Tambaqui, pintado and pirarucu: Are Brazil's native farmed fish ready for a resurgence?

Production of species such as tambaqui, pintado and pirarucu has fallen over the past four years years as producers, discouraged by lower prices, placed fewer fish in ponds and cages.
