Lea Michele is less than three months away from saying "I do" with fiancé Zandy Reich, and her body is already toned to perfection for her big day. The former Glee star showed off her fantastic physique on the red carpet of the 2018 InStyle Awards in Los Angeles on October 22, and jaws seriously dropped. But get this: She claims her hot bod isn’t the result of any bridal bootcamp or trendy crash diet—but has everything to do with her overall commitment to healthy living.

Michele has a no-fuss approach to healthy eating. “It’s not rocket science, it’s the basics,” she recently told Us magazine. Aside from sleep, she says that the foundation of her health routine starts with hydration. “The first thing I do when I wake up is I pour a big glass of lemon water to just really flush my system and start the day right,” she explains.

A trendy veggie juice is also part of her morning ritual “Celery juice is so incredibly good for your body but it’s actually for your liver and it’s a great cleanse first thing in the morning,” she reveals. “I’ve seen it improve my digestion so much, so that’s another little trick that I’ve been doing in the morning as well.”

Should you try adding a glass of celery juice to your morning ritual, too? Lisa De Fazio, MS, RD, author of The Women's Health Big Book of Smoothies & Soups, recently explained to Prevention that it may not be a bad idea. Celery isn't only abundant in enzymes and antioxidants, but it's also packed with essential minerals a vitamins such as folate, potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin C, and vitamin K. It will also keep you well-hydrated, as it’s mostly made up of water.

When it comes to nutrition, the pescatarian's approach is super clean. “Every single thing that I put into my body is to nourish and fuel my body,” she explains. “I’ve always felt that food is fuel so what you’re eating is going to help your body. So I don’t eat junk food, I don’t eat processed food. I keep only fresh and healthy ingredients in my home so I can feel my absolute best.”

As for exercise, Michele mixes it up, taking one or two hot yoga classes at CorePower Yoga and two SoulCycle classes per week. She also enjoys taking her workout outdoors. “I hike all the time,” she explained. “We have so many great trails here on the West Coast so I love being outdoors and I love getting a workout outside.”

The best thing about her super healthy lifestyle is that because she's already in great shape, Michele didn't feel the need to increase her workout game in preparation for her big day. “If you’re always taking good care of yourself, and if you’re always eating right…then no matter what comes up, you don’t feel like you need to adjust or increase or anything,” she says. “My goal is to keep on this great track that I feel like I’m already on, and then I know I’ll feel great on my wedding day.”

Thanks for the #fitspo, Lea Michele!
