TVS Apache series reaches global sales milestone of 5 million units

TVS Motor Company today announced that the TVS Apache series has reached a global sales milestone of 5 million units. First launched in 2005, the Apache nameplate is now present in over 60 countries and is claimed to have become one of the fastest-growing sports brands across the world.

The TVS Apache has been developed around the 'Track To Road' philosophy. Over the years, the motorcycle has seen upgrades like segment-first race-tuned fuel injection, ride modes, dual-channel ABS, race-tuned slipper clutch and SmartXonnect.

The TVS Apache series offers performance-led motorcycles across two categories -- Naked and Super Sport.

The RTR (racing throttle response) series comprises the Apache RTR 160, Apache RTR 160 4V, Apache RTR 180 and Apache RTR 200 4V, positioned in the Naked motorcycle category.

The company marked its entry in the Super Sport category in 2017 with the Apache RR 310 Race Replica. It introduced the BTO (built-to-order) platform for the Apache RR 310 in 2021.
