the Sun, and the Temple of the Feathered Serpent: of the mighty hunter, visible in the sky from everywhere on earth at one time or another.   Figure 2-11 So let me now share what I found as I searched out the place of Orion on Egyptian soil. This is the pursuit of ENOCH, the Egyptian New Orion Connection Hypothesis. As was said above, this journey took me to places where there were pyramids - and where there weren't... 3. Where did this come from? One thing that keeps Egyptologists from accepting the idea of a correlation between Egyptian pyramids and stars from the constellation Orion, is that there would have to have been a master plan that a group of Pharaohs from several different dynasties were adhering to. Experts believed these pyramids were just large tombs that the pharaohs built to promote their own glory, acting selfishly in competition with the pharaohs before and after them, the whole enterprise being one built on the raw and ancient storyline of human pride and vainglory. My pyramid is bigger than your pyramid. But Robert Bauval asked why Khufu, the first to build on the Giza plateau, would not take the prime spot, where Khafre would later build. Bauval is an engineer and he questioned why Khufu would take such a risk to put a structure of such size and weight so close to the edge of the Giza bedrock. He was risking failure and embarrassment.  No one had built such a large structure in the history of the world (and wouldn't for thousands of years!) so there was no guarantee the natural bedrock close to its edge would not crack and buckle from the tremendous stress to be placed on it. It didn't make sense. Unless Khufu was humbling himself to a plan larger than himself. If he was motivated only by his own ambition, he would have built in the center of the plateau, not on its edge. Egyptologists have never really responded to the challenge of answering this coordinated plan. They refuse to see it, acknowledge it, except, the few times they might pay a faint lip service to it, by calling it "coincidence." But let's not just point the finger at the Egyptologists and archaeologists who are so quick to turn away from any substantive inquiry here... what about the alternative researchers themselves? What about Graham Hancock, Robert Bauval and the others? What have they given us here? How do they explain this obvious coordination, with Orion displayed on the ground in Egypt? The following picture has a Google Earth image of lower Egypt, with south at the top. Not all of the places with a dot have pyramids, because the dots were just placed where stars from Orion would align.  But at least 10 of these dots are indeed pyramids! Let me say that again, so it registers for you... 10 of these dots have pyramids!!! Others can call it coincidence, but it is our very strong hypothesis that this was a coordinated attempt to draw Orion on Egyptian soil with pyramids! (See Figure 3-1) Figure 3-1 There may be other people that have seen this, I don't know.  But I have not been able to find what I just showed you, other than from myself.  Notice, I am not overstating my claim.  I acknowledge, "other people may have seen this." I can't know everything that is going on around the world. But this is incredible. How do the alternative researchers explain this pyramid coordination? It seems to me this is the conjecture that they use: "Look at this correlation! It is evidence of obvious planning!  Why won't the Egyptologists acknowledge it? It is obviously following a larger master plan.  We believe the planning goes back to 10,000 BC to a former technically advanced civilization that we don't see anymore, that succumbed to some major catastrophe. And we don't know anything about it..." There you have it. That's it then. But this just leaves us in about the same place as we are left by the Egyptologists... we have no idea who did this or why.  Okay, they did it a long time ago.  Okay, they were probably pretty smart and technically advanced.  But we don't know who they were, how many of them there were, where their manufacturing plants were, what their theological and esoteric beliefs were, if they played sports, manufactured TVs, split the atom, nor do we know why in the world they cared about Orion. We think there is a more satisfying answer.  The true and historical answer.  It's one of the reasons we called our hypothesis ENOCH.  Because we think the explanation for the Orion Connection in Egypt is that it was designed by one man, Enoch.   Enoch was highly intelligent, respected by his peers, the father of metrology, the science of measuring (likely the word "inch" comes from his name, since anciently vowels were often not used, thus Enoch and inch would both be "nch"), and the father of writing. He was involved in the naming of many stars and the constellations that they were grouped into.  The Egyptian god Thoth (the Greek Hermes) is said to be the one who gave the gift of writing.  I think many modern enlightened humans would agree that Thoth is not really a god.  None of the Egyptian gods are really gods.  They are more like collective myths.  But myths must have a source. They must have an origin somewhere.  Myths can often be explained.  Where did the myth of Thoth come from? The work of Enoch had achieved such a legendary status in later generations, even when the specific details of his humanity had been forgotten, that by the time of the Egyptian civilization it coalesced into the mythical figure of Thoth.  The attributions given to Thoth - his wisdom, his skill with numbers, his invention of writing - are they very gifts that the man Enoch possessed in the 7th generation of human beings that existed before the flood.  Ancient sources, written and oral, treat Enoch as a real man with a gargantuan treasure chest of knowledge and wisdom that he was burdened to share with his generation, but especially with the human race in the future. He wanted to encode the advanced science under his command in geometry, geography, mathematics and measure, to be placed in a pillar for the benefit of future generations.  As one in intimate communication with the Alpha and Omega - the Creator - he also wanted to  enlighten those who would search to find it, and warn them of coming catastrophe, such as the Flood which brought to an end the high technology of his generation.  This is an overview in broad strokes, to be sure, but even in the brief summary mentioned here, we are offering more in the way of explanation than we get from the Egyptologists or the alternative researchers. More than the Egyptologists because they give nothing.  They don't see a unified plan of pyramids along the Nile in Egypt.  And more than the alternative authors because they can't really say who the people are that gave us the unified plan and thus they can't really place it in a proper intellectual and cultural context. Thus they are in no position to really unlock the meaning of the unified plan, even though they keep their reading public on the edge, as if they are about to discover or unveil it. We are not limited in that way.  The highly spiritual, intelligent, learned patriarch Enoch was involved in making plans to bring the wisdom of a former time, a time of greater technology and science, to the world which he knew was going to arise on the other side of a devastating flood.  This flood would wipe out the technological advances, and the advanced math, geometry and geographic knowledge of the world in which Enoch lived. And here is another very powerful argument for attributing the unified plan of pyramids in Egypt forming the constellation Orion: The near-unanimous attribution worldwide to the group of stars we now call "Orion" being viewed as a picture of a mighty hunter, ready to return. If there were endless and hopelessly different and contradictory names for stars and constellations at various times in history (as common sense and evolutionary logic would expect) then there would be no force to the idea that they had a single, aboriginal source.  But the most fastidious historians of the history of astronomy and mythology from different cultures and different time periods in the past witness to the remarkable similarity of star names and groupings among widely different cultures and peoples. One attempting to blunt the force of this argument would have to explain how it is that certain apparently random stars in the sky end up being defined as a certain constellation. Take a look at Figure 3-2. Looking at the pattern of stars in Figure 3-2, different people at different times in history could certainly have nominated it with a variety of images and names. I see a cat chasing a mouse here, but when I look again I see a baseball player running to first base. I could name the three stars close together as Tinker, Evers and Chance, and call the conglomerate Cubby, or they could be Moe, Larry and Curly, and be called The Three Stooges. They could be Proton, Neutron and Electron and called The Trinity, but they might have been called Porthos, Athos and Aramis, and named The Three Musketeers by Alexander Dumas in the 19th Century.  Or how about an hourglass as pictured in Figure 3-3? Figure 3-2 Figure 3-3 has the same set of stars as Figure 3-2..  It does look remarkably like an hourglass, doesn’t it? Why didn’t the ancients see that?  Why don’t we start calling this constellation Hourglass from now on?  Will our name catch on?  Why is it that almost all ancient zodiacs, and ours today, call this set of stars Orion, the mighty hunter? Even the Chinese zodiac, which sometimes has different names and attributions for star groupings, sees these stars as a mighty hunter! Figure 3-3 Whatever explanation is given must be a powerful one.  Because in reasoning from cause to effect, the cause chosen must be sufficient to explain the effect.  The effect is large and widespread. There is a near-unanimous agreement on what the constellations are, across time and civilizations. The explanation offered above has the power of simplicity coupled with that of sufficiency: a specific person named this constellation in the ancient past, and the name and configuration has stayed with the human race ever since that time.  So here is what Enoch came up with, and it has been with the human race ever since. (See Figure 3-4) It is doubtful that anyone would have come up with such a picture without having some preconceived storyboard. Let’s be honest and say there is no way so many different cultures in different places would all look up at these stars and say, “Hey look at that mighty hunter with the raised club, holding a lion skin.”  If a photo of these stars only (Figure 3-2) was shown to 1,000,000 fifth grade students randomly, and if they were asked what this star pattern looked like to them, not one in the million would say they see a man raising a club. Seriously! (Unless they already knew that these are the stars which form Orion...) Figure 3-4 THE GREAT UNANIMITY OF THE BASIC CONSTELLATION NAMES AND PATTERNS IS A POWERFUL EVIDENCE FOR A SINGLE COMMON ORIGIN IN THE ANCIENT PAST FOR THESE PHENOMENA GENERALLY AND ORION SPECIFICALLY.  There is a story in the stars. And the Egyptians wanted to put it on their soil. That is what this book is about. The ancient sage Enoch was responsible for the naming and meaning-infusion of the constellations. This act had the powerful result of having the whole modern world following the names of the constellations he created. Oral and written legends attribute this naming to Hermes Trismegistus and the Egyptian god Thoth.  But many sources, including the Christian kabala claim that Hermes and Thoth were the biblical patriarch Enoch.  The Bible says that Enoch walked with God, and was translated to heaven without dying. He was possessed with storehouses of knowledge and used his intellectual gifts as a servant of God. There are indeed legends attributing to him the designing of the Great Pyramid, authoring the pictures of the Tarot deck, and the naming of the constellations with Adam, the first man. This is as plausible an explanation for the origin and meaning of the constellations as any of the many esoteric and “secret society” attributions. One more thought here. Enoch, who named many of the stars and the constellations, obviously had a close connection to God. He had reasons for drawing Orion in the sky and naming the stars of Orion the way he did.  So part of our quest now, will not just be finding pyramids on Egyptian soil that correlate with the stars of the constellation Orion.  The quest is expanded to consider seriously this question: What did Enoch have in mind when he put a mighty hunter, known now as Orion, in a sky which every inhabitant on earth could see and learn to recognize? The Egyptians spent tireless, thankless hours of labor erecting stone by heavy stone on the desert soil of Egypt, these mighty towers along the Nile, placed in an organized pattern to mimic the mighty hunter Orion in the night sky? Why? Let us continue our pursuit... 4. The Orion star/pyramid map My own interest in this Orion-Pyramid correlation began decades ago when I first learned some of the amazing things that various researchers claimed about the Great Pyramid, the largest of the 3 Giza giants. I was especially attracted to the group of researchers known to Egyptologists and independent researchers alike as "pyramidiots".  This negative term was first used by one not known for his ad hominems, au contraire, Flinders Petrie, the father of Egyptology, is admired almost universally by Egyptologists and alternative researchers alike for his systematic and dispassionate recording of so many of the crown jewels of Egypt, its wealth of sacred pyramids and temples. Yet Petrie coined the term "pyramidiot" for researchers who looked for esoteric and prophetic revelations in the pyramids. Some researchers who are often put in this category are C. Piazzi Smyth, a decorated scientist, once the royal astronomer for Scotland, John Taylor, Adam Rutherford, David Davidson, John and Morton Edgar, E. Raymond Capt, Peter Tompkins, Peter Lemesurier, and Basil Stewart.  What I was attracted to in these writings was the idea that there could be prophetic timelines inside the Great Pyramid. I like to study prophecies, have written a book on prophecy, and am fascinated by the idea that the future can be known by something in the present. While there is a lot of charlatanry to be sure in the ranks of those who claim prophetic gifting, it cannot be denied that there are records of various prophecies eventually coming true.  In other words, the prophecies were correct. Some people believe that among ancient cultures clairvoyance was a widespread gifting. As I studied the works of the "pyramidiots" I was drawn into other perspectives on the pyramids and their purposes, beyond what the Egyptologists allow, namely , that they were tombs built by jealous and vain pharaohs. I believe that the Great Pyramid is a repository of a very wide variety of revelations and mysteries and it is my nature to treat every honest attempt to research the mighty Silent Sage, as I call the Great Pyramid, with respect. Until there is reason not to. The Great Pyramid is said to have been a great water pump that could have helped irrigate Egypt, a power plant that could have supplied Tesla-like power, a resonating structure that can absorb earth tremors and keep the earth protected from seismic disaster. I think it is possible that the Great Pyramid did fulfill each of these purposes, and others.  But let me quickly say that the Great Pyramid is not NOW a power plant, an irrigation pump, or an earthquake prevention mechanism. Its main purpose, one it has always had, is symbolic. The Silent Sage has a message for us if we will listen.  I am sure of that.  So when Robert Bauval first proposed his Orion Correlation Theory, I was on board.  It made so much sense, and seemed hard to refute.  In his own most recent defense of his decades-long theory, in an appendix to a book he co-authored in 2017 with Robert Schoch, Origins of the Sphinx, Bauval latches onto the claim made by two astronomers, Vincenzo Orofino and Paolo Bernardini, in the journal Archaeological Discovery, that his Orion Correlation Theory (OCT) "...could not be falsified."  This is a far cry from saying that the OCT is true, but Bauval seemed to think it was a breakthrough that should lead others to withdraw their opposition.  Since it is these three belt stars of Orion whose correlation to Giza pyramids has been affirmed, let us use them to begin our a journey to the places on Egyptian soil that constitute the Egyptian New Orion Connection Hypothesis. Where are those places? It can be a very complicated operation to set a procedure for taking stars shining in the sky, and plotting them onto places on the earth. It is like the challenge of taking a globe like earth, and attempting to represent it on a flat surface - a map. The sky is not a globe, but it is three dimensional, and the earth where we are to place these stars is spherical, yet, practically, two-dimensional. So just as there are many different projections used to represent a sphere on a flat surface, there are many ways to transcribe the stars ("as above...") onto the earth ("so below.")  I felt that I could take Bauval's star/pyramid alignments as verified, at least as far as they were going to be. Egyptologists have not accepted his work, and they would certainly not accept some reworked version I might come up with, so best to start with Bauval's "belt theory."  He has been defending these correlations for decades, and has received a wide acceptance.  So our ENOCH correlations begin with the three giant pyramids in Egypt, as they align with Orion’s belt. Mintaka is Menkaure's pyramid, Alnilam is Khafre's pyramid and Alnitak is Khufu's pyramid.  Three of the most noticeable stars in the sky correspond to three of the most notable monuments on earth.  This is where we will start...But what procedure do I use to calculate the next place that Orion stars should be placed on earth? In Figure 4-1 is a Google Earth print out of Lower Egypt which I have drawn upon. I circled the “givens”, Bauval’s Giza giants. But I have also circled the other pyramids that we now must locate. How will we determine what procedure to use to pin down the other star/pyramids? I have learned that Egyptian craftsmen in the Old Kingdom were not slaves to a perfect master plan, (though always having one and having respect for it…) but were able to make practical adjustments where needed. The point of taking Orion from the sky and bringing him down to earth was not first and foremost to show their skills in trigonometry, spherical geometry and celestial navigation. They had these skills, and they are shown in many ways even if Egyptologists will not see them. Figure 4-1 But when you are moving millions of tons of stone to place pyramids where stars would find themselves on the ground below, it is enough for me to think that their purpose was to make a practical likeness on earth of what they saw in the sky. I think if you showed most honest fifth-graders, or 50 year-olds the arrangement of Orion’s stars on a star chart, connected by simple lines, they would say what is formed on Egyptian soil by connecting dots on a Google Earth print out is similar. (See Figure 4-1a) Orion above, Orion below. But I was stressed about how to pinpoint the spots on this Egypt-Orion outline where there were not obvious pyramids. How to calculate the exact spot where those pyramids were supposed to be. I was often communicating on What'sApp with my friend Mr. Hunter, the navigator, to try to understand the process of plotting heavenly objects with earthly coordinates, to make the "above" come down to the "below." Mr. Hunter had great confidence that he could plot the points where the Orion stars would go if they were transposed to earth. This is exactly the confidence I needed for the Egyptian Orion New Connection Hypothesis to proceed correctly. At several points in our conversations Mr. Hunter simply gave me the GPS coordinates he had calculated for these points. I kept them for reference. So my current newbie status as a celestial navigator is not adequate to mount a sufficient defense to the onslaught of professional skepticism and criticism that would likely come my way. But then it came to me as sort of an epiphany - I realized that I don't really need to minutely calculate the Egyptian pyramid placement! Because I realized that I have a better authority here in which I could place confidence.  