Abstract
The invention relates to the use of basic amino acids in aqueous hair treatment products, for protecting hair from heat damage. L-histidine is particularly well suited to this purpose, in preparations for shaping and fixing the hair using hot air. The concentration of said basic amino acids in the preparation is preferably 0.01-1 wt. % and they preferably have a pH value of 4.5-7. Preparations for fixing and shaping hair, containing 0.1-5.0 wt. % of a film-forming polymerisate and 0.05-2 wt. % of a basic amino acid in an aqueous or aqueous-alcoholic solution are particularly preferable.

Die Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung basischer Aminosäuren als Komponenten zum Schutz des Haars vor Hitzeschäden in wäßrigen Zubereitungen zur Behandlung der Haare. Obwohl mit L-Histidin bereits bei einer Konzentration von 0,1 Gew.% eine starke Verringerung der Haarschädigung erzielt wird, kann die basische Aminosäure generell in einer Konzentration von 0,01 - 1 Gew.% in den Zubereitungen enthalten sein. Bevorzugt ist die Verwendung dabei vor allem in solchen Zubereitungen, die der Formung und Festigung der Haare unter Verwendung von Heißluft
dienen. Die erfindungsgemäßen wäßrigen Zubereitungen weisen bevorzugt einen pH- Wert von 4,5-7 auf und enthalten daher bevorzugt eine dafür geeignete wasserlösliche Säure oder ein Puffergemisch, das diesen pH- Wert stabilisiert. Geeignete Säuren sind z. B. die niedermolekularen organischen Säuren, wie z. B. Solche Zubereitungen werden als Haarfestlegemittel in Form von Lotionen, Emulsionen, Aerosol-Schaumpräparaten oder Pumpsprays zubereitet. Vor ihrer Anwendung auf dem Haar wird das Haar in Form gelegt, danach mit Heißluft getrocknet und durch die Wirkung des Wassers und des filmbildenden Polymers in Form gehalten.
Als filmbildende Polymere eignen sich z. B. Claims
1. Verwendung basischer Aminosäuren als Komponenten zum Schutz des Haars vor Hitzeschäden in wäßrigen Haarbehandlungsmitteln.1. Use of basic amino acids as components for protecting the hair from heat damage in aqueous hair treatment compositions.
2. Verwendung gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Aminosäure L-Histidin verwendet wird.2. Use according to claim 1, characterized in that L-histidine is used as the amino acid.
3. Verwendung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Zubereitung der Formung und Festigung der Haare unter Verwendung von Heißluft dient.3.
