Editing a Digital Photo in Photoshop(2020)

A PhotoShop tutorial for Digital Art teachers to use for an entry level Digital photography class.
This is a basic step-by-step guide on enhancing a digital photo using Photoshop CS5, CS6 or CC. It is based on a PC environment, but can also be used with Mac.
It includes Value/Contrast, Editing, Sharpening and Color Enhancement.
Students should have a basic knowledge of PhotoShop and it's work area and tools, but this lesson is designed for entry level digital art/photo students. Students should have a digital photo of their own to use to complete this lesson.
These steps can take anywhere from 1 - 3 days depending on the complexity of the photo. This handout is meant to be used throughout the school year as a guide every time a new photo is used.
