TVS Motor Company today launched the BS6-compliant versions of Apache RTR 160 4V and Apache RTR 200 4V. The 2020 TVS Apache RTR 4V range comes with an advanced engine having the fuel injection technology, with an in-built glide through traffic capability.
TVS Apache RTR 4V BS6 Engine
TVS Apache RTR 160 4V BS6 is powered by a 159.7 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, oil-cooled engine that delivers 16.02 PS and 14.12 Nm of peak torque. The motor is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. TVS Apache RTR 200 4V BS6 comes with a 197.75 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, oil-cooled engine that develops 20.5 PS and 16.8 Nm of maximum torque. The mill is offered with a 5-speed gearbox.
TVS Apache RTR 4V BS6 Specifications
TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V sit on a double cradle split synchro frame. The bikes come with telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the rear. Both the motorcycles get 17-inch front and rear tyres. Apache RTR 160 4V has a 270 mm disc at the front and a 130 mm drum at the rear with a single-channel ABS. Apache RTR 200 4V boasts of a disc each at the front (270 mm) and rear (240 mm), and dual-channel ABS with rear-wheel lift-off protection control.

The 2020 TVS Apache RTR 4V range comes with race graphics for a sportier feel. There is a new LED headlamp with claw-styled position lamp. Other features include 'feather touch' start, wave bite ignition key and aerodynamic claw mirrors. Apache RTR 160 4V also gets a new dual-tone seat. Apache RTR 200 4V boasts of the SmartXonnect technology.

The 2020 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is available in three colour options -- Racing Red, Metallic Blue and Knight Black. On the other hand, the 2020 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V comes in two paint schemes -- Gloss Black and Pearl White.
