Medical Anatomist. He developed a remarkable technique for the conservation of corpses known as parafinación. He was hired by the University of Cordoba (1925 to 1932) to teach students the method and greatly aided the expansion of university anatomical museum. He embalmed the body of musician Manuel de Falla, who died in the city of Alta Gracia, Córdoba in Argentina, and later transferred to Spain. In 1932 he returned to Spain to return to Argentina in 1947 as cultural attache. In 1952, Eva Perón died and he was responsible for embalming her body. The work was done between 1952 and 1953, and was considered his masterpiece.
