Ah, the glamorous life of a fashion editor. Sure, there are celebrity-filled fashion week parties, lovely dinners and conversations with the most creative minds in the world to be had. And there’s also Whole Foods, which happens to be a mere few blocks away from the Lincoln Center tents. And while the market’s prepared meal boxes are a Fashion Week survival secret of this fashion editor in particular (we have to keep up our kale intake even while traveling, obviously), it seems that Anna Della Russo — the beloved global street style figure, creative consultant and Vogue Japan editor-at-large — considers the health food grocery store to be a staple during her fashion week travels, too.
On Tuesday night, we spotted the style star picking up a cart full of edible accoutrement after blogger Chiara Ferragni‘s Blonde Salad party, to which she wore Oscar de la Renta. For her grocery trip, the fashion legend changed into an eyelet skirt and Nike trainers. She also has been spotted at much more enthralling places besides the produce aisle, including the shows of Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Rodarte and Diesel Black Gold.
And there you have it. Really famous fashion editors buy overpriced organic fruit to bring up to their hotel room just like us. Literally.
