Abstract

The invention relates to a coupling for transmitting a torque, comprising an at least three-part rotationally-symmetrical main part (10, 30) with an elastic central region (5, 35) and substantially two flush-closing terminating discs (1, 4, 30, 34) at the end faces, at least said terminating discs comprising a coupling receiver (7) which is positioned centrally relative to the rotational axis of the main part and into which securing screws (6) arrive that are arranged on the circumference of the terminating disc and used to secure an axle that is arranged in said coupling receiver. According to the invention, the coupling is designed such that the terminating discs (1, 4, 30, 34) are at least connected to said elastic central region (5, 35) in a bonded manner, said discs (1, 4, 30, 34) being formed from a material whose modulus of elasticity lies between 64kN/mm2 and 1000 kN/mm2 when at 20°C, and the elastic central region (5, 35) being formed from a material whose modulus of elasticity lies between 0.001 kN/mm2 and 20 kN/mm2.