I did not have to become an expert in celestial/earthly cartography, I could leave that process and its technical explanations to someone else. It's not my field of authority.  I was instead going to subject myself to the authority of the ancient calculations of Enoch, or the Egyptian engineer-architects, whoever it was that made the master plan for these pyramids along the Nile.  Somehow they figured out a way to plot heavenly stars onto Egyptian sand, and that was good enough for me. They were the scientists and master-architects, and I am merely the scribe, following the work of their creation. I believe that honest seekers will see that the ancient Egyptian goal of bringing Orion from the heavens and placing him on Egyptian earth has been successful! Is that not the obvious conclusion from an honest consideration of what is in Figure 4-1a? On the left is a print out of Google Earth, marking some actually existing pyramids, and on the right is an actual shot of the sky facing south with computer-aided markings. So the two pictures being compared are actual and accurate maps of earth and sky, without human alteration, simply marked to aid in the comparison. What 5th grader – or 50 year old – would not see a striking resemblance? Figure 4-1a And if someone rises up to protest, "This pyramid is off 200 meters," or "Your proportions are off in this spot," I will simply send them to the Egyptians who placed the monuments where they did.  Egyptian scribes when they wrote hieroglyphs, Egyptian boat builders when they fabricated hulls, Egyptian stone masons when they laid courses of masonry, often made practical decisions that deviated from strict adherence to a "perfect" blueprint.  Perhaps a piece of acacia wood was twisted radically, but used anyway and adjustments made elsewhere. Perhaps a scribe was coming to an end of a line of glyphs and, rather than squeeze his scribal markings, changed their orientation from horizontal to vertical. So even if a pyramid was supposed to go "right here!" but instead is 100 yards away, it was for the purpose of being closer to the Nile, or to be built on higher ground, or to satisfy an alignment to another tomb, or to cause the searcher who would come later to ponder, or for any of a hundred other things.  The point is: Orion is here, as the Egyptians intended. And you will see him...unless you are committed ahead of time to disbelieve a coordinated plan.  To calculate where the places are that “missing” pyramids should be, I simply used proportion and scale – and the coordinates from my friend Mr. Hunter, the master navigator. You can judge as you follow along on this journey how successful that was. A word about Mr. Hunter. He is one of the few people with the ability to draw the displeasure of both the Egyptologists and the alternative theorists.  Zahi Hawass hates him because (long story!) he tried to get Zahi thrown into jail for damaging part of the shoulder of the Sphinx, and Bauval writes very negatively about him in his book Secret Chamber Revisited: The Quest for the Lost Knowledge of Ancient Egypt. Mr. Hunter claims he was with Bauval a number of times while Bauval was in Giza trying to extend his OCT to other pyramids, but Hunter knew the mistakes Bauval was making.  Hunter told me Bauval was looking on the wrong side of the Nile.  This could have something to do with the charge that Bauval mirrored or flipped the belt stars when placing them on Egyptian soil.  Bauval has answered successfully the challenge of Krupp and other detractors on this point, by saying that the alignment will be flipped if you view it from the other side. You could get above Orion, in deeper space, and look "down" at its stars that way, and then come down to earth and look "up" at Orion from there, and you will see the stars reversed.  While this is a legitimate argument, I still think the adversarial barrage he had to face in some way kept Bauval from pressing his theory beyond Orion's belt.  Because I think if he would have, he would come to the alignments we are laying out her with our ENOCH theory. For myself, I can only say that Mr. Hunter has always been friendly to me and willing to help me along where he could.  He and I disagree radically on a number of basic things, such as the age of the pyramids, but that hasn't stopped us from having a fruitful relationship. I don't mind interacting with Egyptologists, alternative theorists or Mr. Hunter, even though they are all at war with each other. We can disagree about many things but we should each be mature enough to at least hear the other side out. I have learned from each group, and accepted and rejected various things they have taught.  This is what everyone one of us must do.  Name calling and trash talking might be appropriate in competitive sports banter, but they do not become those involved in serious pursuit of ancient meaning.  Let's be rational and civil.  I must also say that I do not follow the pattern that I seem to see in so many of these researchers.  When they make their special finding, they then dismiss all other theories.  I don't believe that. I think it is often possible for many different perspectives to be true at the same time.  So I was quite relieved when I realized that I do not have to defend some technical procedure for how to plot the figure of Orion on Egyptian soil, because I simply accepted what the Egyptians did. And it seems to me that what they did, is what anyone of us could do.  Get several pictures of the Orion stars at night at different times, so a simple diagram could be made of the basic orientation of those stars to each other.  Then take a map of Egypt and place the shape of the Orion constellation on that map.  Now simply build a pyramid where each one of those star points is. Each of us might draw Orion onto Egypt differently. See Figure 4-2. Figure 4-2 The Hopi Indians translated the constellation of Orion onto the soil of Arizona on a much different scale than the Egyptians did. See Figure 4.3. It should be obvious by this comparison that there is no “correct” way to draw the stars of Orion onto earthly soil. Figure 4-3 The Egyptians put 8 miles between the stars Betelgeuse and Saiph on Egyptian soil while the Hopis put 100 miles between those two on the soil of Arizona.  Quite a difference of scale.  And what does it matter?  These ancient spiritual people were each trying to point out the same thing: Orion!  What does it matter if you make him big or small?  Either way, the message comes through: We think there is something important about Orion! And so let us return to the way the ancient Egyptians chose to lay out the stars of the constellation Orion onto the soil of Egypt. Beginning with one benchmark taken from Mr. Hunter, the stars of Orion place themselves on Egyptian soil. Mr. Hunter, the navigator, places the Orion star Rigel at the pyramid of Pharaoh Djedefre at Abu Ruwash, as we shall see.  From this anchor, coupled with the Giza connections, there is enough of a start to complete the form of Orion on Egyptian soil. The idea of a master plan for pyramid placement, over the span of several Egyptian dynasties, while rejected out of hand by Egyptologists, does demand an explanation.  If ancient Egyptians completed the mimicking of the constellation Orion on their soil, where did the pre-existing master plan come from? While Egyptologists would scoff at such a question with disbelief, it is a legitimate one. I believe a coordinated plan could have been developed by Enoch, or other ancient source, and then passed down to the pharaohs of Egypt, the way secret societies are known to pass down 8trade secrets over many generations. Since Enoch invented the constellation Orion by naming its stars and associating them together as a unit, and since so many accounts speak of Enoch's desire to communicate his great knowledge to future generations, this does provide one explanation. Given the way that Egyptologists explain the development of the Egyptian dynasties, it does not seem likely that the First Dynasty pharaohs drew up the master plan, and then the pharaohs from the following Old Kingdom dynasties simply followed suit out of respect for the founding dynasty. That dynasty was two humble, weak and obscure. It is possible the plan was drawn up by Imhotep, the talented vizier to Third Dynasty Pharaoh Djoser, since he carried great respect and all the pyramids involved in building Orion onto Egyptian soil are from the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Dynasties. Djoser's step pyramid, designed by Imhotep, was the first stone building on earth, the largest building on earth when it was built, and initiated the Egyptian use of the pyramid form on a grand scale. But why did he pick the constellation Orion, and how did he convince the succeeding pharaohs to fall in line? Given the Egyptian reverence for Thoth, the mythical god whose characteristics were built from legends stemming from the actual man Enoch, an allegiance would already be present for each pharaoh to subjugate his choice of building sites to a larger scheme. However it came about, a master plan is apparent in the way pyramids are placed in Lower Egypt. So we will begin our journey, as we have said, to the pyramids with the relatively well-verified relationship with the belt stars of Orion, the 3 mighty pyramids on the Giza Plateau. 5. Let the journey begin Robert Bauval's Orion Correlation Theory involves the idea not only that the stars that make up Orion's belt in the heavens have been transposed to specific spots on Egyptian soil in Giza, but also that the stars correspond in size and magnitude to their earthly counterparts. To the naked eye, Alnilam and Alnitak are stars that appear about the same size, while Mintaka appears smaller (and offset), just as Khufu and Khafre are about the same size as pyramids, and Menkaure is smaller (and offset.) If Bauval was trying to stick with both of those correlations - size and orientation - in his purported attempt to extend the OCT, then it is easy to see why he gave up. There are many differences in the apparent sizes of the stars that make up the constellation Orion, and not a correspondingly huge difference in the size of the correlated pyramids on Egyptian soil.  And if we consider actual magnitude and size of the stars, and not their apparent size to the naked eye, then it is entirely foolish to pursue this line of inquiry because the ranges of actual sizes of the stars is so much more immense than the range of sizes of the pyramids. It seems plain that the ancient Egyptians did not seem to worry about matching the size of the pyramid with its corresponding star, just its relative location. So the correlation we are pursuing in chasing down Orion on Egyptian soil, is simply the spatial orientation of Orion in the sky brought down proportionately to earth, in whatever way the Egyptians calculated it. Let's start our journey with the stars of Alnitak, Alnilam and Mintaka and their correlation to the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. Avry Wilson and Christopher Ash, in a paper entitled "A New Perspective on the Orion Correlation Theory" say this about the alignment here between stars and pyramids: "Even a cursory examination of any of the many star overlays that have been produced, both in support of Bauval's theory and in opposition to it, immediately reveals one particularly interesting relationship between the star pattern and that of the pyramids: when the stars Al Nitak and Al Nilam are scaled to match the pyramids of Khufu and Khafre, Mintaka shares the same latitude as does the pinnacle of Menkaure's pyramid. This ... is at least a remarkable coincidence, but any argument that it is more than such would seem to introduce further complications."  So perhaps this is what kept Bauval from moving beyond this alignment, his desire to avoid the further complications.  But we don't think extending the theory leads to more complications. We think it moves the theory increasingly out of the realm of "coincidence!" With every star/pyramid correlation beyond the 3 Giza correlations, the charge of "coincidence" becomes increasingly harder to make, almost to the point of absurdity, or, at least, "Really?" So let us initially produce a star/pyramid correlation map to show the number of pyramids we are claiming to have found that align with Orion stars.  The purpose in showing this map, without naming the specific pyramids, is to quickly assess where we are on the "coincidence" scale. See Figure 5-1. But let's add a factor to our "coincidence" scale.  OK, we see how many "hits" we have on the stars of Orion being associated with pyramids, by attention to the map in Figure 5-1. Enough to make it harder to keep claiming "coincidence!"  But what about all the pyramids in this area that are NOT part of the Orion correlation?  Figure 5-1 Because it could just be that there are so many pyramids on the ground in this part of Egypt, that you would be bound to find correlations between pyramids and stars.  For instance, on the left below is a theoretical pyramid layout, in the middle is Orion.  You can see how the picture on the right, that overlays them, finds a perfect correlation of stars with pyramids.  But just about ANY constellation pattern would lead to perfect correlation, as shown with the constellation Leo in the next diagram.  If there are a lot of pyramids that are NOT found in a star pattern, you are in a sense "stacking the deck." Again, any constellation could be found to correlate with pyramids on the ground. See Figure 5-2. Figure 5-2 So how many pyramids in this part of Egypt are basically outside of the Orion stars?  How stacked is the deck of the Egyptian soil?  Basically, there are NO pyramids outside the pattern of Orion drawn on the Egyptian soil, if we look between the Mediterranean Sea on the north, and Dahshur in the south. Dahshur is what we are claiming is the top of Orion's raised club, the southernmost part of the constellation.  Therefore the pyramids south of there, such as at Meidum, are outside the Orion area. The pyramids grouped together at Dahshur, Sakkara and Abusir, are all at places where Orion stars are transposed to Egyptian sand. So with our added factor in working the "coincidence" scale, we are basically saying that all the pyramids between the Mediterranean Sea and Dahshur, basically the whole of Lower Egypt, were placed in areas corresponding to a star in the constellation Orion!  There are no extra or extraneous pyramids. (It must be noted that the “club” stars of Orion correspond with clusters of pyramids in Abusir and Sakkara.) So all these pyramids seem to have been built in accordance with a master plan to place the constellation Orion on the soil of Egypt. As above, so below. Coincidence?  We don't think so. So basically we are done.  This is our evidence that the ENOCH hypothesis is real. There IS an Egyptian Orion Connection. We realize that the correlations shared here will not convince everyone, (we have seen how Bauval has been roughly treated by many!) and that the correlations have not been proven scientifically, because we don't know for sure what methods the Egyptians used to transcribe the heavens onto the earth.  So even though we are now "done" there is more we must share. Because we said at the beginning of this little work that our journey led us to some conclusions we never anticipated. For us to share that we need to now do the tour of the connections we found - and didn't find! Let us now set out to look at each of the places where these pyramids are - and aren't, to see what lessons or messages are there. Let's start with Giza. Alnilam, corresponding to Khafre's pyramid, means "string of pearls" in Arabic. Thus the name for this pyramid, the middle of the three Giza giants, is a name that applies to all three, for these Orion belt stars are like a "string of pearls" that is recognizable to viewers around the world. The same can be said for star Alnitak corresponding with the Great Pyramid, for its Arabic name means "girdle", which is what the belt stars essentially are. They are a girdle, or belt. And Mintaka, the smaller star corresponding to the smallest pyramid on the Giza plateau, Menkaure's, comes from the same Arabic root as Alnitak. So all three pyramids have individual names which place them as part of a larger string. And how appropriate then that these three stars, meant to be together, as indicated by their names, correspond with pyramids that are always thought of together, the Three Giants of Giza.  So stars and pyramids alike here are giving the message of a trinity...three things...yet one!  There is a coordinated plan in the three pyramids, and there is a coordinated plan in all the Orion pyramids... because they form Orion! Thus the place we are beginning ENOCH, on Giza, is giving the same message in miniature that is given by the whole. Giza is a synecdoche (the figure of speech where the part is used to represent the whole). This is an incredible idea, if you really stop to think about it.  We have always been schooled by the Egyptologists to view the pharaohs as ambitious, competing power-thirsty rulers (and of course, in many ways they were.... especially later...).  But if what we are seeing in our ENOCH is correct, there must have been planning, coordination, agreement and even unity between many different pharaohs. Nobody seems to be putting a gun to anybody's head here.  This is voluntary compliance on a selfless scale! Khufu built his pyramid near the edge of the Giza plateau, near where there was no solid foundation of bedrock.  Why didn't he take the high ground which his son Khafre would later take?  He took a huge risk his massive pyramid would buckle from lack of substructure. Menkaure built a smaller pyramid than Khufu and Khafre, knowing that for posterity he would be overshadowed by these larger monuments. Why didn't he build larger... or elsewhere? There is a humility here, matched and confirmed by the spartan emptiness of these monuments.  No gold, no artistic reliefs, no hieroglyphs, no cartouches of kings boasting of their prowess. Nothing!  Except the shape of Orion, and the treasures of math and geometry inside these structures.  Pharaohs humbling themselves to promote a message obviously larger than themselves!  This is unusual not only in Egypt, but in the history of the world!  There seems to be an implicit, if not explicit, worship of the Alpha and Omega, the Creator.  This coordination thesis offers an explanation for the lack of decoration in these pyramids, a phenomena usually left unexplained. So the journey to find Orion on the soil in Egypt has started with baby steps, as we looked at Giza. Bauval has hovered there for decades.  There is a connection between Orion's belt and the Giza giants. So we will next proceed down to Orion's foot, Rigel, to find out what we can about the footing of the Mighty Hunter, and see what this ENOCH connection will show us.  And remember, in heading "down" to Rigel, we will be traveling north. To Egyptians, South is "up" and north is "down," as seen in Figures 5-3 and 5-4. First (Figure 5-3) is the view of Orion standing upright, sketched on a Google Earth image. But the down red arrow actually is heading north from Giza to Abu Ruwash. In Figure 5-4 this is pictured in a way we are more used to looking at in, because North is toward the top of this map. Orion would be upside down if we displayed Egypt with North towards the top as we are used to. But before we "head" down to the foot, let's glean a little more about what we learned here at Giza - about this reverence for the Alpha and Omega... Figure 5-3 Figure 5-4 6. The Alpha and Omega Famous Egyptologist J. H. Breasted after examining the earliest Egyptian government documents, including the Palermo Stone, noted that the authority of the pharaoh appeared almost from nowhere.  