Dr. Jane Goodall Community Youth Lecture

Join Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES) for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear from Dr. Jane Goodall. Dr. Goodall will visit the Roaring Fork Valley on September 11 and 12 to inspire our youth to become activated and empowered conservation-minded citizens in their daily lives. Her time in the valley will include visits to local schools, as well as a community youth lecture in Aspen at Harris Concert Hall on September 11 at 5:30 pm.

Dr. Goodall—a scientist, ethologist, and conservationist—has dedicated her life’s work to meaningful, positive change that creates a better world for people, other animals, and the planet we share. Known for her groundbreaking studies of wild chimpanzees in Gombe Stream National Park, Tanzania, Dr. Goodall’s impact goes far beyond her research. Her international organization, the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI), advances community-led conservation, animal welfare, science, and youth empowerment through JGI’s Roots & Shoots program.

Tickets for the community youth lecture at Harris Concert Hall on September 11 will become available to members on Friday, August 25 at 7am MST via email.
