Sudeki, is an underrated gem. Don't get me wrong, the 6th Gen clunkyness is ever present. Especially in the combat, which is somewhat stiff. However, for me that's not a deal breaker, and behind all that is a solid ARPG. Now, is the game on par with Fable, Morrowwind, the KOTOR's, & Jade Empire? Nah, but there's still a great time to be had here. The graphics & presentation are beautiful for the era, and the world is fun to explore. The story & voice acting are also surprisingly very solid. If you own an original Xbox, and are an Action/Adventure/RPG fan, then Sudeki is a must own!

Sudeki is a good real time Action Rpg. One of the coolest points of the game is it can be played as a 3rd person hack em' up or a 1st person shooter & swap from 1 mode to another by changing characters in real time at any time during a battle. As a 1st person shooter (as a scientist with a blaster or Alish the girl on the box art using a staff to launch magic) its kinda limited playing similar to the old doom games in the since you never need to look up or down. But it works as theres not really "any other Real FPS RPGs out" to compare it to or against.(that i know of) Your refire rate depends on the weapon used some weapons may be fast & kinda weak others may be slow but cause radius damage or penetrate through multiple enemies. One of my favorites is a mid speed staff with short range that blasts out a small radius but multi target electric burst. It looks nice & gives that shotgun kinda feel. I must mention this game gives a fairly good FPS feeling as you can "gib" the monsters unlike most rpgs. As a 3rd person hack em' up this game is done very well, its not the get close to a monster & jam on the attack button till its dead combat most action Rpgs offer. The battle system for 3rd person is based on timing intensive button presses to do a combo more like a fighting game than standard Rpg combat. This is sweet & tends to create a bit of tension in the battles played this way. I may expand this review, as there are many more good points to note in this game. Numerical Ratings 1-10 higher is better, Game play 9.5 Creative-Climax entertainment is So Under rated as a developer. Graphics 10 looks better than many xbox titles ive seen. Music sorry its been awhile since i played & dont remember/my xbox died. Story 9 its an RPG... This game is "NOT LISTED on the 360 backward compatability list". I'll close now by saying if you have an original xbox that still works, This game is cheap & worth the price to say the least.Read full review
I decided to buy this game after my brother hinted that I would like it. I like mission oriented RPG's. I was looking for a game that played like the PS game Legend Of Dragoon (Which I LOVE!!). This is it! What's different about this is that there are two fighting styles among the four playable characters. Two characters fight hand to hand (user enter's combos with the controller) and then two are 1'st person shooter style. I, personally SUCK at 1'st person shooters but since the party splits up at times, I have no choice but to get better. The only thing I can't quite grasp is Elco's voice. He looks asian but he has almost a German accent...strange... The animation is okay and full of color. Not your cutting edge graphics but for this type of game-play it's expected. At times the scenery is too dark and I have to turn off all the lights in the room to actually be able to see. Over all, I really like this game!Read full review
I bought this game because it was described as an RPG, and of course, the girl on the cover. I was not disappointed. Like I mentioned in the title, this game plays a lot like Diablo, (PC, 1996) and the details remind me of Dead or Alive: Extreme Beach Volleyball. (Original XBOX, 2003) Real-time combat allows you to control one of 4 heroes, while the other 3 carry out the A.I. scripts you have assigned for them. Each character has special assignments they can complete to get through dungeons, such as moving blocks, revealing hidden items, climbing walls, and using a jet-pack like the Rocketeer. You can also assign heal potions on the directional pad. This game is cheap...I paid $12 including shipping for it new still in the shrinkwrap. If you like RPG's, feminine sex appeal doesn't bother you and you still have an original xbox, (or the 360 is backwards compatible,) then I can personally guarantee this game will not bore you. PROS: 1. Great graphics and sounds 2. Tutorial on how to navigate and control your character upon the start of a new game. 3. Easy to use menus 4. Easy to train 5. Interesting plot 6. The teleporting trader "Kamo" will allow you to buy some strong weapons early in the game, If you have the patience to train. CONS: 1. Cannot cast all beneficial spells outside of combat 2. Carrying capacities are very few on some healing items (5 max!!) 3. Elco's Jet-pack will only allow you to move horizontallyRead full review