He wrote that the documents, "reveal a great and powerful kingdom from the beginning of the dynasties, enjoying ordered government under a highly developed and aggressive state, and exhibiting a high degree of culture and civilization such as we could not have anticipated in this remote age." Egyptologist Ernest Renan wrote, "Egypt at the beginnings appears old, mature...as if the country had never known youth. Its civilization has no infancy, and its arts, no archaic period. The civilization of the Old Kingdom did not begin with infancy. It was already mature." Other writers have remarked about, not the advance of Egypt, as so many view it, but its decline from the time of the Old Kingdom to the New. Andrew Tomas says, "For some reason the workmanship level of jewelry...in ancient Egypt was higher in the earlier periods. Rings, necklaces, earrings, diadems, and crowns of the fifth to twelfth dynasties are more perfectly made and more beautiful that those" of the later dynasties. While it is the view of conservative Egyptologists to insist on a slow and steady development in Egypt from a primitive Stone Age to the development of an advanced culture, nonetheless a case can be made that this long preliminary period doesn't exist strongly in the archaeological record.  There does seem to be evidence to support the idea, so powerful among current alternative theorists, that the Egyptians were the inheritors of a highly advanced previous civilization.  Many of the alternative school point to Atlantis, and some, of course, to aliens. The ENOCH theory, too, looks to a powerful and advanced previous civilization, indeed, the one of which Enoch himself was a part: the antediluvian world, the advanced civilization before the worldwide flood. Because there is so much heat and sometimes little light revealed in fighting over these things, let it quickly and simply be said that there are worldwide legends of a worldwide flood, many among aboriginal cultures that lived nowhere near large bodies of water.   It is just as rational to believe in an advanced culture that existed before a worldwide flood, as it is to believe in an Atlantis that existed before a catastrophe destroyed it, or as it is to believe in some intelligent beings who favored us with a visit and then left.  None of these theories has the high moral ground, and none has a slam-dunk on the historic truth. People get committed to these ideas for all kinds of reasons other than having been convinced by empirical evidence.  Enoch's life and civilization is recorded in ancient writings just as real as those that speak of Atlantis. Both leave tales about advanced civilizations that do not now exist, because they were destroyed by natural catastrophes that many writers view as moral recompense for unbalanced living. The Atlanteans and antediluvians got proud and debauched, and their advanced technology was not able to save them.  So whether these things are fact or fable, there seems to be here a message for our time. If the previous civilization from which Egypt gained its advanced inheritance was that of Enoch, its elements were carried to the Old Kingdom from Enoch through Noah and his son Ham (Khem?), the progenitor of Egypt, and other descendants of Noah such as Abraham, from Mesopotamia, who oral tradition tells us instructed Pharaoh's court about astrological lore. Noah's construction of the huge vessel he built no doubt used many of the advanced features of the previous civilization. He probably carried many of the tools and much of the knowledge that had benefited the antediluvian civilization, so he was able to jumpstart the technological beginnings for the post-flood world. Thousands of years of Stone Age groveling was not needed. I am risking writing something that is nearly universally frowned upon in our age, only because it offers, I think, a much better explanation for the consensus that Egyptian rulers achieved to have been able to pull off the successful completion of a Giza and Orion master plan. Since archaeologists and Egyptologists reject the idea of a master plan, they do not have to come to terms with explaining it.  But it's there.  Way beyond coincidence. If Egyptian society had developed from aboriginal dog-eat-dog roots, there would not be much of a basis for a solid consensus over decades. Power hunger, fear and distrust would have come to the front. But there was such historical respect for Enoch, mythologized as Thoth, and the Creator who he worshipped and taught about, that the necessary reverence was a built-in part of the Egyptian heritage.  It is from here that the Egyptian respect for ma'at, for divine order, derives. The record of Enoch is that he walked with God, and was taken to heaven because of it.  So all the math and geometry and metrology and theology that Enoch taught was connected to his reverence for the Alpha and Omega, the Creator. We live in such a secular age it may be harder for us to understand a people who lived and breathed with the reality of a living Pharaoh serving a living Creator, such that the simplest duties and pleasures of daily life were infused with theological gravity. This helps explain the high quality craftsmanship displayed in the likes of jewelry, boat and pyramid construction during the Old Kingdom. Pharaoh Khufu seems to have undergone the same kind of conversion as Pharaoh Akhenaton would later undergo. They both wanted to shut down the panoply of Egyptian gods with their associated temples to focus on the worship of the one true Creator God. If the whole point of the tremendous stone building explosion in the Third and Fourth Dynasties (see Figure 6-1), by far the greatest in the history of the world, was to house the body of the dead king, you would think there would be a bit more decoration, adornment and celebration of the deceased monarch. It seems that some kind of powerful restraint was in operation to keep prideful pharaohs from planning Getty mansions. Every effect has a cause sufficient to explain it. Figure 6-1 There have never been very satisfactory explanations for the lack of decoration in the 3rd and 4th Dynasty pyramids. But their stark emptiness can be explained by the Pharaoh's deeply religious desire to have no idols or representations of things that would deny aboriginal faith in the Creator.  There is a message in those stark pyramids, filled, not with bragging words and art, but only with the geometric knowledge of the dimensions of the earth and moon and all the currently known universal constants including pi, phi, Euler, Euler Mascheroni, Light Speed and others. This has been shown by polymaths Robert Edward Grant (Instagram @robertedwardgrant) and Alan Green (YouTube channel “Bardcode”). The message is thus crying out to the Creator, "You alone are God! We will have no gods before you! We stand in awe of you, the First and the Last, the Alpha and Omega!" The stark vacancy of the flourishes of human achievement, prowess and pride that would normally fill such human constructions is a gigantic act of worship. This is what the pyramids are then, an act of worship. The prophet Isaiah writes of the Great Pyramid: "In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the Lord near its border. It will become a sign and a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt..." (Isaiah 19:19-20) This is a reference to the Great Pyramid because it alone solves the conundrum of the passage. We are told the subject of the prophecy referred to is in the midst of Egypt at the same time it is near its border.  How can something be both in the middle of something and at the same time at its border?  The Great Pyramid is certainly in the midst of all that is Egypt, at the center of Lower Egypt, and near the center of the quadrant formed by the Nile Delta. But the Pyramid is also at Egypt's border in two ways. First of all, it is in Giza, and known as the Great Pyramid of Giza: Giza means "border."  Secondly, Egypt was properly only the cultivated territory along the Nile. There was nothing distinguishing Egypt from the vast deserts east and west of it, other than the "black land" fertilized by the overflow of the river Nile.  The edge of that cultivated land with the surrounding desert was always, until the advent of modern artificial boundaries, the true border of Egypt.  So the Great Pyramid was the monument referred to by Isaiah, because it was in Egypt's midst and yet at its border. (see Figure 6-2) The Hebrew word from which the English word "pillar" is translated is translated often as "monument" and is not necessarily in the shape of a "pillar."  The Great Pyramid is certainly a monument, the greatest of the ancient world.  It is also called an "altar" and a "sign" and a "witness" to the "Lord."  This is exactly the case we are making for the great pyramid.  It is a sign...it points to the stars Orion and Sirius, for instance. It has a prophetic timeline.  It reveals mathematics and geometry  that point, as a sign, to a Superior Intelligence. And it was created as an act of worship to the Creator, an "altar" on which the human pride that likes to have boasting steles that rant and spew trash talk about victories over enemies is absent.  Figure 6-2 So here is one of the great purposes of the Great Pyramid, revealed by the prophet.  It is a "sign and a witness to the Lord...in the land of Egypt." There are four places in the Great Pyramid that point out the Alpha and Omega, the Creator.  1. I found it etched in the descending passage’s West wall near the significant “scored line” (see Figure 6-3 and 6-8) that is there, on October 6, 2018. This Alpha Omega image is pictured in Figure 6-4. 2. Exactly one year before, October 6, 2017, Robert Grant found Alpha and Omega etched in the incredibly hard diorite making up the empty coffer in the King's Chamber in the Great Pyramid. See Figures 6-5, 6-6,and 6-11 below. Also there is a text capture between Mr. Grant and myself, where he points out that the "legs" of the Alpha touch the Omega at 137 and 222 degrees on both the Alpha-Omega in the King's Chamber Coffer and the outside East face Alpha-Omega (instance #3.) 3. I also found an Alpha and Omega image which appears on some views of the outside Eastern face of the Great Pyramid, near the top right. (See Figures 6-5 and 6-9, below.) 4. The final place where Alpha and Omega are revealed together is on a cross section of the Pyramid, viewed from the East. The outline of the Pyramid forms the Alpha, its crossing the imaginary line connecting the exit point of the two King's Chamber air shafts, and the Omega is formed by a circle whose center is the top of the Queen's Chamber gable and whose circumference touches the significant Pyramid passages: the top of the King's Chamber relieving gable, the important junction of the first ascending passage with the Queen's Chamber passage and the beginning of the Grand Gallery, and the highly significant grotto in the bedrock. (See the diagram in Figure 6-7) Figure 6-3 To the charge that "Alpha and Omega" are Greek symbols which came about after the time of the Old Kingdom and the building of the Great Pyramid, several credible responses are in order.  The first is that the Alpha and Omegas are part of the Great Pyramid!  Now of course it is possible that the Alpha and Omega on the coffer was carved into it after its initial building. And it is also possible that the Alpha and Omega near the scored line in the entrance passage was etched after that passage's initial construction. It is also possible the Alpha-Omega on the outside East face of the Pyramid is a false positive because of some natural stains or cracks and it's also possible it was placed on the Pyramid by some graffiti artist like a crop circle on stone.  But the cutaway cross section of the Pyramid with the Omega formed by a circle, centered on the apex of the Queen's Chamber,  and touching all the other major passages, with the Alpha formed by the shape of the Pyramid itself seems hard to easily dismiss. Figure 6-4 All 4 of these appearances of Alpha-Omega seem to be part of the message intended by Enoch and/or the architects who laid the master plan. Figure 6-5 Figure 6-6 The first appearance of the Alpha-Omega that would be seen by a searcher, is the one on the outside, the East face. That would go along with the general sense visitors always seem to get at Giza, upon first seeing the Great Pyramid. Wow! Awe-inspiring! Who did this? Wow! Incredible! Mystic! Powerful! And these commonly felt emotions upon first simply viewing the imposing outer dimensions and majesty of the Greatest Pyramid fit the idea behind Alpha-Omega.  This is the sign of the Creator! Of everything! The first and last! Incredible! Wow! Now that the searcher is sufficiently impressed by the ineffable splendor of the outside of the Pyramid, there is a desire to want to know more.  Eventually this will lead to finding out more about what's inside, either by reading, or actually entering the Silent Sage.  So, entering in at the original entrance, and starting down the descending passage, in what is called the "entrance passage," you come to an anomaly- the scored line. (See Figure 6-8.) There are two unique almost-upright joints in this passage, just before the scored line.  The Pyramid is saying "Take heed!  Pay attention!” Then come the scored lines, perpendicular to the passage, the only lines of their kind in the entrance passage.  Figure 6-7 Figure 6-8 Figure 6-9 These point to an important constellation in the heavens at the time the Pyramid was built, the Pleiades. They are the seven sisters being taken captive by the raging bull Taurus.  Orion seems bound to rescue them. And then immediately after the scored line, on the west wall, is the second Alpha-Omega.  Its positioning here seems to be saying, "Stay on course. Orion wants to rescue you. The raging bull is tenacious, but Orion, the Omega, is here to help.  Keep going forward!" Assuming the searcher is sufficiently ambitious, he will find the upward passages, and begin his ascent through the first ascending passage, then the powerful Grand Gallery, through the humbling of the antechamber, and then, finally, to the King's Chamber and its one powerful icon, the coffer, an empty coffin! See the author standing at the coffer in Figure 6-10. The promise of life after the grave, the promise of resurrection, the promise of life eternal!  So if the searcher then bows in awe at this coffer, this resurrection symbol (as many do..), he may be led to see, as he rests on that coffer, that there is an Alpha-Omega etched on its southwest rim. (See Figure 6-11.) "You are here!  You have persevered!  And now you will have a place with Orion and Osiris and the Pharaohs in the Happy Field of Food, the wonderful hereafter!" Scott Creighton, Gary Osborn, Alan Alford and Peter Lemesurier are among the Great Pyramid authors who have seen the clues in the Pyramid as part of the Designer's intention.  They say it seems as if the Great Pyramid has been set up as a giant puzzle which requires skill, knowledge and astronomical/geometric acumen to understand. That only seekers, honest-hearted and serious about understanding will ever, indeed, understand! The implication is that the Great Pyramid has chosen to hide its secrets this way to keep them out of the wrong hands.  This is always what I have had in mind in referring, as I do, to the Great Pyramid as the "Silent Sage."  He is only silent to those not trying to listen... to Him! And notice in what I have just written, I have personified the Great Pyramid.  I wrote about the Silent Sage as if he was a living, breathing person, the way I noticed Peter Lemesurier used to do.  I was never sure if Lemesurier did it by accident, or consciously.  It is easy to do, because there is such a Vast Intelligence embedded in the metrology, music, math, geometry, resonance, astronomy and architecture in the Pyramid, that it seems, it feels, like there is a living intelligence there!  It is as if the Alpha and Omega, the living Creator Himself, is engaging the searcher.   I have seen such a wide and varying set of profound understandings that are derived by researchers of all stripes, many of which I have not mentioned even a sentence about in this little book, that I look at the Pyramid's architect and Master Encoder with the kind of awe that sometimes comes over people when they are told about the billions of other solar systems that exist in our universe. Figure 6-10 And so even as I write this, I am thinking - and now putting it plainly in print - that the hand of God is in the Pyramid. Of course I believe human designers were involved, of course I recognize it was put together by human sweat and ingenuity, but still and all I have said it... I see the hand of God here. Enoch walked with God, or so says the Bible, and there certainly seems to be profound evidence for layers of surprises, revelations, and profound mysteries beyond the mind of man.  Designing a pyramid as a scale model of earth? Remembering that the Pyramid is not a sphere and yet still manages to mimic that orb! Channels minutely framed that point to stars pregnant with lore and meaning?! Universal constants thought only to have been discovered by the Greeks and, especially (Euler) modern man plainly embedded in the sacred geometry of this Sage?! Figure 6-11 The size of the moon, its relation to earth, the speed of light... need I go on!? Legends say it was conceived by Enoch, scripture says he walked with God and pleased God, and... there it is... the GREAT Pyramid. Amazing! Unmentioned in the above praises to the Pyramid is perhaps its greatest revelation of all - its prognostic powers. Its ability to accurately predict things in the future. Some modern researchers have found in the Great Pyramid evidence for the meter, which was supposedly invented during the Enlightenment! How did it know? Many of the early expositors of the Great Pyramid viewed it as a revelation of the Christian faith thousands of years before Christianity existed! They found an accurate timeline of Jewish and Christian history in the first ascending passage and Grand Gallery,  based on the scale of one inch along its passageways for every year of time. They also found the place and moment of the Exodus and also the birth of Jesus, and his crucifixion.  Some of the expositors who had this view of the Pyramid included Sir Isaac Newton, John Taylor, the Edgar brothers, Adam Rutherford, and C. Piazzi Smyth, the royal astronomer for Scotland. These were all sane, accomplished men, not fringe lunatics, even though they earned the derisive title "pyramidiots." Labels such as that do no service to the advancement of learning.  If there is some truth in these chronological prophecies, then it is likely there are more, meant for our day, to be uncovered when the time is ripe... unless there are no searchers seeking for such things.  Egyptologists can scoff, but the final verdict of history - the Omega point - is not yet fully in view. Time will tell, although, as the Arabic proverb goes, "time fears the Great Pyramid!" Speaking again to the argument that the Pyramid is older than the first and last of the Greek letters, Alpha and Omega, it should not be missed that both "Alpha" and "Omega" have their origins in Egypt, not Greece. The goddess Hathor wore a headdress which was an "Omega".  See Figure 6-12.  Gigal Research says the Omega shape, also often pictured also as an akhet symbol with oxen horns holding a sphere, came from the changed orbits that Venus suffered in the past.  Velikovsky and others have said these orbit changes came with corresponding environmental disruption on the Earth.  Thus, the Omega associated with Hathor seems to have somewhat the same connotation it carries in the Christian era, where it can represent omega - "final" - catastrophic events on earth before the return of Christ. There are ancient Arabic and other legends that say one of Enoch's main purposes for the stone witness he wanted to leave for future generations was to warn them of coming catastrophe, such as the flood that came to his generation.  