Lunar New Year
On the eve of the holiday, the Triad fighters are preparing another risky attack on the Last Territories. Only you can stop them, but you won’t be alone in this fight: the Triad Rebels will come to your aid.
One of the Rebels will be waiting for you near the windmill in your Shelter: talk to him to participate in the event.
Search the enemies you’ve killed and complete daily quests to receive the triad Keys. Use them to open the Triad Cargo in which the fighters transport their gear.
You can receive a limited number of Keys for killing enemies per day: the limit is displayed in the Cargo window. You won’t get Keys for killing moose and Ark specimens, and for destroying turrets, altars, and aberrations.
By opening Cargo you’ll score points. After you accumulate 2000 points a special reward from the Triad Boss’s Cargo will become available for you.
The Lunar New Year will last till February 12. When the event ends all unused Keys will be deleted.
Key Hunt
Another way to get the Triad Keys is to complete the Lady Dragon’s tasks: to clean up the Triad basements. They’ve appeared at all common locations from the Quiet Grove to the Screaming Forest. Remember the Triad basements are available only in the solo mode.
After you’ve cleaned up the basement in the red location or the Screaming Forest you can summon the Golden Dragon: a fearsome and dangerous Triad leader. Be careful: he can blind you, moreover, he is immune to the slowdown, paralysis, horror effects, and Goliath Provocation.
Defeat the Golden Dragon to get valuable prizes. Note: you can summon the Golden Dragon an unlimited number of times. But you will receive only two rewards per day for killing him: one reward for each combat mode.
Triad Challenge
To participate in the Challenge, tell the Triad Rebel the password you’ll know from Lady Dragon. The rules are easy: kill any enemies except moose, Ark specimens, turrets, altars, and aberrations and get points. The more points you score the higher your place in the leaderboard is and the more rewards you get.
Using legendary and perfect Triad weapons or any Specialist’s weapons will earn you three times more points.
The last Challenge round will end on February 12. After its end, you’ll have 2 additional days to exchange the Triad emblems you’ve scored.
Lunar New Year rewards
Some of the Rebels are ready to join you in the fight against the Triad. Fire Dragon, the warrior armed with the fire rocket launcher, is one of the volunteers. He deals fire AOE damage and allows your weapon to deal fire damage to your opponents as well.
To summon this ally, open the Triad Cargo. There you’ll find ally fragments: assemble 200 to make Fire Dragon a part of your team.
The unique ally, Dragon’s Claw, became available during the event: search for Alpha-Coders in the Challenge rewards to summon him.
During the holiday you’ll be able to craft Black Dragon’s armor set, perfect weapons, and a new Specialist’s weapon, Lei Gong Pistols.
Themed triad decorations and the helper, Black Dragon, also became available for crafting: search for craft resources in the Triad Cargo and in the challenge rewards.
Equipment disassembling
Striders, we know much you’ve been waiting for this moment, going through your equipment supplies: items disassembling mechanics have appeared in Dawn of Zombies! Turn your surplus weapons and armor into useful resources with a new bench for your Shelter.
Gaffer will contact all striders over level 40 who’ve started searching for Luka: complete his task to get access to the disassembly workbench. Build it to be able to disassemble weapons and armor and get common or rare resources and special items for exchange with traders.
The disassembly workbench has 3 levels: the higher the level the more rare items are available for disassembling. Note the speed of disassembling depends on the item’s rarity. Common equipment is disassembled faster than legendary items.
To start the bench work put the item you are going to disassemble and the tools of matching rarity into corresponding slots. The information about the chance of getting resources will appear In the lower slots. As soon as the disassembling ends the item you’ve put will disappear and you’ll be able to take resources from the bench.
As a result of disassembling, you’ll get resources and spare parts of corresponding rarity. Exchange them with Vein for the chests with more rare armor and weapons.
The higher the durability of the item you disassemble, the higher the chance to get resources for disassembling. The detailed information about how the bench works is available at any moment, just tap the question mark button in the upper left corner of the screen.
