Record Book:  Set UL season records for yards passing (2,958), passing touchdowns (23), completion percentage (.628), passing efficiency (153.6), total offense (3,444) and touchdowns responsible for (26) as a junior. . . also ranks fourth in total plays (462). . . set a single game record with 492 yards of total offense vs. San Diego State in the New Orleans Bowl and is sixth with 430 yards at Western Kentucky (10/22). . . his 470 yards passing vs. San Diego State was the second-highest total in school history, three short of the school mark. . . also had 419 yards passing at WKU (sixth best), making him the only player with multiple 400-yard games in a career. . . tossed for TD’s vs. North Texas (10/15) and La.-Monroe (11/5), one short of the school record. . . his career-high 32 completions vs. WKU was fifth best. . . ranks fourth in school history with 27 career touchdown passes.

2011 (Junior):  First team All-Louisiana and Louisiana Offensive Player of the Year by the Louisiana Sports Writer’s Association. .  . second team All-Sun Belt. . . shared team offensive MVP honors with Ladarius Green. . . led the Sun Belt and ranked 14th nationally in passing efficiency (153.6). . . was 11th in the league in rushing, and second among quarterbacks (486 total) . . . started in 11 of the 13 games, coming off the bench to play against both Kent State and Nicholls State. . . twice earned honorable mention Quarterback Performer of the Week honors by collegefootballperformance.com, receiving the nod after the North Texas (10/15) and La.-Monroe (11/5) games. . . named the College Sport Madness Quarterback of the Week three times, picking up the honor for the FIU, North Texas and La.-Monroe games. . . named the offensive player of the week by the Louisiana Sportswriter’s Association following the FIU an Florida Atlantic games. . . entered the Nicholls State game in the third quarter and engineered two scoring drives en route to cement the win. . . regained the starting job the following week at FIU (9/24), throwing for 221 yards and three touchdowns and rushing for 86 yards to put a strangle hold on the starting berth. . . missed most of the Troy game (10/8) after suffering a sprained ankle on the first series of the game. . . threw just six interceptions on the year, including none in the five games at home. . .threw 157 passes over a six-game stretch without an interception early in the season. . . closed year by going 24-for-40 for 470 yards and three touchdowns in win over San Diego State, including three-for-three for 44 yards on game-winning drive in the final 30 seconds. . . earned third letter.

2010 (Sophomore):  Played in 10 games, six coming at quarterback, with starts at FAU and vs. FIU. . . took snaps from the wildcat formation in several games. . . second in rushing yards (280) and tied for top honors in rushing touchdowns (5). . . was 34-of-65 for 440 yards with three passing touchdowns and added 43 carries for 198 yards and two rushing touchdowns in two games as a starter. . . was 21-for-36 for a season-high 254 yards and two passing TDs in first career start at FAU. . . added 15 rushes for 86 yards and a TD, with a long run of 54 yards against the Owls. . . ran for a career-best 112 yards vs. FIU with the help of a 55-yard touchdown sprint (only 100-yard game of the season by the Cajuns).

2009 (Freshman):  Played eight games as one of the backup quarterbacks and on special teams. . . did not attempt a pass until season finale. . . finished 9-of-17 passing for 119 yards and a touchdown in the fourth quarter vs. Troy. . . had a one-yard touchdown run at Arkansas State.
2008 (Redshirt):  Redshirted, did not play.

High School:  First team all-state selection as a senior at Lutcher High, playing for coach Tim Detiller. . . threw for 2,743 yards and 30 touchdowns as a senior in 2007 to become the first ever recipient of the Warrick Dunn  Player of the Year Award, which is presented by WAFB-TV in Baton Rouge. . . also named to the all-state team after passing for 2,785 yards and 31 touchdowns as a junior in 2006. . . led team to the Class 3A title (2006) and District 10-3A title (2007).