These Omegas in the Great Pyramid may be one of the places where this warning resides. This is also the message from the ox horns holding the sphere, which appears to be the Egyptian Akhet symbol. (See Figure 6-12) While in ordinary usage this symbol is translated "horizon" many expositors have pointed out a wider range of meanings for akhet, including as a harbinger for both the local flooding of the Nile, but also the more catastrophic type of destruction such as a flood brings. So here again this Omega symbol seems to fit the Christian era idea of a warning of coming catastrophe.  The Alpha plainly also has roots in Egypt. What is believed to be the oldest alphabet, developed in Egypt, was found near Luxor at the cliffs of Wadi El-Hol.  The alphabet provided a simpler way to communicate than through the use of hieroglyphs. The ox head in Egypt was developed into the letter A, later to be used by the Phoenicians and Canaanites as "aleph", before being passed to the Greeks, between 1200 and 900 BC, as "Alpha."  But even before this language there were Egyptian hieroglyphics from 5000 years ago, which seemed to appear fully formed, with no antecedent, and the alpha seems to have roots there.  Figure 6-12 The Egyptian picture for the vulture is pronounced with a guttural "A" sound, and other birds of prey, such as the eagle (aguila), and hawk (remove the unpronounced "h", thus "awk") are pronounced with an "ak" sound.  This "ak" sound means "sharp point" in all Indo-European languages.  Thus the sharp point in the way we write "A", and "Alpha," which looks like an arrow head. So whether by the pointed tip of the horns of the ox, or the sharp talons and beaks of the birds of prey, the ancient roots of "Alpha", point to a God who is sharp and powerful, and as the first letter of these ancient alphabets, including Greek, He is the beginning, the first. Figure 6-7 shows visually the four instances of the "Alpha and Omega" in the Great Pyramid.  It is interesting that there are also four uses of the term "Alpha and Omega" in the Bible, all found in the book of Revelation, and all of them quotes from the risen Christ, which John the Revelator records as follows: Revelation 1:8. “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:11. Saying, "I am the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. What you see, write in a book, and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia..." Revelation 21:6. Then He said to me, "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost." Revelation 22:12-13. "Behold, I am coming quickly, and my reward is with me, to render to every man according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end." Four Alpha-Omegas in the Great Pyramid, four Alpha-Omegas in the Bible.  This is an interesting coincidence especially because the Great Pyramid has been called the "Bible in stone!" About the 4 instances of Alpha Omega in the Bible. There are 4 uses of that name in the King James Bible. But many other translations only list 3 uses of Alpha and Omega in the Bible. Interesting. Because 3 of the Alpha-Omegas in the Great Pyramid are physical marks. It would be hard to deny that they exist. But the 4th Alpha and Omega we talked about was based on interpreting the look of the geometry of the passages, the way a circle is formed centered on the Queen’s Chamber’s gable. That could certainly be left off the list by some people. So the Bible/Great Pyramid/Alpha-Omega connection is even more entwined. There are 3 or 4 instances of Alpha and Omega in the Bible, depending on which translation you use, and there are 3 or 4 instances of the Alpha Omega in the Great Pyramid depending on how you treated the internal passage Omega. And here is another way the usages of Alpha Omega in the Great Pyramid can be parsed. See Figure 6-13 for a chart which divides them into Inner and Outer usages, and Beginning and Ending points. There is an Alpha Omega on the outside of the Pyramid as a whole, and then an inner interpreted usage of the Pyramid as a whole. Then there is one near the beginning of the passage system a searcher would encounter, and then there is one at the end of the line, the victory of obtaining eternal life, represented in the open coffer in the King’s Chamber. So with this look at the Giza monuments, especially the Great one, let's continue to check the other stones making up Orion in Egypt, by heading down (north!) to the foot of Orion, the star Rigel and let ENOCH continue to unfold before us... Figure 6-13 7. Rigel, the foot in the stars Rigel, the left foot star of Orion, corresponds to a place near Abu Ruwash on Egyptian soil, where there is, indeed, a pyramid.  Well sort of a pyramid.  There is actually a large pit that Egyptologists say is - or was - a pyramid.  So this is definitely a "score" for our ENOCH theory. When we overlay the star map of Orion on lower Egypt, Abu Ruwash is in the area of the star Rigel. So let's see what it is that the Egyptians erected at Abu Ruwash. Egyptologists say Khufu's son Djedefre built this structure, but it was either never built, or built and demolished.  There is actually a lot of evidence that this was not meant to be a pyramid- or should we say actually, there is a lack of evidence of this being a pyramid. Though there are reasons to believe it was never purposed as a pyramid, that didn't stop National Geographic from putting together an hour "documentary" about this "pyramid," called "The Lost Pyramid". In this movie we are told of the intrigue and jealousy between Khufu and his renegade son Djedefre who refused to build at Giza but went up north to Abu Ruwash to do his thing. That was one of the theories that some Egyptologists treated as the real story, when there is no evidence to back it up.  As a matter of fact it was Khufu's son Djedefre who interred his father's famous solar barque, his funerary boat, and placed it in a large pit south of the Great Pyramid.  This was no Freudian father-son animosity, it was actually a son honoring his father. To pitch this movie Zahi Hawass, who at the time was head of Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities, said, "I'm a pyramid man, and what I've seen now has made me change many things. Every history book in every language is going to be rewritten." Over a decade has passed since Hawass said this and no history book has been rewritten. Whatever it takes to sell a movie I guess. They also pitched the video by saying Djedefre’s pyramid was larger than Khufu's!  While a few Egyptologists had seen the making of a pyramid with 60 degree sides, which would have made a tall pyramid indeed, Abu Ruwash is actually on much higher ground than Giza, so it wouldn't have taken much to get higher than Khufu! But as we follow our ENOCH hypothesis, we don't have to make up stories about the supposed feud between Khufu and his son, and successor Djedefre.  We are not pitching a movie.  We have a very good idea why Djedfre left the comfort of Giza to go elsewhere to make a pyramid - or whatever he made.  It was not so much like "Dad, I'm leaving you! I don't like what you are doing in Giza! I have my own ideas, I'm out of here!..."  Instead it was, "Dad, I love it here at Giza with you. I would love to stay and enjoy the benefits.  But you and I know, we have a plan to complete.  We need to transpose Rigel, from heaven to earth.  I am willing to go to the more desolate Abu Ruwash and build something.  Please give me your blessing."  Just as his father Khufu had built in a risky spot rather than take the high ground that would later go to his son Khafre, Djedfre would follow his father's humility and move to a desolate spot up north, so he could fulfill what had been foreordained by Enoch's master plan. Something needed to be erected so Rigel could makes its way from being a star in heaven to be transposed to a become a pyramid (or whatever!) on earth.   Keith Hamilton, in his paper "The Great Pit of Abu-Ruwash," points out that what is built at Abu Ruwash is not up to the standards of other 4th dynasty building.  Hamilton does a study of all the available evidence at Abu Ruwash, and looks at the Egyptologists who have researched and written about it, and he concludes that a pyramid was likely never intended. The very name that has come to be associated with this pyramid, from associated inscriptions, is "Djedefre’s Starry Sky."  It seems it was meant to be an observatory.  That is what noted scholar Robert Temple concluded. The ramp going down to the large pit is reminiscent of the Grand Gallery of the Great Pyramid before it was covered over. That marvelous structure may well have functioned as an observatory at that time. Djedefre is now considered the son and successor to Khufu by many Egyptologists. Hamilton suggests that when Djedefre went off to Abu Ruwash to build, Giza was fully engaged in its building regime under his father Khufu.  It is likely the observatory was going up at the same time the Giza pyramids were. It is possible that Djedefre’s “Starry Night” was a rehearsal of sorts for the Grand Gallery. Traditional Egyptologists would not like a simultaneous build because it breaks the assumed narrative of each pharaoh building one pyramid at a time. But this doesn't seem to be a pyramid. The greatest resources of the empire were put into the Giza giants. Djedfre likely had less resources at his command, but with the Egyptian resourcefulness displayed by scribes in their creative use of space in writing hieroglyphs, by boat-builders in fabricating hulls, and by masons in shaping stone, he built an observatory that still remains to be studied in the present. Djedfre built on the high ground of Abu Ruwash, a good place for an observatory, and also helped fulfill the master plan for bringing Orion from "above" to "below." Unfortunately this pyramid is in a military zone and is not open to the public.  It may be a "lost pyramid" in that sense, but researchers and high-paying excursions still get access. What I have not mentioned so far, is that I was not on an expensive excursion. I was on a budget and couldn't take the time and pay the money to get in, so I went with my friend Moses, who is my taxi driver in Egypt, and also the one I rent camels and horses from.  Figure 7-1 He is pictured In Figure 7-3, outside the walls of the Starry Sky site, trying to make a deal for me to get in. Long story short... we did not get in... but we can still tell the ENOCH story without a personal visit to this Abu Ruwash pit. One of the attractions for the alternative crowd to the site is a mysterious piece of carved granite. (See Figure 7-4) Chris Dunn, the alternative researcher who has written two popular books ("The Giza Power Plant" and "Lost Technologies of Ancient Egypt", see Figures 7-5 and 7-6) in which he explores ancient Egypt with an engineer's eyes, has suggested that the large boat pit at the Abu Ruwash site, like the one Djedfre built for his father at Giza, was actually the housing for the large grinding wheel that would have been necessary to shape a curved piece of granite like that. (See Figure 7-7) The alternative crowd views objects like this curved granite piece as evidence that the pyramids are much older than Egyptologists say, proof that they were built by a previous civilization which had a superior technology. But that conclusion is a huge overreach based on the evidence. If the actual evidence was an entire city wired for electricity, or evidence of a control center for launching satellites, or an old magazine listing cable channels available in the Giza area, then the conclusion would be warranted.  But Egyptians were so talented at crafting, and moving stone, a simpler conclusion would be that we have not yet figured out how they cut curved granite. But in a sense we have, if Chris Dunn is right about the purpose of the "boat pit." It housed the large saw that would have been necessary to put the curve in the granite.  The stone mason's guild at Giza and its engineers were skilled at working with stone. And they were also secretive about the logistics of their trade. Our failure to discover the saw does not mean it did not exist. So before we move to our next stop on our ENOCH journey, the companion star to Rigel, named Saiph, let us look over some of the factors that are guiding our ENOCH search, as they are now coming more perfectly into focus. FIRST is the growing number of researchers - Creighton, Hancock, Ellis, Zitman, all the alternative writers - who claim there is abundant evidence of a coordinated plan for the Giza pyramids and many sites throughout Egypt. There was more agreement going on than can be explained by the idea of individual pharaohs in a prideful battle for the biggest pyramid. Figure 7-2 SECOND is the sense that the superintending intelligence for such a master plan must be a source with great wisdom and a source which carried large respect among the pharaohs during the Pyramid Age. That, we think, came from the patriarch Enoch, the "progenitor" of the god Thoth, so revered in Egyptian theology and mythology. Most ancient societies have a god who was associated with the creation of language, who had great skill with writing, was a master measurer, the originator of metrology, the science of measurement, an expert on astronomy, arithmetic and geometry. For ancient Rome it was Mercury, for the Greeks it was Hermes, the Egyptians revered Thoth in these matters, and for the Chinese it was Fu Xi, the creator of the I Ching. But there is little sense in which these various peoples believe this god is an actual person. None of these gods claimed to be the Creator, the Alpha and Omega, the God above these other so called gods. They are mythic. Which means, not only that they are not really gods, but that ... they are not really real! Figure 7-3 But almost everything antediluvian, destroyed by the massively devastating force of the great flood, is gone from the archaeological record, buried miles underneath the oceans and the mountains that were formed after the flood. Figure 7-4 Figure 7-5 Figure 7-6 The only way Enoch came to life on our side of the Flood was initially through the testimony of Noah and his sons, including Ham (Khem), the father of Egypt. These stories of reverence passed among the human race as it grew exponentially, and relatively quickly became disconnected from the literal man Enoch. But these stories became etched, nonetheless, into the archetypal human memory. But we still have connection to his name, Enoch, the father of metrology, in the basic unit of many measuring systems - the inch.  Following the pattern of some Semitic languages, there are no vowels, so Enoch (=nch) is synonymous with inch (=nch). Like Lincoln's picture on every American penny, Enoch's name is embedded in the English system of measures, the foundations of which have been traced to antiquity. Every measurement with a ruler, tape measure, or other measuring device is a tip of the hat to the wisdom and divine knowledge of Enoch!  Figure 7-7 So how did the Old Kingdom pharaohs gain Enoch's master plan, when Enoch's identity had been lost from the bulk of mankind? Most people are familiar with one or more of the secret societies such as the Masons, the Rosicrucians, the Illuminati who believe they have privileged access to special knowledge, and they are very guarded as to who they pass it on to.  This same dynamic goes back to the sense of divine obligation that the patriarchal line felt in stewarding and carrying on the truths given to and acquired by their fathers, especially, Adam and Enoch.  The YouTube channel Sacred Geometry Decoded recently did a series of videos tracing the etymology of "Hermeticism", the magical hidden knowledge, and it is a dizzying and complicated family tree, including the Jesuits, Templars, Kabbalists, Gnostics, and Theosophists. There are dozens of dissonant beliefs expounded by all these different organizations and secret societies. Though New Age proponents like to imply that there is a unity of knowledge among these various groups, there isn't. It is cacophony. This was even true soon after Enoch's ideas began spreading 5000 years ago. Thus there was need for the real and true "secret society", the line of the patriarchs from Adam to Noah before the flood, then from Noah to Abraham and beyond after the flood. The patriarchs felt the need to protect the core essence of the truths that Enoch taught.  All of these groups that claim to be in the Hermetic tradition are not really in the line of truth from Enoch, (Hermes) the true Hermetic tradition, but are part of the polluted stream that has wandered miles and continents from the teachings of the first, the highly anointed, Enoch. While the Egyptians rightly revered Thoth for being the author of written language, astronomy and math, even they did not have a systematic list or a full syllabus of Enoch's teachings. They knew that Thoth (whoever he was) had it, but they did not.  How then can we say that the plans of Enoch got woven into Egyptian architecture and the pyramid placement corresponding with Orion?  The legends of Enoch said he had plans for monuments to show future generations the depth of understanding that ancient man had in the major sciences, the geography and astronomy of the earth and heavens, the meanings of the constellations, and knowledge of the warnings, the prophecies, of world catastrophes to come.  How did some of this get into Egypt, as evidenced in the constellation Orion correlation and the revelations in the Great Pyramid? It is interesting that there is historical evidence that a "shepherd" race with a great leader, got the ear of Khufu during the building of the Khufu and the Khafre pyramids. Herodotus, the "father of history," in his Histories, writes a long narrative account of Egypt during his time, and also relates stories told to him by Egyptian priests that refer to Khufu's time in the 4th Dynasty. While some scholars question Herodotus's accuracy as a historian, many accept his accounts, especially when he is simply gathering information from local sources... not that those sources are always accurate, but that Herodotus is accurately recording what they are saying.  Sir William Flinders Petrie, considered one of the founders of modern Egyptology, is widely respected for his scholarship.  He writes of Herodotus what could be said by others about himself: "The accuracy with which Herodotus states what he saw, and relates what he heard; the criticism he often applies to his materials, and the care with which he distinguishes how much belief he gives to each report; all this should prevent our ever discrediting his words unless compelled to do so." What is it that Herodotus tells us? The key portion of the Herodotus narrative about Egypt may be his statement about who the Egyptians consider the real "brains" behind its grandeur. Herodotus says there were was a shepherd named Philitis or Philition who pastured his flocks in that area, and the Egyptians call the pyramids by his name. Now it is hard to believe that the Egyptians would just observe a passing shepherd in the area and say, "Hey, let's name the Pyramid after him!"  This single sentence from Herodotus seems pregnant with implied meaning.  The Egyptians looked down upon shepherds according to Genesis 46:34, where Joseph instructs his family as they prepare to go to Egypt. He tells them to answer Egyptian questions about their livelihood by answering that they are shepherds, and then he adds, "...for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians." This cultural observation could simply be the somewhat common distrust of nomadic peoples by some urban dwellers, or it could be the general suspicion Egyptians had of foreigners, or it could be strategic advice.  Joseph knows that if they say they are shepherds (which they are) as their ancestors were, they will not appear ambitious, and thus not be seen as challenging other Egyptians for higher status.  