Summary[edit]

Description USS Florida with the Oil tanker USS Northwestern along side. I can find no record of a Fleet Oiler by this name but it has a commissioning pennant on the bow so it may be an unlisted temporary Auxiliary ship from the WW1 era ( it may not be an oiler as the Florida was still using coal as a fuel until 1926, maybe water or gasoline for the small boats, ect?)
