This Ford F-Series 1957-1960 got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1957 Ford F-100 is a short-bed pickup that was acquired from its original owner by the selling dealer, Gas Monkey Garage, in April 2022. The truck is powered by a 272ci V8 and is finished in two-tone red and white over black vinyl. Equipment includes a three-speed manual transmission, chrome bumpers, 15″ steel wheels, an AM radio, and a heater. This F-100 Styleside is now offered as part of the Gas Monkey Garage Collection at no reserve in Dallas, Texas with a clean Louisiana title.
The F-100 was redesigned for 1957 with a streamlined profile that included a full-width hood and a standard Styleside bed. This example is finished in two-tone Torch Red and Colonial White, and features chrome bumpers, a driver-side mirror, and a “V8” badge on the grille. Corrosion is present on the trim and body panels, the windows are delaminated, and the side windows are cracked. The seller notes perforations in the bed floor.
Red-painted 15″ steel wheels are wrapped in H78 Cushion Ride tires. The right front suspension spring is broken.
The cab features a bench seat upholstered in black vinyl. Equipment includes suspended pedals, vent windows, an AM radio, a heater, and a glove compartment. Rust is present on the doors and floor, and the upholstery and weatherstripping are deteriorated.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 100-mph speedometer, warning lights, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 54k miles, approximately 20 of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The 272ci V8 sends power to the rear wheels through a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. The air cleaner is missing, and the seller states that the truck will need to be completely inspected and serviced.
