Leicester Go Down Fighting Against Atleti

Leicester were deserving of their credit after restricting Atletico Madrid to a 1-0 scoreline at the Vicente Calderon last Wednesday, especially when considering Antoine Griezmann's penalty shouldn't have been awarded.

Replays showed Foxes manager Craig Shakespeare has a right to be upset with the call due to the fact the foul it was awarded for occurred outside the area, as shown in highlights provided by BT Sport:

Leicester have rediscovered an assured touch in defence since interim manager Shakespeare took over from sacked chief Claudio Ranieri, although the boss recently said captain Wes Morgan remains a doubt for Tuesday's showdown:

The King Power Stadium may not be as intimidating as some of those grounds Atleti are used to visiting, but Leicester proved en route to last season's Premier League triumph they're not affected by nerves themselves.

The only English team left in the competition deserved a draw in Madrid, and although they may be able to taste victory in the second leg, the away goals rule may ruin their hopes of sealing a place in the semi-finals.

Prediction: Leicester City 2-1 Atletico Madrid (AET) (Atletico Madrid advance)

Barcelona Fail to Produce Miracle No. 2

A 6-1 victory at the Parc des Princes last month was all Barcelona needed to pull off one of the most daring comebacks in Champions League history, but Juventus are not the same team as Paris Saint-Germain.

What's more, it doesn't help the Blaugrana's case that they aren't performing to their best of late, and after edging Real Sociedad 3-2 on Saturday, FourFourTwo's Kristan Heneage expressed doubt in Barcelona's chances:

That's not to say manager Luis Enrique's side won't go hell for leather in their visit to Turin this Wednesday, however, as the boss indicated Barca will be risking everything for the victory, per ESPN FC's Samuel Marsden:

Juventus have long built their success on being able to defend first and attack second, meaning this Wednesday's clash could be bread and butter for the defensive contingent of Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci and Andrea Barzagli.

Soaking up pressure is what the Bianconeri do for a living, and while Barca's attack may be fierce—particularly at the Camp Nou—Juve will have enough about them to see themselves into the last four.

Prediction: Barcelona 3-1 Juventus (Juventus advance)
