The website Mediaite is reporting that this week's episode of "The Simpsons" features Homer Simpson as a fracking salesman, "explaining why allowing hydraulic fracturing in Springfield will help each member of the town in their own specific way," according to the site.

"Some folks will tell you fracking's no good," Homer says in the preview clip, "but what they don't tell you is that hydraulic fracturing creates jobs." There is no word on whether San Benito County's Measure J is mentioned in the episode — though we doubt it.
