The 2009 Battle in Seattle is almost here. Don't miss your chance to watch your Western Oregon University football team will take on Great Northwest Athletic Conference rival Central Washington, Saturday, Oct. 17 at Qwest Field.

As an added bonus, the WOU Alumni Association invites you to join your fellow alumni and WOU fans for an exclusive pre-game tailgate gathering at F.X. McRory’s Steak Chop & Oyster House, across the street from Qwest Field. This event will be from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and include free appetizers and giveaways for all attendees, but RSVPs are required. Last season, both Western Oregon-Central Washington games came down to a touchdown and this year the teams were picked one-two in the GNAC preseason coaches' poll. This will also mark the first neutral site meeting between WOU and CWU since 1937 in Yakima, Wash.
