The heavy reconnaissance and strike drone Sirius, developed by the Russian company Kronstadt, is capable of carrying both guided and unguided munitions. This was reported by a source in the Russian defense industry.
As part of the test program "Sirius" started flying. The drone has already been tested for interaction with a manned aviation, ground systems, as well as with and without various weapons. It is not yet known how long the tests will last, but the military wanted to receive serial samples of the Sirius from 2023. The need for such drones the special operation in Ukraine showed that ours are badly lacking in shock UAVs.

The Sirius attack drone is a heavier variant of the Orion with satellite control and the ability to interact with manned aircraft. Due to the equipping with two engines "Sirius" has a greater range and greater payload. Refers to medium-altitude long-range drones. Structurally, it is an aircraft of a normal aerodynamic configuration with a thin fuselage, a large-span straight wing and a V-shaped plumage. The power plant includes two turboprop engines.
Wingspan - 23 m, length - up to 9 m. Maximum takeoff weight - 2 - 2,5 tons (preliminary), of which 1 ton is fuel. Payload - 450 kg (external sling - 300 kg). Flight altitude - 7 thousand meters, cruising speed - 180 km / h.
