On 2001 in the Montevecchia Regional Park and Curone Valley, in the province of Lecco (Italy), during an aerial survey were discovered by the architect Vincenzo Di Gregorio three “pyramids” with steps having the base, sides and slope identical, difficult thing to find in nature.
The highest – which measures 150 meters – would be a gigantic pyramid, higher even than that of Cheops (146 m) on the Giza plateau in Egypt, and the pyramids of Giza those of Montevecchia have in common an unusual approach similar the three stars of Orion’s belt. Today they are completely covered by grass and vegetation, and have the appearance of natural hills. In reality are obvious traces of the stone blocks put together by man and have been the subject of study and research by numerous experts.
In this video I flew my Mini 2 over the pyramid's area.
