Heidi Van Horne

Los Angeles based published Photographer Heidi Van Horne is known for her vintage-meets-modern style and love of classic vehicles, which are incorporated into her aesthetic on both sides of the lens.

Since documenting everything as a child with a camera while serving for multiple years as the high school drama club Scrapbook Historian by day and shooting video of her skater friends and boyfriends by night, capturing compelling images and telling stories thru the lens has always been a passion for Heidi Van Horne.

Her photographs have been seen published on the cover of magazines such as Kustom Magazine (FRA), Chop & Roll (IT), Retrokitten, and inside Car Culture Deluxe, Ol Skool Rodz, Garage Magazine, and regularly seen in top Hearst newspapers across the Untied States: Houston Chronicle, Seattle PI, My San Antonio, Beaumont Enterprise, New Haven Register, San Francisco Gate, Connecticut Post, Fairfield Citizen, Middletown Press, Laredo Morning Times, Greenwich Time, Stamford Advocate, Albany times Union.

Her first solo photography printing was a small press of "The Adventures of Meg & Liv", a short story book in the style of a fashion magazine spread - meets ghost story, featuring her words and her photography of models Olivia Dante and Meghan Muzerie, shot on location at a ghost town in central Texas.

Her photography has been on display in group shows in Houston, Los Angeles and Ventura, as well as a successful solo show and six month installation in her hometown of Houston, Texas, at Bombshell Shop in the popular and historic Heights district.

Currently, she is shooting and working on her book, "Her Ride", about women and their relationship with their vehicles, featuring every day car lovers, top burlesque and pinup models and their classic rides, including pinup superstar Sabina Kelley, as well as professional female race car drivers, like Alexis DeJoria, and women mechanics and builders.