In any case, this makes the statement about Philitis all the more singular.  For here was a shepherd obviously held in high regard. It seems likely that one of the reasons Egyptians would be willing to ascribe the Giza Pyramids to Philitis is because they saw him constantly consulting with Khufu.  Perhaps they saw him circling the Pyramid with Khufu, pointing here and there.  Perhaps they observed long sessions with Khufu's chief architect Hemiunu, and in other ways noticed his unusual favor with members of the royal court.  So the question is, who is Philitis?  Another possible clue to his identity, besides his occupation, is one of the effects he seemed to have upon Khufu.  Herodotus records that the temples of the Egyptian gods were all closed during the building of the Khufu and Khafre Pyramids. This is, obviously, highly unusual in Egypt given its multiplicity of gods, and would be unique were it not for the later history of Akhenaten, who also favored a form of monotheism.  Because that is what it seems Khufu is doing.  Closing the temples to the various gods seems to be a desire to single out just one, the Creator. The temple closures seem much more likely because of a desire to worship another God, rather than no god - atheism.  Atheism is a 20th Century invention, unheard of in that distant era of world history.  Couple this jealousy for a singular God with the austere interiors of these gigantic pyramids, without adornment, shouting a disdain of idolatry of any kind. It seems we are pointing to the patriarchal race descended from Enoch! Shepherds, strong faith in a singular God, and the desire to want to share it. And there is an archaeological record to back up this connection of Khufu to Philitis. Hans Goedicke put together a book which featured hieroglyphic reliefs that appeared in the Pyramid of Amenemhet I at Lisht, Egypt, that had been used first in other pyramids. In that collection there is a fragment with Khufu's cartouche and royal titles, which Goedicke conjectures came from Khufu's Valley Temple.  This is a conjecture because Khufu's Valley Temple, unlike the other two valley temples on the Giza plateau, has never been excavated.  Many scholars think it is out in the village of Nazlet El-Samman, the humble village just east of the Giza complex, and thus will likely not be found anytime soon because of the sensitivity of trying to move people out of their homes for the purpose of excavating a temple that may or may not be there. See Figure 7-8. Figure 7-8 Below (Figure 7-9) is a hieroglyphic relief which adds support to this account.  It shows a foreigner with a prominent place amidst the titles and symbolic references to Khufu.  This is something never done by Egyptian scribes. When a foreigner is brought into an Egyptian narrative, it represents war, an enemy to be defeated or be put in chains, never one to be honored. See for instance the sandals that King Tut wore (Figure 7-10) where a Nubian and Levantine were built into the inner sole so that every step Tut took he was trampling foreigners. Foreigners are seen as a form of chaos, and, unless they are chained as prisoners or otherwise humbled, they would never be allowed to exist under the protection of the wing of the royal bird, and directly next to the royal cartouche of the Pharaoh as in Figure 7-9. Therefore the foreigner carved in this relief could be Philitis, mentioned by Herodotus as a major influence on Khufu. THIRD. The third plank of our ENOCH hypothesis, after 1) the evidence of a coordinated plan, 2) the evidence of a person sufficiently respected among Egyptian royalty to whom allegiance would be given, is 3) the sense that the same Creator who guided Enoch, and Philitis, and, apparently Khufu, can also guide us. Enoch "walked with God," and became a giant repository of knowledge of the things of nature and God. The Alpha Omega has left evidence of His presence through the abundance of incredible revelations in the Great Pyramid, including the appearance of its "Alpha and Omegas." Why shouldn’t we, like Enoch, expect evidence of this "Alpha and Omega" as we engage in this search. That is, we can be expectant that if we are honest searchers, and following the clues from Enoch, and, especially, the Alpha and Omega that Enoch served, then we can expect to see evidences of His manifestations in our journey. The Biblical record is that Enoch walked with God and then "God took him" to Heaven. While that may seem a bold and eccentric claim, it seems to me to be the hidden but unspoken promise made by all who engage in interpreting Egypt, the pyramids, and indeed, any of the mysteries of life.  Figure 7-9 The implicit promise of a Graham Hancock, or a Chris Dunn, or a Robert Bauval goes something like this: "With us, you see that we are not getting the right explanations from official channels.  You know the Egyptologists are withholding things from us. There’s things they know which they aren’t telling us. They are holding us back.  We know that there is an ancient intelligence at work here, that has been hidden from our history.  This is a mysterious, powerful intelligence that we are in search of.  They were connected to the secrets.  They were the gods from the past.  Figure 7-10 “If you just stay with us, follow our specials, buy our books, accept our attitudes and outlooks, our alternative findings... then you too will be on track and in the know..."  I am being serious here.  Have I unpacked this honestly?  Isn't this rather the implicit promise of following the alternative gurus? So again, following the example of Enoch, we can be forgiven if we go forward hopeful of finding more evidences and clues of the Hand, and perhaps even the Presence, of the Alpha and Omega. With this in mind, before we move on, let us think on the meaning of our find of Rigel at Abu Ruwash. How can we interpret our finding that an observatory is at the spot of Rigel, the foot of Orion? Rigel means "the foot that crushes." In the sky, Orion is using this foot to squash two enemies.  First is every gardener's enemy, Lepus, the hare. But the second enemy is Eridanus, the River of the Judge.  Since no man is perfect, who can look at this fiery stream and spew confidence of safe passage to the next life because of their virtues?  Yet here is Orion, raising his "foot that crushes" ready to gain victory over the River of the Judge.  And how does he do that? From where does this confidence derive?  The book of the Dead, with its spells, prayers, and incantations to aid in passage to the next life, is called "The Book of the Coming Forth by Day". Orion has found the path of the "coming forth by day" that Egyptian pharaohs sought. Like Osiris, he has triumphed over the grave! Orion's name is given in the Dendera Zodiac as Ha-ga-t, which means "this is he who triumphs."  In this zodiac, the hieroglyphic characters below him read OAR.  (See Figure 7-11.) Orion was anciently spelled "Oarion" from the Hebrew root which means "light." The ancient Akkadian was "Urana", meaning "the light of heaven." So our ENOCH mission is in alignment with Orion's ancient naming. We are following the "light of Heaven" so we may obtain "light" – and "Heaven!"  So we find at the foot of Orion, where the star called Rigel rests in an observatory, that the foot, on the earth, points to the heavens in the sky above!  Figure 7-11 Our feet are our foundation, and one of the foundations of ENOCH is the messages left in the sky.  The very first chapter of the Bible says that the very first purpose of the heavenly bodies is that they act as "signs."  Symbolism.  Which, we, the searchers, must decipher. The constellations have messages for us, because they were named by Enoch.  He put the original encoding of the divine message there.  We will continue to follow Orion on the soil of Egypt now, by leaving Abu Ruwash and the Rigel observatory, and moving next to two more of Orion's "lights." First, moving east, to the star Saiph, which seems like it might be Orion's other foot, but is not, and then to the place which seems like Orion's creation factory, the home to multitudes of stars, the Orion Nebula. Named "M42" it is quite a remarkable display of light in Orion, "the light of Heaven." 8. Saiph, M42 and the cutting edge of life Come From Away is a Canadian musical, set in the week following the September 11 air attacks upon the United States. It tells the true story of what transpired when 38 planes were ordered to land unexpectedly in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland. The characters in the musical are based on real Gander residents as well as some of the nearly 7,000 stranded travelers they housed, fed, and entertained.  The musical is performing to rave reviews in many places, acknowledged by critics and theater-goers alike as a touching story opening a window as to how human kindness has the capacity to triumph over disaster and hate, even in times of distress and darkness. My own favorite part of the story line was the account of a black man who was from a city neighborhood that experienced the crime and anonymity which can characterize such urban areas. Every time he was shown kindness by the people of Gander, he would, he said, "Check his wallet." Checking to see if it was still there.  Because he was from an environment where if somebody is suddenly kind to you it is because they are trying to get something from you.  But as this man continues his interfacing with these Newfoundlanders, he comes to realize these people are offering help and comfort with no thought of cost or repayment. It's real. It's who they are. Here is the way one internet blogger ("Robby Robin's Journey" https://robbyrobinsjourney.wordpress.com) described the play: "An acquaintance of mine who once experienced life as a door-to-door salesman, and whose route included Newfoundland, recalled times when he'd apprehensively knock on the door of a country home to be greeted by a housewife who'd give him a big welcome and usher him in for a cup of tea before he could even tell her who he was or why he was there. That is Newfoundland hospitality! There is a great scene in Come From Away where one of the airplane passengers joined in helping some townies organizing a BBQ for all 6700 stranded passengers. The organizer told him to take his truck and go around taking everyone's grills to use for the BBQ. The passenger, an African-American, said, 'Take their grills? Won't they shoot me?' He stopped at one home and got sidetracked helping the homeowner with something else. As he was leaving, the homeowner called out, 'Don't forget the grill.' "The important point I want to make is that although Come From Away portrays people responding to circumstances far beyond the ordinary, the outpouring of compassion and support for all these strangers was not at all out of the ordinary for the people of Gander,  Newfoundland. And the question I ask myself is: Why is it that some communities feel safe enough and trusting enough to extend that same feeling to strangers and, let's be clear, people who aren't necessarily like themselves, while so many other communities don't? Is it because they are relatively isolated and therefore more likely to welcome strangers with open arms? Is it because they live on an island? Is it more likely that islanders have a trusting nature? ... Or do some cultures breed distrust and intolerance more than others? Are places with smaller populations more likely to trust strangers? Are places with more challenging weather more welcoming to strangers? I wish I knew. I know Come From Away made me wish we could bottle up their warmth and scatter it around the world." So what does this have to do with our trip over to Saiph, and then M42, from Rigel? (See Figure 8-2). You will see.  ENOCH will show you.  Hang on. Figure 8-1 is the logo used to advertise the musical, “Come From Away.” Figure 8-1 Figure 8-2 Figure 8-3 When we got to the approximate coordinates we had for where to expect pyramids in both Saiph and M2 there were plainly none in sight.  My navigator friend Mr. Hunter said they were there,  40 meters down. Buried. Ok, so let's ring these spots up as "failures" and continue on our ENOCH journey to the next site. We don't have money or permission to excavate 40 meters down into the farming communities where we found ourselves. Move on. But no. There was something magical about both these spots that was apparent to Michael, my traveling buddy,  and myself. (See Figure 8-4) Figure 8-4 Michael was a 19 year old from Ireland who had come to work for room and board at the hotel where I was staying in Giza. He told me of an internet site where young people go to find out where they can get these kind of arrangements in different places around the world.  Not a bad deal.  You do some cleaning, cooking, and service work at the hostel or hotel every day in exchange for meals and a place to sleep.  When I was doing my research in Giza I would often in the evenings, go to the rooftop lounge, overlooking the Sphinx and Giza Giants, and socialize with the various guests who were invariably there.  It was very stimulating and I made some great contacts and friendships this way.  Michael, who was newly arrived from Ireland, showed great interest in my stories about the work and research I was doing at Giza, and when I told him I would be going to try and find traces of zpyramids in the places where I thought Saiph and M42 would be, he asked if he could come. I was glad to have him. He was a great companion because he was eager to learn, not demanding, and enjoyed talking with me about the mysteries of Egypt. When we took a selfie together (see Figure 8-4) at "Saiph,” I remember Michael calling the place, its scenery and vibes "magical" and "wonderful". Really, we both experienced the "places" of Saiph and M42 like they were Gander. The two communities, very similar, so treated here collectively, were a mix of planted fields, and busy streets filled with small family business commerce. People who were so culturally different from us were so friendly. And though of different statuses among themselves, some wealthier, most poor, a few with cars, some with horses and carts, most with their walking feet only, these people accepted, not just us, the white newcomers, but they accepted each other. It's easy to put on a hospitality front to someone you will know for only 15 minutes, but how about a neighbor of 15 - or 50 - years? Here was no sense of jealousy for what they didn't have.  The variety on the bustling streets - cars, carts, camels, wagons, old trucks - was working with few stop lights, speed limit signs, traffic cops.  There was no visible road rage as vehicles of different speeds and sizes navigated the narrow roads. The ethic was not, "What's wrong with you? Get out of my way!" as it would be in so many places, but more like, "Hey, let's be sure to not bump into each other!" And after close calls, there was no yelling, swearing, giving obscene gestures. As I am writing this, the famous television news show Sixty Minutes is doing its last show with Steve Kroft, (Sept. 8, 2019) who is retiring after 30 years of exciting and groundbreaking news coverage. He interviewed the world's greats, he went places other reporters wouldn't and he broke stories others thought impossible.  Figure 8-5 Leslie Stahl asked Steve to pick a favorite news piece he had done, to show in its entirety, on his final appearance on the show. From the incredible diversity of stories he had done, from the hundreds of places he could have chosen, from stories about crime or political intrigue or popular stardom Steve chose a piece about a place like Gander, a place of which Saiph and M42 share characteristics. Steve's piece was about the Isle of Eigg, a tiny island ten miles off the coast of Scotland, in the Inner Hebrides. (See Figure 8-5). It has one main road and 100 residents. Residents years ago were able to take the island out of the hands of wealthy families and got it chartered as Scotland's only community-run estate.  Kroft reported that people on Eigg (pronounced "egg") "rely on each other... there is no place for feuds."  There is no police force, little health care, no shopping malls, but Kroft reported that the people "seemed to be on the same page."  Cows and sheep sometimes block the road, so people learn to be patient, and compared to what one of the residents called the "hamster wheel" of most modern city life, the pace on Eigg, Kroft says, is "stress-free." In the New Testament, both Peter and Paul use the metaphor of a pyramid to refer to the believers in Christ.  Paul writes: "You are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens...of the household of God, and you are built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the extreme corner (the top stone, the pyramidion), in whom all the building , rightly joined together, comes to be a holy house of God in the Lord." (Ephesians 2) . Whether you are religious or not, the point here is that this writer is using the metaphor of a pyramid to explain the proper relationship of some human beings, as Figure 8-6 displays. The New Testament is plain that the church is not a physical building.  So these apostles have just chosen to use the shape of a pyramid as a symbol of a relationship among people. So a pyramid can symbolize a group of people in community. Company organizational charts are sometimes drawn up like pyramids. So remember in the beginning of this chapter we said we should move on because there is no pyramid here? But think of the magic we found in the outskirts of Cairo, in "Saiph" and "M42," away from its wealthy districts, out where some food is grown, and relatively poor people live in community. Think of the people in Gander, think of the people on the island of Eigg. These are pyramids.  They contain powerful and unusually positive social fabrics, where, pretty much, everybody knows everybody. Steve Kroft spends 30 years of covering some of the most amazing stories in our lifetime, visiting with the powerful, and what does he pick as the one story he wants the rest of us to see?  The Island of Eigg.  Figure 8-6 So let's follow ENOCH now, which has led us to this point. Alpha and Omega is with us, guiding us.  The way Alpha and Omega interacted with the patriarch Enoch, giving him so much knowledge, such logos, such powerful meaning.  The one who named the stars of Orion.  Who was burdened to warn us about catastrophes coming on the earth such as wreaked havoc on our race in times past.  The catastrophes that Hancock and Bauval and West and others have always said happened to our distant ancestors.  That took away Atlantis, and the Tower of Babel, and Pompeii. And so maybe there is more than just a nice feel good story in Saiph and M42, the way Come From Away is a story.  Maybe there is a warning.  About the right and wrong way to live.  Many researchers have said that the stories of the destruction of Atlantis, just like the fall of Rome, are associated with stories of intemperate, debauched living, impure thoughts and actions that angered the gods.  There may be pyramids buried  40 meters deep beneath the terrestrial Saiph and M42, but those are not the pyramids the Alpha and Omega is taking us to. As I talked with Michael in the cab that brought us back to our Giza hotel, we were both glowing about what we had just experienced, the way that people are when they watch Come From Away.  The way Steve Kroft was when he did a story on the Island of Eigg. The Alpha and Omega, the Creator, could have kept those supposed buried pyramid remains above ground, the ones that Mr. Hunter says are there.  He could thus have let there be a perfect set of pyramids corresponding to Orion stars in Egypt.  But instead He points us to a different kind of pyramid. If the reader at this point thinks the narrative here is getting a little far-fetched, I ask you to withhold judgment until we visit our next set of Orion stars and where they make their appearance on Egyptian soil. So come along as we head toward the place on earth connecting to the Orion stars that depict him holding up in victory, the skin of the roaring lion he has defeated, the king of beasts and the mortal enemy of man.  