St. Michael and St. Mary Ley Line

This is a very personal jurney, I was meant to describe a places which I visited and add some historical information, but all that we can find in internet. That is gonna be more about experience and researching. I’m rather a doubting than believing person, but any way I’m on that Ley Line course, so I’m looking for some blessing energy or support or maybe answers, we all have a dreams, we all have a spiritual researches, that I believe. Are we looking for hevenly beings, or someone close to us, or maybe just ourselves ? Everything, together and separately. Even I’m a doubter I’m still a spiritual one. I began that jurney on 6 of May, visiting Glastonbury Tor as a introduction, I will go back latter to this place. Than I looked forward to Hopton in Norfolk where on 8 of May Sun is rising, showing a direction to St. Michael Mount in Cornwall. I could check acctual Ley Line geografical fitting using an application which simulate a sky in particular time and place (Stellarium) and a compass.

Those two gates of Glastonbury Tor pointing to NE 60 degree to Hopton (sunrise on simulation) and SW 240 degree to St. Michael Mount. On a way back in Hopton I could look where pointing my shadow. That was mine first checking, quite logical and realistic, is it ?

In Hopton I didn’t find anything special and magical, too. Or if someone likes Caravan’s Parks I recommend this one placed there, but rather cause of its coast. Of course I couldn’t leave this like that and found some places much pleasant, magical and connected to Ley Line (like St. Mchael church) in that area.

Next place on my list is Bury St. Edmunds. That is very old city and important for English history, I just want to mention history of its patron. It is surprising to learn that St George was not the first patron saint of England. That honour was originally held by St Edmund, or Edmund the Martyr, King of East Anglia in the 9th century AD. Born on Christmas Day 841 AD, Edmund succeeded to the throne of East Anglia in 856. A Christian from birth, he fought alongside King Alfred of Wessex against the pagan Viking and Norse invaders (the Great Heathen Army) until 869/70 when his forces were defeated and Edmund was captured by the Vikings. He was ordered to renounce his faith and share power with the pagan Vikings, but he refused. Edmund was then bound to a tree, shot through by arrows and beheaded. The date was 20th November. His decapitated head is said to have been reunited with its body with the help of a talking wolf who protected the head and then called out “Hic, Hic, Hic” (“Here, Here, Here”) to alert Edmund’s followers. Is it a history or legend rather, I don’t know but …

old remains of the Abbey are monumental, I can’t say much to describe that place, people building those huge structures in early medieval times were very faith, devoted and able to make miracles or this is just a material prove of power of church, rulers and theirs influances. After centuries of ruling the town by Abbey, raiot times, people of town gets the rights and their own government, that was a time of reformation. Todays cathedral looks rather like empty shell filled of remains of pride and greed of bishops use to ruling here. Did I feel anything special, not much beside coincidentally meet Vikings few days before in Glastonbury, funny how they matching to that story about Edmund the Martyr, still recomend to visit this place.

Royston, small inauspicious town close to Cambridge. I found this place vibrating realy positive quiet energy, one of most mystery places on the Ley Line, the Royston Cave. The cave is in shape of pitcher or a bell, on a wall there are bas-reliefs, quite prymitive looks like made by one the same person probably. There is no any evidence about it, and who builded up and what for, first recording appeared in 18 century when was rediscovered. Again we can read a lot of about its history, legends and theory. One of the theory which inspired me now is that about Knights Templar, definitely I’ll follow that track. I’m looking for an experience, but a lot of information coming to me attracting me and leading on a way, lines or track. Am I roam ?

Sinodun Castle so called Wittenham Clups – this one really made my day pleasant, without going into any histories I just enjoyed lovely nature and landscape views. And that was real good experience. The areal dance of Red Kites, that is something what is taking me closer to hevenly beings. The place where I will back to fulfil my energy.

Small man is standing under the Glastonbury Tor, searching angale’s strange. Let it flow on him, fulfill up. Word of advice, answers, a key to a door. Big raven, eye to eye touch. In a dream, Sheela na Gig, fruitful earth, that one who protects against evil eye, from her is given vision. Bane, for which will be capture this sword. Archangel’s, Apollo’s, Arthur’s, Avalons lightening sword.

But step by step, as I said, I’m coming back here and I’ll be back again. Is it here the legendary Avalon isle? Magic place, spring of two White and Blood water, apple’s orchard – abbalon in Welsh is apple tree. If once were here marshland, this hills were like isle.

All around is full of speclial people, pilgrimage, tourist route, people like an ants. Free men, children of Jerusalem, souls in a jurney, mayby here I’ll find that angelic, closest, mine self ?

Dragon path on the compass, route is shown, from where and where to come. From Avebury Stone Circle (dispite I’m searching, assuming I have to go alone, I’ll be back there). To St. Michael Mount and on the way few important points I have, one of those is like a ruins from mine dream … Burrow Mump.

