Description

Trajectories of slowly escaping points outside of the Mandelbrot set. Iteration count between 50k and 2M; upper boundary magnitude 2. Trajectories of points with iteration count between 50k and 100k have been coloured magenta to give a colour palette similar to cherry blossoms.

Also available in a variety of other colours. I will re-render (the points are randomly sampled so each render produces a unique image) and/or change the colour palette upon request (send me an Email).

Hello dear visitor! I create high resolution renderings of mathematical functions. I do very little to no post processing in order to preserve the natural beauty of how numbers behave under certain transformations. As such, although at first glance many of my renderings look symmetrical, they usually contain subtle asymmetries and complexities that reflect the ordered and simultaneously chaotic behaviour of numbers. In many cases, all that you see is the result of only a few lines of code; even the most intricate looking renderings emerge from relatively simple instructions.

Upon request, I will re-render images with new parameters or use alternative colour palettes in order to give you something unique. If you're not sure how detailed an image is under greater magnification, I will send you a magnified sample region. I will also take suggestions for new visualizations that are not in my gallery yet.