This journey will take us southwest to some relatively new suburbs of Cairo, that, while they are closer to Giza geographically, "Saiph" and "M42" are much closer to Cairo's urban centers culturally and logistically. Come along, then, to the district named the “6th of October City.” The name of this district carried special meaning to me as a date because on it, October 6, 2018, I found an Alpha and Omega engraved in the Great Pyramid, and the year before, on October 6, Robert Grant found the one in the coffer. Not only that, but since I was in the Great Pyramid with special private permission from the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities, I shared the Pyramid with the only other visitor allowed in on that day – Melania Trump! I was scheduled to be in the pyramid from 5 to 7 that morning, because the Pyramid opens publicly at 7. But the authorities told me that they were changing my time to 3 to 5am! So when I was coming out of the Pyramid at 5am, I wanted to see what important person had pushed my time back to the early morning… but there was no one ready to come in at 5am. I was told the authorities were just creating space between my visit and the highly protected appearance of Mrs. Trump on the Giza Plateau that day! Interestingly enough, Melania and I, in some mysteriously spun connection, had on the same outfits that day! (See Figure 8-7) Who wore it better? Figure 8-7 9. The Lion’s skin: Who is the enemy? Figure 9-1 So we have traveled from the giants of Giza, first to the Starry Sky of Djedfre in Abu Ruwash, then east to Saiph, the tip of the sword, then southwest to the agricultural community associated with the Orion Nebula, M42. We will now continue southwest toward the lion skin that Orion is triumphantly holding aloft, symbol of a previous victory. Let’s think through some of this before moving along. Saiph, the tip of the sword, is a single star, and M42, the Orion Nebula, is a group of stars. The communities of Egypt where each comes down, as we have shown, are agricultural communities. It was obvious when we were there that the normal pressure of urbanization was present. The engine of economic growth that pushes out farmland to build apartments and the like. When we walked through the fields, it felt rural, calm and wonderful, and then walking to the nearby village streets the gravitation toward city culture could be felt. But still this citification was growing up amidst what still could be experienced as a local community. I could see that the needs of the handicapped were being met organically, without government programs. I could see that there was a general trust among the people engaged in their daily tasks; running their shops, walking with their children, buying the day’s necessities. So what is the Alpha and Omega saying, following our ENOCH model? Stars are being created in M42, the Nebula, and Saiph is the tip of the sword. The message seems to be that the pyramid – the community – where one grows up is the tip of the sword, a critical part of their future. The community is the Nebula, the incubator of future growth. If it takes a village to raise a child – the child has to first be in a village! The best incubator -- based on following the pyramids on the ground where Orion stars are in the sky! -- seems to be pastoral, communal, low tech, supportive. And we will see that is not the case as we move into the enemy territory. And it is interesting that a chiasmus – a cross – the symbol of a crisis, is formed by connecting the stars Rigel and Betelgeuse, and Saiph and the Enemy, the Lion skin. We are getting a little ahead of the story here, but want to place this out visually to help as we proceed. Figure 9-2 shows the chiasmus, the cross formed by two lines. The northeast-southwest line connects stars that have no physical pyramids (although we are suggesting they point to the metaphorical pyramids of community), and the northwest-southeast line connects two pyramids, Djedefre’s and the “Unfinished Pyramid” of Zawyet el Aryan. Well, Egyptologists say these are pyramids, but Djedefre’s sure doesn’t seem to be, as we have shown, and we will see the same will be true when we get to the Unfinished Pyramid – it too is a “pit” most likely an observatory, and not really a pyramid at all! But we will call them pyramids, as Egyptologists do – they are certainly massive 4th dynasty constructions! And it is interesting that this chiasmus forms itself in the shape of a cradle, a symbol carrying the idea we have been talking about, the importance of being cradled by a good community. Notice the similarity in the two pairings connected by the chiasmus: metaphorical pyramids in the one direction, and pyramids that are not really pyramids, but, most likely observatories, in the other direction! So as we head to the “enemy,” the part of the constellation Orion where he holds up the skin of a defeated lion, we find that we are in a district called “6th of October City.” (See Figure 9-3) Now here is an area that did not grow up organically, from years of family growth and neighbor relationships. 6th of October was built from the ground up using modern technology, by the Egyptian government, to meet the needs of an industrial society. The other “enemy” we have referred to as part of the Orion star story, is what the constellation Orion’s foot Rigel is stepping on, Eridanus, the river of judgment. Both of these enemies are prominently in focus when we overlay the stars of Orion onto the earth of Egypt, in the instant case, the 6th of October City. (See Figure 9-4 and 9-5) Figure 9-2 Figure 9-3 Figure 9-4 Figure 9-5 Figure 9-5a Figure 9-4 is a print out of Google Earth, with South “up”, showing the outline of both the shape of Orion drawn on Egypt, which we have been following with our ENOCH hypothesis, and also the political boundaries of the 6th of October City. The artist’s rendition of Orion in Figures 9-5 and 9-5a, similar to most major current and ancient depictions, are based on stars that are in the same orientation as the underlying Google Map image, and thus the overlay gives a fair idea of where Orion “lands” on Egypt soil. Both “enemies” are depicted. Notice that the lion’s mane follows the political boundaries of the 6th of October City, and Eridanus, the river of judgment that Orion’s foot Rigel is stepping upon, showing through the transparent river, moves directly concomitant with the fully developed industrial and residential areas visible with the darker coloration where street lines can be easily observed. This is why we said to withhold judgement as we were interpreting Saiph and M42 to symbolize positive and healthy communities, because it is hard to deny that the “enemy” sections of Orion are pointing to contrasting cultural and demographic living arrangements. In our own experience with the newly developed areas, there was more of what is experienced in wealthy suburban areas in many places. The interdependence experienced in the agricultural areas is not felt here. There is a self-sufficiency among dwellers here because they are more professional generally, with higher paying jobs than the people living in “Saiph” and “M42”. There is less sense of community. The greater sense of the material protection of assets was tangible to me. When I planned my trip to research for this book, I was scheduled to stay in an inexpensive hotel in Giza, in what the locals call “Mena Village”, where the camel owners and local workers live. It is in the shadow of the Pyramids, with great views. Just before I was to leave for Egypt, my friend Mr. Hunter put me in touch with an official who works for the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities, who, to make a long story short, offered a good price for me to live with him during the time of my stay in Egypt. I thought this would be a great opportunity because of the possible networking, and the price was almost the same as for my humble Giza booking, so I agreed. After I stayed the first night I realized this was not going to work for me. I had no car and would be dependent on my host, and taxi drivers to get to the Giza Plateau each day. I was also high up in an apartment, which, while it had great views of the pyramids in the distance, was out of touch with any locals. I would have to mediate coming and going with special instructions about gate permissions, key codes and the like, not to mention the hassle of an elevator and the awkward feeling I got in the neighborhood where this high rise was. It was not the communal feeling I get when I am in Mena Village, a sense not unlike that of Saiph, and Eigg, and Gander! So my host allowed me to break my arrangement with him, and I went back to Mena Village in Giza, among the common people. I loved my stay there as I did my research. So my personal experience matched that of what I see symbolized by the transposition of Orion on Egyptian soil! I’m sure we could find sociological studies on the harmful and beneficial effects of raising a child in a supportive, trusting community versus a more affluent but less organic community with a greater focus on material culture. And I think we would find each community tends to beget development which mimics its own. Children who grow up with less materialism and experience positive community will develop children whose values and tastes align, and the same for the more affluent community: Children will develop with more concern for material products and wealth and will groom self-sufficiency over interdependence. How each reader feels about those results will certainly vary. But it seems that the message from the Alpha and Omega – believing that there is Providence at work in the unfolding of Orion’s meaning – is that one of these two forms for optimum cultural development is … the enemy! Legends around the world associate the constellation Orion with judgment. Look at the pose of “the smiting!” Orion has his club raised and is moving in on his enemies, with evidence (the lion skin) that he has been victorious in the past. If Orion is a symbol of Osiris, and ultimately the Alpha-Omega, then we are not out of line to suggest this is one of the possible meanings – and thus warnings – of ENOCH. The book of Revelation says that the antichrist will require a mark without which people cannot buy or sell. This image of judgment from the Bible then also seems to relate dependence on material culture as something to hold lightly. These interpretations are in line with the historic teachings that say Enoch wanted to get warnings of future catastrophes in the monuments he intended to place for the benefit of mankind… once they were able to be interpreted. It seems these messages were left in the geometry and stones of the Great Pyramid, and in the books that are written in the constellations, like Orion. While I hate to think about such things as much as anyone, it cannot be denied that natural catastrophes have been a horrible reality in previous times. And any caring person who had to suffer going through one, might think, as a decent person, of what he or she could do to warn of such future devastations. The movie Twister is built on such an idea. A young girls sees her dad whisked away by a Kansas tornado, and vows to find an early warning system. That is what legend says Enoch wanted to do. Is it responsible or foolish to try to listen to the messages coming from Orion, which Enoch crafted long ago by naming the stars and setting up the story? Let us look a little more closely at Orion and his interface with the 6th of October City. So far we have just mentioned the effects of living in differing communities. But there is more pictured here. Because 6th of October City is not just residential. It is highly industrial. And a nation’s industrial means always serve the military needs of a country. The Yom Kippur War, also known as the 1973 Arab-Israeli War, was fought from October 6 to 25, 1973 by a coalition of Arab states led by Egypt and Syria against Israel. The important thing to note here, is that this district, “6th of October City” gets its name from the day that Egypt went to war against Israel. It is not even the date of some victory, which we would expect. The name of the city, this “enemy” city comes from a day that Egypt chose to go to war. Even Wikipedia lists the result of the war as an Israeli military victory. So in a “War” in which you are not even victorious, you still name the new city you are building after the day you went to war. Thus the very name of this “enemy” city “6th of October City” screams not only ”militarism!” but mild Jihadism. Go to war, win or lose, but by all means, go to war. The enemy defined by Rigel, the foot of Orion that is crushing Eridanus, the river of judgment, could correspond to the militaristic imagery we are finding with ENOCH. Because the river aligns geographically with the heart of the industrial development. But not so with the lion’s mane, for it is situated over the legal boundary of “6th of October City”, but there is nothing developed in that area. Thus the “enemy” pointed out by the “enemy” of the lion is political. A government had the power to determine that area is part of the legal territory of “6th of October City” even though there is nothing currently built there. The warning from ENOCH then, following the connections of heavenly Orion with earthly Egypt and factoring in that an Alpha and Omega intelligence is at work, is that the authority and power of earthly governments can be an enemy. This is like a rallying cry from the Enlightenment. Governments should serve people and honor their rights, or they are an enemy to the people! That is what started the American Revolution. Governments are “instituted among men to secure…rights” and when they do not do it, they should be overthrown. Strong central governments, when they take away freedom of self-expression, and freedom to worship freely as people would choose, rob citizens of their human potential. This is the warning from Orion. The problem is, Egypt was not really a beneficiary of the Enlightenment. The ideas that changed and opened up the Western World did not develop in the Middle East. When Egyptians revolted against their 30 year dictator Hosni Mubarak in 2011, Western observers thought democracy would inevitably follow. After free and fair elections, when the Muslim Brotherhood candidate Mohmed Morsi was elected, another revolution took place, this one ultimately not from the people, but from the military. Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, an Egyptian general, overthrew Egypt’s only democratically elected President, Mr. Morsi, and so today Egypt is ruled by a military government. Back to the Pharaohs. The Egyptian people generally are satisfied with al-Sisi so they don’t complain that they do not have a democracy. When there was recently a terror incident near Giza involving the bombing of a bus, threatening the new burgeoning Egyptian tourist trade, it was reported that 40 people were executed the day after the bombing. Do you think there were trials with evidence based conclusions before these executions that happened the day after the terrorist bombing? I really did not intend for this book to make any kind of political statement, I am just trying to be faithful to the principles of ENOCH in interpreting the constellation Orion. So let us leave the current discussion by reviewing the simple things that we have uncovered by using ENOCH to look at Orion’s enemies, the lion and Eridanus, the river of judgement. We are warned that we have a potential enemy in a strong government which does not fully protect citizens rights, and that fosters militarism. We are being led to consider the communities in which we choose to live and raise our families. And we are reminded that there may be a future apocalyptic setting in which these warnings take on special significance. With these rather unpleasant conclusions let us move along in our Orion journey to his shoulders and head, symbols of his mental and physical strength. 10. Orion’s shoulder Figure 10-1 Figure 10-1 shows our current path. From the stars over the 6th of October City we will head east into the desert to go to the two “shoulder stars” of Orion. First to Bellatrix, then we will continue east across more desert to get to the other shoulder Betelgeuse We will then head southwest through more desert to get to Meissa, the star in Orion’s head. With the coordinates I had from Mr. Hunter, which coordinated with my method of visual placement of Orion on Egyptian soil, I set off into the desert alone, using my iPhone for GPS navigation. Since the Bellatrix location was not far into the desert from the main road where I had Moses, my cab driver, drop me, I figured I should be okay. As it turned out, it wouldn’t much have mattered where the exact Bellatrix position was, because the entire area was basically flat, some unnaturally so by vast evidence of bulldozing and piles from dump trucks dropping loads of brecciated rock and fill in organized rows over a large area. The giant Giza pyramids were visible to the northeast at times, so if there was a pyramid anywhere in the Bellatrix region, it would have been obvious. There was not. Again, Mr. Hunter assured me that at the right location there was indeed some kind of structure 30 meters down. I can simply say there is not one visible from the surface. Period. “Bellatrix” means “female warrior” in Latin, but its more ancient derivation from Arabic means “suddenly destroying” or “swiftly coming,” according to Frances Rolleston whose work Mazzaroth is a good source for the ancient meaning of star names. These terms conjure up the images associated with the traditional sense of judgement associated with Orion, charging as he is with his club raised high, on the war path. Unlike the stars we have encountered so far in our Orion journey, there is no population center here. The area of Bellatrix is barren. Joining this picture with the meaning of its name, we could say we are given a stark picture of the result of an Orion destroying mission. If there were things of beauty and greatness before Orion’s wrath in judgment, they will be gone when it has been assuaged. As we have already hinted, we will not come up so empty handed when we continue east across the desert to find what is at our Betelgeuse point. But to properly represent my journey to Betelgeuse, I did not go as the crow flies. I attacked Bellatrix from the west because of a major roadway, because walking across a harsh desert to get from Bellatrix to Betelgeuse was not a wise choice. The Betelgeuse point is, like the Giza pyramids, right next to a population center. So I again had my cab driver Moses take me to the village of Zawyet el Aryan, where he has relatives, and I would attempt to get to the associated pyramid spot with a short walk from that town, rather than a long walk through tricky desert. Alas, the Unfinished Pyramid, outside the village of Zawyet el Aryan, the pyramid we referred to in the last chapter, is a near ditto for Djedefre’s in Abu Ruwash … it is a deep pit, not really a pyramid (though Egyptologists always want to say it was meant to be… or was and was demolished), and it too is in a military zone. It was used as a garbage pit for a long time. It is a shame this “pyramid” is so off limits. A friend of mine who works in the Ministry of Antiquities, Dr. Reda Abdel Haleem, told me that he is currently working to get this pyramid outside the confines of the military zone so it can be more fully studied. It is one of the most mysterious of major 4th Dynasty constructions, because so little is known about it. Some Egyptologists think some cartouches found there would make it belong to Pharaoh Seth-Ka… an unknown Pharaoh! It has been attributed to at least 10 different pharaohs of the 3rd and 4th dynasty. As I studied about the early explorations of this structure, I noticed that Gaston Maspero in one place attributed it to Djedefre. Others have recognized the “pyramid’s” similarity to Djedefre’s, so I am now attributing it to him, cognizant of the wide disagreement among scholars. Figure 10-2 Before it was sequestered into a military zone (1964), Hollywood used it in one of the largest epic films of all time. One of the taglines used for publicizing the 1955 “Land of the Pharaohs” starring Joan Collins, was “spectacularly filmed in Egypt with a cast of 11,500, by the largest location camera crew ever sent abroad from Hollywood!” Figure 10-2, a shot of actual filming for the Hollywood blockbuster, shows the extent to which this structure is really more a pit than a pyramid. This pyramid is by most accounts in much better condition than Djedefre’s to the North, at Rigel. Djedefre’s Starry Night, since its function seemed to be for observational purposes, might explain its inferior qualities. One of the distinguishing features of this “Unfinished Pyramid” is the round polished pink granite sarcophagus that was found in its pit. However it is even debated as to whether it is a sarcophagus at all and may have had some other function. Keith Hamilton has written a history of the limited excavation of this edifice, “The Great Pit of Zawiyet el-Aryan”. He says it is hard to trace where it was first called an “unfinished pyramid” but once it was that name and idea stuck with Egyptologists, even though Hamilton makes a strong case that it was intended as a great pit, possibly for purposes similar to Djedefre’s Starry Night, and, as such, it is not really unfinished at all. He points out that many of the finely finished aspects of the pit would be totally unnecessary if it was to be covered over with pyramid blocks. The fact that it is better quality than Djedefre’s may mean it had ceremonial functions beyond those of observation. Figure 10-3 is his representation of it to indicate its size and scale, and to suggest this may have been its intended final form Figure 10-3 Betelgeuse is one of the brightest stars in the sky, and it is interesting that it and Rigel, the two stars associated with pit “pyramids” are the brightest stars in the constellation Orion. Betelgeuse is also one of the largest stars among stars visible to the naked eye. If Betelgeuse was placed on top of our sun, it would extend out to Jupiter, thus devouring the Earth with heat. If there is one part of this constellation that should define Orion it would seem to be this star because the ancient Arabic root of “Betelgeuse” is al-Jauza, which means – Orion! Variations are Yad al-Jauza, the “hand of Orion”, Bait al-Jauza, “armpit of Orion”, Al yad al Yamna, “the right hand of Orion”, and Al Mankib, “the shoulder (of Orion)”. So if we were going to use synecdoche, the figure of speech where we pick one part of Orion to represent his whole being, it would not be his belt, but this shoulder. The shoulder is the part of a person that we associate with the ability to handle large physical loads, and to handle responsibilities. We speak of someone “shouldering” a burden, meaning they are handling a problem or crisis, responsibly dealing with it. The arm above Orion’s shoulder shows us the burden that he must “shoulder”. The fearful and dreaded task of the club he is wielding, is a metaphor for the judgment that he is scheduled to unleash, when the time has come. The image of the “smiting” associated with so many of the reliefs of pharaohs, this image which has crossed the night sky for ages since the days of Enoch, will someday come to its climatic fulfillment. This seems to have been a widespread understanding among many ancient peoples. The theme is being revisited in our time with the renewed interest in the Great Pyramid and other ancient prophetic sources. We tell our children it will hurt us more than them when we reprimand them and discipline them. How much more so when the task involved is the sense of the justice that must at some point be meted out by the Alpha and Omega, Orion returning, an event prophesied in apocalyptic literature from many cultures. So with ENOCH, Betelgeuse finds its way from being a star in the sky to being, not a pyramid on earth, but, with Rigel, another observatory. The stars, when brought down to earth, are telling us to look back up to the heavens! As above, so below, and now, as below, so above. Bringing Orion to the soil, we are finding, is putting him back in the sky. The Great Pyramid, one of the “stars on earth,” Orion’s Alnitak, by the southern shaft from its King’s Chamber, is pointing to Orion. The star Rigel, on earth as Djedefre’s Starry Night, is pointing back to Orion. The star Betelgeuse, on earth as the “Unfinished Pyramid” is, we are finding, really just another observatory pointing us back to the heavens! The first chapter of the Bible says that the stars are for “signs.” That is what Orion, brought to earth, is also shouting! Figure 10-4 There is also another pyramid about 1000 meters from the Unfinished Pyramid of Zawyiet el-Aryan, called the Layer Pyramid. It too is in the Betelgeuse area, bringing Orion down to Egyptian soil. Like the Unfinished Pyramid, very little is understood about it. It is the only pyramid I know of in Lower Egypt that has an entrance on the east side, not the north. It has a 25 meter deep shaft on its north side which is mysterious, purpose unknown. (See Figure 10-4 where I am examining this shaft with my team.) There is no agreement as to whose pyramid it is, other than most Egyptologists believe it is from a 3rd Dynasty pharaoh, but all the kings lists differ as to who the pharaohs are in this Dynasty! Even the well-known Egyptologists who have studied it disagree not only on its measurements, but the scope of its passages. It is called the “recumbent camel” by locals because it looks like the hump of the sitting camel. (See Figure 10-5) But many locals don’t even know about. When I was talking in the village next to this pyramid, with some of my cabbie Moses’ relatives, who had lived there for 20 years, they did not even know about it until I showed them…and it is in sight of their village! I am not kidding. This pyramid is not on any radar of any Egyptian guide, even though it is free – no ticket needed to get to it, unlike all the other pyramids near Giza -- because it is near the military facility guarding the Unfinished Pyramid, and Egyptians (rightly!) fear the military. Local adults, and children, who followed me when I first explored it alone, strongly warned me not to go to it. (See Figure 10-6, where I am entering its eastern entrance.) As I studied the current astronomical understanding of the star Betelgeuse, it is apparent to me that it is like the two pyramids which represent it on the soil of Egypt, the Unfinished Pyramid and the Layer Pyramid. Figure 10-5 Figure 10-6 The three of them are complex objects of which much is unknown. All three could be studied, “excavated” more intensely. The size, brightness and etymology of Betelgeuse are not fully settled by science. The current state of knowledge for each of these three will not be the final word. More will be found out. Which leads me to this conclusion about this star/pyramid link in our ENOCH journey. While much is unclear about the association, there is enough for me to stand in awe at the fearful task facing the Alpha Omega in shouldering the burden of measuring the collective karma of mankind and eventually responding in the way that led Enoch – who prophetically was shown this future Omega point - to want to warn future generations of the cataclysm. Now on the brains of Orion, the star in his head, Meissa. 11. Meissa, the head of Orion Figure 11-1 I will be honest. I was very scared in preparing to hike alone miles into the desert to find the position of Meissa, the head star of the constellation Orion. (See its approximate location in Egypt in Figure 11-1). When I had gone alone to search for the Bellatrix point I was not tremendously far into the desert from a main road, yet even so my phone battery was stressed by keeping on the GPS, and reception became more difficult. Meissa was literally miles farther, and I was unsure if my phone would get reception, if the battery would hold out, if there were treacherous sections where being alone would be dangerous and unwise. I was not sure if the area was off limits as I had heard, and what blockades I may come across in the desert. There were no guides available promising “Safe Travel in the Giza Desert to Meissa, Orion Head Star.” But I had come to Giza to carry out two research projects and scared or not, there was only one way forward. Besides this ENOCH research I was also studying the Trial Passages of the Great Pyramid, and presented my research on those little known and interesting constructions at the annual conference of ARCE, the American Research Center in Egypt, on April 12, 2019. (www.arce.org) Dr. Mark Lehner, the world famous expert on all things Giza, attended my session and went out of his way to tell me it was a good presentation. I was surprised by his affirmation because we have been adversarial at times, but of course I appreciated it. It made me think I had been successful. I wanted my other project, this ENOCH research, to be successful also. The night before I was to set out to Meissa in the early morning with my cabbie Moses, to be dropped off a main road to hike into an unknown desert, I was double checking my bag and nervously readying my camera and supplies. I got a text after midnight, when I was still wide awake. It was from one of a group of four Texas adventurers I had met, who were staying at my hotel. The itinerary for the tour they were on included shopping in Cairo the next day. These Texas adventurers were not thrilled with a day of shopping. “We’ve seen all the souvenirs and trinkets,” they told me. The purpose of the text was to see if they could join me in whatever venture I was involved in that day. When we had visited in the roof lounge on previous nights they were always intrigued by the escapades I was sharing. So I texted back, and gave them a price for my guide services, warned them of the dangers and asked them to soberly consider if they really wanted to go with me. They assured me they did. I immediately contacted Moses and told him we would need another cab in the morning. So later that morning, bright and early, three of them got into one cab, and Cody and I joined Moses as we headed out for our drop off point near a mosque on the ring road. I did a live Facebook video as we were traveling in the taxi, interviewing Moses and hyping the adventure of pursuing the expansion of the Orion Correlation Theory, as we headed toward Meissa, the head star of Orion. I pointed out that Meissa was a multiple star, so maybe we would find multiple pyramids. With my Indiana Jones/Zahi Hawass hat proudly displayed in the live video I was marketing the adventure. To be honest, I was sure there would be no pyramid at the Meissa spot, for it would certainly have been found and known by now if there was one, but that didn’t sound sexy enough to tell my followers, so I kept the mystery of the chase in the forefront. Little did I realize then that something awaited us in the desert. When the filming was finished, I began telling Cody about the potential problems I anticipated using my iPhone as a compass and GPS and the battery time needed. “Hey,” Cody said, “I have a new watch that has a great GPS option that I haven’t hooked up yet. Maybe we can use that.” And so, as the hand of Alpha and Omega seemed to enter the cab, Cody went online, got the manual for the watch, and set up the GPS. Once he got it set up, the coordinates of where we were in the cab was the same on both my iPhone and his watch. As Cody had the Texas take-charge personality I knew I now had a navigator for our desert trek! He input the coordinates I gave him for Meissa, so we were set to launch. When we go to the mosque which would be our return sight line once we came back out of the desert, we made plans with Moses to be picked up at the end of our adventure. We began our trek east, retracing some of the desert I had traversed on my Bellatrix search. When I think of sand desert, like the Sahara desert, I think of golden sand flowing on forever, like blue water in an ocean. I was shocked to find the diversity of terrains we encountered on our journey of many miles. First there were the organized piles of dump truck stone fodder that seemed to go on forever. Somebody had done some massive excavating, or they were using this as a stone dump for the whole city of Cairo. There were rows between the piles, like a neatly ordered suburban neighborhood… of rubble! We walked through these “streets” following Cody’s directions of where to head. Figure 11-2 There were areas of huge sand dunes that limited our sight and required circling, but these, like the dump piles were easy to hike around. What I never expected, that we came across twice on our journey, were mini “Grand Canyons!” I honestly remember thinking, “We are never going to get around this.” Going through it would have been impossible without mountain climbing equipment – and skill! (See Figure 11-2) Somehow Alex found a way (see Figure 11-3) around and guided us through as we continued with Cody’s GPS guidance. Figure 11-3 After some torturous detours, probably tripling the distance of a crow flying, we began to get closer to our GPS heading of “Meissa.” The desert, which had been so filled with dunes and hills and rubble and cliffs suddenly became flat. It was like a bulldozer had gone through with a mission of making a level parking lot. The flat and increasingly hard and compacted sand was obviously not natural. The five of us sensed something mysterious, we grew quiet as we walked. See Figure 11-4 for a picture of Alex and myself, on the level desert I referred to above, as we neared the GPS point of Meissa. And then we saw it. I felt like Columbus sighting land on his voyage long ago. I never thought we would find anything, and now, in the near distance, at about the point we had set for Meissa… was … a … pyramid! Or something that looked like a pyramid! See Figure 11-5. Figure 11-4 Figure 11-5 What could that possibly be? What we found were a half-pyramid that was like a large, symmetrical mastaba, with something like a presentation stage next to it. We ascended to the top of the pyramid in wonder, in awe. Where are we? What is happening? I remember telling my partners about Howard Carter looking through a peep hole at King Tut’s treasures which he was about to uncloset, and he said, “I see wonderful things, marvelous things!” We looked up north to Giza and south to the pyramids of Abusir. I told my Texas team that Egyptian temples sometimes had five places for statues of the Pharaoh with his five royal titles. So we each took one of the 5 spots in the presentation pavilion, put the camera on a timer, and took our ground as pharaohs, consecrating hallowed ground. What was this? See Figures 11-6 and 11-7. Figure 11-6 We knew we had not found anything ancient. These structures were obviously relatively new. I remarked to the crew in rapt amazement about how crazy it was that these structures would be placed in the middle of nowhere, with no roads leading to them. “Why here?” I kept asking. My four Texas friends were all in silence. They looked to me as the expert and I just kept saying things in amazement, shock, wonder! “Even if there were plans to build a road out here, who so far from Giza? There are no stores, no sightseeing attractions. Is this a military installation?” Figure 11-7 I was sure it probably was a military facility of some kind, but there were no signs. There was also nothing to make us feel that we were “trespassing” or “off limits.” “Why here?” I shouted out in bewilderment again. “I know people in Antiquities and they think the Orion Correlation is bogus, I am sure they did not place a pyramid here, to fulfill the star Meissa on Egyptian soil! And I am sure that the military has absolutely no interest in furthering what they think are the silly ideas of foreigners. Why here?” Thinking of the principles we are using as we uncover ENOCH, I had to believe the hand of the Alpha and Omega was again in operation. Moving on the hearts of skeptical designers and builders to place their – whatever it was! – right here, at the place for the head of Meissa, where there were so many other spots out in this barren desert where these constructions could have been placed. I was honestly dumbfounded, and I think my Texas buddies enjoyed the show I was putting on. Because it was not a show, it was the gushing of someone who had decided to chase down stars on Egyptian soil… and was finding them. But as I said at the beginning of this book, finding them in ways I had not expected! Then I remembered that one of the odd Arabic root meanings for Meissa was “the Proudly Marching One.” These constructions looked like they could indeed be stations for field exercises for soldiers in training. Proudly marching soldiers, marching in an area representing Orion, the “Proudly Marching One!” For the Google Earth image of these “Meissa” constructions, see Figure 11-8. Figure 11-8 The more common meaning given to the name Meissa is ‘the shining one.” This name meaning is fitting for the head of Orion because of the associations of “light” with Orion. As we have seen the root of Orion’s ancient name means “light”, and he is called “the glorious one.” Bullinger says the name Meissa refers to Orion’s coming, the Hebrew meaning “coming forth,” bringing to mind the purpose of the Book of the Dead, that Osiris and the pharaohs can “come forth by day.” Meissa is a binary star, so I was thinking it was fitting that there were two constructions here, next to each other. But when I returned to my hotel room and looked on Google Earth, I found another, most mysterious structure not far from the spot where we found “Meissa!” Look at Figure 11-8 for what seems to be some kind of futuristic galactic command center! What is all this? These two mysterious structures out in the Egyptian desert, both in the area where the head star of Orion rests himself on the Egyptian soil! Multiple structures and Meissa a multiple star! Figure 11-9 The Alpha and Omega seems to have a message in this geographic synchronicity, that leads designers to place pyramid constructions in the middle of a desert, in a spot that was, unbeknownst to them, long ago, singled out to be the head star of Orion, the earthly Meissa. Mr. Hunter again claims that there is a pyramid 30 meters under this leveled desert spot, but I can give an eyewitness attestation that it is not there now. So the Alpha and Omega is not putting the focus on finding some clues from the ancient past. The Alpha and Omega is saying, “Why lift the spade? Why seek what is gone and buried? I am here now. The head of Orion is not buried like the body parts of Osiris scattered throughout the land of Egypt long ago. My head is here now. There is a presentation stage with 5 spots, one for each of your royal names. Come forth by day, arise and meet me!” I was so elated at this find that I made an immediate set of posts on my Instagram account, @sagesilent, about our exciting find of a pyramid (of sorts!) at the spot of earthly Meissa. At the same time I called Ashraf Mohamed, the Director General of the Pyramids, whose office was in the shadows of the Great Pyramid. I had met him through a friend who works in the Ministry of Antiquities. I had been in his office where I received permission to climb the Great Pyramid to its original entrance, which is normally off limits. He had granted me that permission. I called him because I wanted to press my “luck” to make the bold request to see if he would unlock the Trial Passages for me (they have been locked for 10 years). I was surprised that I reached him personally right away and he granted me an audience for the next day at noon. I was shocked, even though I hadn’t told him why I wanted to see him. Why had he so willingly offered me an immediate audience? I quickly found out. In his office the next day, his strong body tightened up as he yelled at me for going into the desert. Obviously these officials are monitoring social media and he was incensed I had been out to these places in the desert. He got so mad that he simply stopped his tirade and told me to get out of his office. He never told me that land was off limits. He never told me, really, much of anything, other than that he was mad that I had been out there. I wish there was more to say on this but for now, all I can say is, “What is going on out there?” 