Orientation of this ruins is not correct to Ley Line like in previous example, this is more or less 74 NE degrees, what surprise me. If not, axis East- West is more understable … anyway from the hill whitout effort I can see a Tor on a horizon.

I’m going for a accommodation, affair on a side of track … Exmoore, Porlock, nest of ravens, mother’s womb, Sheela na Gig in the dream comes …

Brenton, here I’m coming back on ley line and continue my journey, finding beautiful hill, just on the edge of Dartmoor, actually, geologically is separated from large granite mass which forms base of most of Dartmoor. In the result of erosion, softer rocks formed from sand and mud around exposed lonely Tor, crowned today by church of Michael de la Rupe (of the Rock).

The name may derive from the Anglo-Saxon ‚brene’ meaning to burn (perhaps relating to beacons being lit on its summit) or the Celtic ‚bryn’ meaning hill or mound.

One story tells of a wealthy merchant who, in gratitude for surviving a terrible storm, vowed to build a church on a prominent landmark. When the Devil heard of this he was angry and visited the site each night throwing the building stones off the tor. The parishioners enlisted the help of the Archangel Michael, who hid behind Cox Tor (I need to visit this beacon next time) one night and threw a huge boulder which hit the Devil between the horns. He subsequently left builders in peace and that’s how we have a temple in this ley line.

Interesting is that similar history I found in Poland on a couple of hills like Ślęża https://niezwyciezony.travel.blog/2019/04/20/przystanek-sleza/  and Chełm https://niezwyciezony.travel.blog/2019/04/25/przystanek-chelm-gora/

Spiritual and mystical experience, insight … lack. Calm, relax, dream about flying … yes, very pleasant. Dimension of space fulfilled with element of air is bringing a message, am I deaf, not listening, learning its language ? Still doubting … still looking on distant hills, turning into the cardinal direction of spiritual path 60-240 degrees, searching a feather from your wing, giving to You my time and waiting for a sign, tracking flight of birds and glides.

The place where are from Minions, yes that’s not a joke, maybe is worth to watch that story again, what might be hidden, what message from the little yellow humanoids, once lived here. Were they been miners or Neolithic builders of stones circles. On my track appears Hurlers Stone Circles next to Minions village. Area is full of ruins, excavations and shafts of Phoenix United Mine in Cornwall, once were mined here copper and tin.

But that wasn’t mine target, or maybe it was, still … this time dimension of space fulfilled with element of earth, stones, boulders, mines, what value it is bringing ? Strength, base, wealth, majesty, imperturbability to the passage of time, still I put up a fight … against passing. Clocks of time arranged in a pattern of stone circles lost their hands, I’m not able to count the time, I don’t see a wisdom of passed away Minion’s residents. Only saves me extensive views from Stowes Hill … what was stowes beyond the horizon ? – all discover, under the earth ? – all excavated, into the stone circles ? – only time knows.

On mine list is Lostwithiel, town which I don’t know why is there, on the ley line map, I was trying find a shape – stone dolmen from the map. Few shapes which I only found are: Rostormel Castle or Great Bridge of Lostwithiel, river Fowey, old buildings, alleys. Tired body, silence in the soul , quiet town.

Though one thought came to me now, what was mean the St. Mary Chapel in the ruin of the castle … and other threads from my journey are bound. I stepped on a path for fiery, bright sword, followed Archangel Michael, Niezwyciezony. To find masculine, solar energy (my Master always taught us that feminine is solar energy, our culture saying opposite ?) but this path showing me every step other face – Mother’s, Feminine. I shouldn’t be surprised, this path is union of intertwined energy, Mary, Earth, Sheela na Gig lively dancing with Archangel Michael. Still I don’t understand is that an illusion or something real is happening. Other thing is that I’m experience those revelation rather out off mine track, affair on a side, this time St. Nectans Waterfalls. And this is story which I found inspiring me, same path, so great power and unification on her spiral path …  http://www.spiralpathpilgrimages.com/the-spiral-path-blog/mary-and-michael-sacred-union-of-the-feminine-and-masculine#comments

In this last this year road to the Mount, there is a one more place which I would like to visit, feel it, meditate it. Yes, the meditation is an essence on this path, thanks to James Low. Menacusa Well, beautiful place, a garden (remember about garden, that is a place where you come from – tekst of one polish song) …, leave behind even that much, trees and bushes, flowers and waterfalls, life and garden. Where is a water, spring or waterfall, strait I fell her energy, Mother Eart, to her mine appreciation.

The last road to the Mount. The Horoskop https://niezwyciezony.travel.blog/2019/06/16/niebo-nad-nami/ is on Monday, 9:30, 17/06/2019, this is a full Moon, the place is Penzance in Cornwall, in particularly interesting me placed next to it the St. Michael Mount, mine current direction …https://niezwyciezony.travel.blog/st-michael-mount-2/

THIS IS NOT THE END
