The hood arrived noticeably deformed and did not turn on after installation. I don’t know why I attached it without checking it (
This website does not want to provide a new hood in exchange for their junk, instead they should send me a new cover and spare parts. Lego!! I’ll first sort it out and then assemble it, all for my own money, I hired myself for two days for 200 bucks. I am delighted!!
Chat operator Abi-Gaye D. deserves special attention. He didn’t answer for 20 minutes, and then he said he was checking something. after another 20 minutes he said that they would send me spare parts, which I knew without him. I would like a new hood to replace this junk. And after another 20 minutes he says that the spare parts will arrive on May 16th. BUT I DIDN'T ASK THIS! It's been an hour, but the website says quick help

First, this hood looks fantastic. I upgraded all the appliances in a rental apartment to stainless steel, and this fits right in. It works great, is quiet, and the price was incredibly reasonable.

I took off one star because it is tricky to install. In theory, there are keyhole slots, so you should be able to put the mounting screws in pace in the cabinet, and then slide the hood on and tighten the screws down. In practice, my cabinets, like pretty much all cabinets I have ever seen, have a 1" deep lip around the edges on the underside. That means the provided screws are not long enough to reach the bottom of the cabinet itself, since the hood is pressed up against the lip. Also there is no template provided, so it would take some pretty exact measuring to preset the screws in all four corners. In the end, I just had someone hold the hood in place, and used some longer screws to just zip into the underside of the cabinet body. It's a little hard to reach up and over the stove to get the screw gun angled correctly, so it was a bit frustrating, but I was able to finish up in about 20 minutes. Highly recommended product, just know that the installation might take some finessing.

I've been meaning to replace my range hood for quite some time and am SO GLAD I finally did. I had been living with an old mustard yellow colored hood from the 1970's that never got updated when I replaced the matching stove a few years ago. It was still working, but the fan was SO loud! I finally decided to take on the project of replacing it and found this hood. The install was relatively painless considering I've never installed something like this before. The instructions were slightly confusing to me at a couple points, but I looked up a video on YouTube to supplement it and was able to install within a couple of hours. The worst parts of the process were trying to get the stuck screws out of the old one, and then trying to drill this one in to place since the surface I was installing to was not completely level, and I didn't have any help to hold it in position. (If you can get help holding it up while installing, I'd highly recommend it!) But once I got it installed I was so pleased! It's nice and quiet, the light is bright, and it looks great. The few people I showed were surprised that it was such a reasonable price too! I'm disappointed in myself that I didn't replace it much sooner! :-)

NOTE this is the ductless version of the hood.

Great looking range hood, and not too expensive! This is easy to replace on your own. Here are the steps I took:1: turn power off at breaker box, make sure you are certain power is off before proceeding. 2: unscrew little black screw holding metal cover that the light wires come out of to expose wires 3: on old unit, unscrew wiring nuts on white, black wires and loosen ground screw 4: loosen four screws under cabinet holding old vent in place, move old unit aside 5: on new unit use flathead screw driver to bend out wiring plug on the hole wiring will pass through- just insert screw driver and rock back and forth until it pops loose. Look at the old unit to find which one to remove 6: hang unit by four screws in corner (see my photo) 7: hook wiring up just like your old one, white to white, black to black, etc. 8. Screw wiring cover in place with one black screw 9: installold light bulb (I used the one from my old unit. 10: turn power on and test unit, both fan and light. 11: step back and marvel at how much money you saved by doing it yourself, and revel in the praise from your spouse or significant other.

This might seem intimidating but it was easy. One didn't come with a light bulb so get one on hand. The filter mine came with seemed nicer than others, it had a metal front and blue filter material on the back. The fan isn't super strong but I bought this for looks mostly. Hopefully this review is helpful, I didn't get anything for writing it and paid for this product myself.