12. The Rod of Judgment In Figure 4-1a. we claimed, based on actual realistic representations of the sky and earth, that any honest person would see a similarity of patterns in the stars of Orion in the heavens, and the pyramids the Egyptians placed on the ground. We have said that Egyptian designers and craftsmen were practical, and that they would make a change from an idealized plan when physical and other circumstances deemed wise or necessary. For instance, almost every 4th Dynasty pyramid has a causeway to a valley temple that heads east from the pyramid. The few exceptions occur because of a physical barrier that made an eastern approach difficult. When looking at the Orion stars that form his club (see Figure 12-1), we see a similarity to the layout of the associated pyramid fields in Abusir, Sakkara, and Dahshur. But if the Egyptians were going to faithfully follow the angles and orientation of Orion, they would have angled the pyramids toward the west, farther into the desert. That would have required being farther away from the Nile, the main thoroughfare for the movement of stones to the pyramids, and would have created a tremendous increase in time and energy in construction. Yet, where the pyramids were actually built still shows a reflection of the club of Orion, an obvious visual similarity. If you see the similarity, then the practicality of the ancient Egyptian planners and builders worked. So let us pick up our ENOCH tools and make the final leg of our journey in chasing down the Orion stars on Egyptian soil. Based on the similarity we see in Figure 12-1, the pyramids are (practically) where the stars are. So it will be our task to see what message we might find through this relationship. Figure 12-1 We have already mentioned that the smiting pose of Orion, which is most graphically attested to by the club he raises with its threat of horrible violence, has been recognized by many ancient cultures as a sign of divine retribution and judgment. The desire of Enoch to embed warnings to future generations about the global catastrophes which his generation experienced is fulfilled in one powerful way through the Great Pyramid’s pointing to, and then embedding the constellation of Orion. And in another powerful way, the subject of this book, the embedding of the Orion story via pyramids and messages in Egypt. Enoch named the stars, called a certain grouping of them “Light” or “Orion” and passed down this story line which has been picked up by nearly every ancient culture and worked its message into our present day. Somehow Enoch, or his followers, found a way to convince otherwise vain and ambitious pharaohs to build their pyramids according to a pattern that kept the story going. Reaching this final stretch of Orion, his raised arm and the club he is wielding, we are beyond the non-pyramids of Djedfre and Zawyet el Aryan, beyond the metaphorical pyramids of M42, Saiph and 6th of October City, and the modern quasi-pyramid of Meissa. All the stars beyond Betelgeuse align with pyramids and pyramid groups, real pyramids on Egyptian soil, the heart of the Memphite pyramid system. It is hard to match perfectly the five stars traditionally associated with the club, as pictured in Figure 12-1, with 5 specific pyramids because there are about 15 pyramids in this area, but they are grouped in the three places where the club stars are. The highest two (the most southern) correspond to Dahshur, the middle two, Xi and Nu, correspond with the Sakkara field, and the bottom, Mu, corresponds with Abusir. There is space between the three groups of stars, and space between the three groups of pyramids. There are thus no pyramids on Egyptian soil anywhere between Giza and Dahshur not accounted for by the Orion stars. If we were taking the position that the Egyptians made a perfect spherical-celestial-geometric transposition of heavenly stars to earthly pyramids, then we would have to calculate exactly which 5 pyramids are meant to correspond with Chi-1, Chi-2, Xi, Nu and Mu. But the work of the Egyptians was not left just for Einsteins. They were not Faustian snobs. (Well actually they were in the way they hid their guild secrets… we are really talking about the Designers here…) They leave prodigal clues to the hungry, the seekers, and not just to a hubris-filled elite who will aggrandize to themselves and their pompous guild alone the fruits of revelation. No. These club stars are pointing to the groups of pyramids bequeathed to us in Dahshur, Sakkara, and Abusir, inviting our attention to this second tier of pyramid mystery, the first obviously being Giza. So let us take a quick look at these to see if there is any kind of coordinated message to be derived. The history of large pyramid building is here, beginning in Sakkara with Djoser’s 3rd Dynasty Step Pyramid, moving on to the 4th Dynasty Sneferu, the largest builder with stone in world history. It culminates in his Bent and Red Pyramids in Dahshur. Then to Giza and his lineage in Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. Then to the 5th Dynasty pyramids in Abusir where texts begin appearing in pyramids as their sizes are heavily reduced, to the 6th Dynasty pyramids of Pepi back in Sakkara. While Egyptologists have been loath to accept any kind of higher math embedded in the pyramids, the geometric connections seem irrefutable, and evidence of the presence of the Alpha Omega. Pythagoras said, “Geometry is knowledge of the eternally existent” and Plato said “Geometry existed before Creation.” Let’s look quickly at some of their basic geometry. The Khafre pyramid is built on a 3:2 base to height ratio, 411 Egyptian Royal Cubits wide and 274 Egyptian Royal Cubits high. This makes its cross section two perfect Pythagorean triangles with side length ratios of 3-4-5. (See Figure 12-2.). This form seem to set the pattern for most of the pyramids in the Abusir and Sakkara fields. The pyramid of Neferirkare in Abusir follows the 3:2 ratio, as do the Sakkara pyramids of Pepe 1, Pepi 2, Teti, Merenre, and Userkaf. (See Figure 12-2.) Figure 12-2 The Dahshur pyramids, the Bent Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid, present an interesting geometric configuration. The 3:2 ratio can be found in the Red Pyramid when it is compared to the Great Pyramid. The Red Pyramid’s base is 420 Egyptian Royal Cubits (ERC), and the Great Pyramid’s height is 280 ERC, thus giving the Khafre 3:2 ratio. Another way that the Khafre pyramid is embedded in the Dahshur field is that the corner (not the slope) angle of Khafre is 42.3 degrees which is the slope angle of the Red Pyramid. 42.3 degrees is also the slope angle of the upper part of the Bent Pyramid. (See Figure 12-2.). There is another remarkable feature of the Dahshur pyramids, Bent and Red, both attributed to Khufu’s father Sneferu. Both pyramids are the same height, 200 ERC. If the slope angle of the top part of the Bent Pyramid were continued through to the ground, it would be the same size as the Red Pyramid. There seems to be some kind of special message here from Sneferu in this unusual combination of pyramids. Keith Hamilton in his paper “The Bent Pyramid” marshals evidence to suggest that the Bent Pyramid was meant to be built and look exactly as it is… bent! That might not seem to be too irrational a conclusion, since 4th Dynasty builders have ample proof to show how accomplished they are. But the standard Egyptological explanation of the Bent Pyramid is that while the builders started with the bottom portion’s steeper slope angle, they were forced to lessen it at the top when the Pyramid began to buckle in one of its corners. Hamilton shows there is little evidence to back up that claim, made over and over. Assuming then, as it seems we should, that the ancient Egyptians got that pyramid to us the way they wanted it, what is the message of the two slopes on the Bent Pyramid? If you were to take the two pyramids suggested by the Bent Pyramid, the one that would be the same size as the Red Pyramid if the top angle was continued down, and the pyramid that would have been formed if the Bent Pyramid was continued all the way to the top following its bottom slope, you would find that the faces created by each pyramid would create two different polygons. The Red Pyramid polygon – that is, the top part of the Bent pyramid - is a pentagon. This can be seen by taking that pyramid and folding back its four sides. Each one ends up being the size of 1/5 of a pentagon. So the shape of each face of the Red Pyramid/top of Bent Pyramid is, in a sense, pentagonal. See this visually in Figure 12-3. Figure 12-3 Now doing the same thing with the bottom part of the Bent Pyramid, you would get what is pictured in Figure 12-4, a hexagonal shape. Each face of this pyramid is a 1/6 part of a hexagon. (See Figure 12-4) Figure 12-4 The YouTube channel Sacred Geometry Decoded has shown the significance of many places that use this 6 (hexagon) and 5 (pentagram) geometry. He has a video where he shows how to draw with compass and straight edge, as ancient architects have done from antiquity, a hexagon and pentagon that have a shared side, like the Bent Pyramid would have. See Figure 12-5. Figure 12-5 The configuration for the Bent Pyramid, combining its two polygonal formations, with the hexagon and pentagon joining sides is pictured in Figure 12-6. Figure 12-6. This pentagon/hexagon joining has ancient roots as a symbol, probably going back to Enoch, as its esoteric roots seem widespread. This seems to be what the designer of the Bent Pyramid was getting at. The pentagon and its associated pentagram have been used to represent the human form in its ideal state. DaVinci has made famous this symbol with his Vitruvian man. The man, with his outstretched arms and legs, fulfills the pentagram star that is used to depict the ideal man. See Figure 12-7 for such a drawing. These depictions of the ideal man have roots predating the Greeks, who obviously put great stress on the ideal man and his proper proportions. Figure 12-7 The six-hexagon five-pentagon joined side is associated with an ancient symbol that is interpreted as the joining of the microcosm and the macrocosm as seen in Figure 12-8. Figure 12-8 This is usually interpreted to mean that man is connected to nature, and the universe outside himself. The man, 5-pentagon, is the microcosm, and nature-creation 6-hexagon is the macrocosm. This brings to mind the idea of man’s place in the universe, what philosophers have perpetually called “the meaning of life.” The first few verses of the Bible, whether it is viewed literally or mythically deals with the place of man in his garden, the universe outside of himself. And it is written there that man was given a divine command to be a steward of creation, because he was an intelligent agent within in. Enter the club of Orion, the tip of which is represented on earth by… the Bent Pyramid. The club, which is being depicted in the zodiac story of Orion by stars and pyramids, is represented at its end, the part that will symbolically be striking earth with judgment, by the Bent Pyramid, the pyramid whose geometry says, “Man should be properly wed to the creation of which he is an intelligent part.” Following ENOCH we have previously mentioned what a burden must be borne by the Alpha and Omega if ever the time comes to strike earth with some kind of karmic retribution. And so the part of the club doing the striking is one that represents man in his relation to the creation. His divine calling. The meaning of life. Let us each, to momentarily take the pressure off the Alpha and Omega, evaluate how well mankind has done or is currently doing. As you make this moral evaluation, try momentarily to forget about acid rain, ecological destruction of rainforest and ozonosphere, sex trafficking, religious terrorism, Western material culture, the deification of sports and entertainment personalities, the financial oppression of the 99% by the 1%, racism and prejudice, and … well, you get the idea. Someone might say, in looking at the top (southernmost) stars of Orion, Chi-1 and Chi-2 Oronis, that they are east and west from each other, and the two pyramids we are correlating with them, the Bent (southernmost) and Red pyramids are directly north and south of each other, as shown in Figure 12-9. Figure 12-9 But this apparent damning anomaly may even further cement the growing sense that the Alpha and Omega is saying the time for Orion’s club wielding is now. There is a pyramid on the head of Orion, the Meissa point, now! There was not one ten years ago or a hundred years ago. The lion’s mane, symbol of Orion’s fight with a great enemy, was not over a “6th of October City” a thousand years ago or a hundred years ago. 6th of October City began construction in 1979. So how is the 90 degree incorrect orientation of the Dahshur pyramids with Orion’s belt stars another indication of Orion’s impending rampage? The key for this answer came to me as I was studying Scott Creighton’s work on the Orion Correlation Theory on Graham Hancock’s website. Creighton includes Figure 12-10 in talking about the orientation of Orion’s stars in relation to the Giza Plateau. (See Figure 12-10) Figure 12-10 Here Creighton shows the results of precession between 10,500 BCE and 2,500 BCE in the position of Orion and his belt stars. Notice the belt stars align on the former date with Menkaure’s satellite pyramids and on the latter date with the satellites of Khufu. For the purposes of ENOCH we are interested in the change of the orientation of the club stars. If the constellation Orion is rotated in such a way that his club head would be turned to strike down on Earthly ground, the Chi Orionis stars would move into alignment with the north-south orientation of the Bent and Red Pyramids. This “mismatch” of alignments between heavenly stars and earthly pyramids turns out to be not a mismatch at all, but another prophetic indication of the possible imminence of Orion’s club finally leaving its millennia-long position of potential energy and actually smiting the earth! But it is likely that it will not be able to be timed, as Mr. Creighton did in following precession to mark the 90 degree turn of Orion, because there are so many apocalyptic prophecies that talk about the stars being moved out of their place it could be a pole shift that will turn Orion’s club from its east-west rest to a north-south clubbing. For instance this prophecy from Matthew 24: ““But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” And the club of Orion may strike. The awful specter of ultimate karmic unleash that this raised club has carried since antiquity may one day find its fulfillment. In studying this idea I came across a double witness about what the cause of this horrible eventuality could be. In Chapter 2 we described how the constellation Orion, which is pointed to by the southern King’s Chamber air shaft, is embedded in the Great Pyramid itself. See again Figure 2-8. See also Figure 12-11. The southern air shaft of the Great Pyramid’ King’s Chamber points to the constellation Orion. And not just the constellation generally, but SPECIFICALLY TO THE STAR, AL-NITAK, THAT CORRESPONDS TO THE GREAT PYRAMID! Following this cue, plotting the stars of Orion inside the Great Pyramid yields profound insights. Meissa, the head star aligns with the top of the relieving chambers over the Kings Chamber, showing that to be the head, the brain. Bellatrix is right over the Great Step, the beginning of the passage which symbolizes the tribulation that precedes the approach to the Age to Come, and Bellatrix means “swiftly coming”. Another clue? Figure 12-11 The stars which represent the bottom of the lion skin that Orion holds up triumphantly, signaling his defeat of the enemy, align with the junction of the first ascending passage and the Grand Gallery, the point representing Christ’s resurrection, manifesting the whole Egyptian fixation with entering safely into the next life. ENOCH, our extension of OCT, the Orion Correlation Theory, posits that each star here also represents a place on earth. The pyramid of Djedefre, as we know is no pyramid at all, but a large pit in Abu Ruwash. The corresponding star, Rigel, means “the foot that crushes,” and that star is located right where the well shaft enters the descending passage, to then reach the pit. The descending passage is exactly where the constellation Eridanus is, the “river of judgment”, which Rigel is crushing - thus another message that Orion - Osiris - the Pharaoh - you and me, the initiates, have victory over judgment, thus “coming victoriously forth by day”. And an interesting commentary arises from that fact that the stars which represent the club of Orion, corresponding to the pyramids in Sakkara and Dahshur, are outside the pyramid, separate from the body and person of Orion. This seems to be saying that the karmic retribution and judgment since ancient times associated with the constellation Orion and this club, do not come directly from the conscious force of will of Orion (Osiris), the Godhead, the Alpha and Omega, but from other causes or volition, perhaps ecological deterioration. The Alpha and Omega is not actively bringing tribulation to the earth because the nature of his inner person is vengeful, wrathful, gleeful in punishing. The club, outside the person of Orion, and the Creator he represents, symbolized by being outside the Pyramid, indicates that it is the cause and effect of natural law, the principles of physics and biology and ecology that bring the dreaded consequences associated with the threat of Orion’s club striking. Ultimately it is the race itself through violation of inviolable laws of nature that invites the final blows from Orion. The star Saiph, located at the dead end passage that juts out from the Subterranean Chamber, symbolizes the ultimate end of judgment – final annihilation. Saiph means “sword,” again a representation of processes apart from the direct volition of Orion/Osiris/Alpha-Omega. The “wrath of God” as some people like to call it, is not an act that flows from the center of the Alpha and Omega Creator. It is a consequence of broken natural law, a law that the Creator chooses not to change because He is the One who created it. So the metaphor of a club, or the metaphor of stars being outside of the Great Pyramid, is indicating that though the Creator is not responsible for the retribution that comes from breaking natural law, He is connected to it. Orion’s hand does hold the club. But that only means that He does not choose to stop the operation of the law of Karma. This is indicated in one final place I recently noticed. In the star chart of Figure 12-12, it can be seen that the only stars of Orion that actually exist in the Milky Way are the stars associated with Sakkara and Dahshur – the club stars! This seems to be a heavenly parenthesis, in a sky filled with beauty and wonder and stars of many types, colors, sizes and properties, that it is hard to explain the judgements, the catastrophes that have hit our planet. The annihilation of the antediluvians, the people of Atlantis, the builders of the Tower of Babel, and – could it be – the final unleashing of Orion? How can this be explained or justified? It is as if we are being told that the fearful club will not arbitrarily descend in destruction on the earth, but that it is surrounded, anointed with a heavenly cloud, a spirit of justice and love and mercy, symbolized by a Milky Way. That is the final message from ENOCH. Be true, live in community, as if you were in Eigg, Gander, or in Saiph, and entrust that the Alpha and Omega can do the rest. Peace.
