Program Description

Event Details

Vinyl toy design and painting combines techniques and styles of graffiti and "lowbrow" art to create and transform small sculptures. Instructor Shawn Bowman will visit with Denver artist Mike Graves about his work, and attendees will learn to customize our own collectible piece in this hands-on virtual workshop hosted by the RiNo Art District and the Denver Public Library.

Check out these examples of Munny at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Registration is required below, and is limited. Once you register, you will get an email with information on picking up your supplies from the Pauline Robinson Branch Library. And even if you can't make it to the program, check out the munny design template that's attached to this event!

Munny dolls by Shawn Bowman. One is pink with yellow hair holding a sign that reads "Welcome to Denver," and a white doll with a multicolored head holding a sign that reads, "Take me to the metaverse."
