A closer look at the body paints that caused a sensation at the Diesel fall/winter 2022 fashion show.
On the first day of Milan Fashion Week, Glenn Martens presented a collection for Diesel, in a setting like a sexy denim wonderland. The makeup matched with strong pieces including all denim outfits, micro skirts and deconstructed ensembles. While some models sported fluorescent pigments along the hairline, dripping on the forehead, others wore glitter in clusters under the eyes. The Y2K spirit was channeled in the full head-to-toe body paint that matched the silhouettes. These striking looks were sometimes even sprayed with glitter, raising the bar for runway makeup.
