Definitions
- the invention relates to a portable security container for storing objects, in particular valuables.
- Security containers are used to store objects, in particular valuables, and protect the owner of such security containers against unauthorized access by third parties to the items stored therein.
- both the housing and a closure are solid and reinforced to at least complicate or even prevent an opening of the containment.
- containers and closures made of multi-layered and difficult to drill steel are used.
- Such security containers are extremely heavy and difficult to transport due to their rectangular or square shape.
- Such security containers are mostly used stationary and thus can not be taken or only with great difficulty traveling. In addition, it is immediately apparent that this is a security container, which increases the risk of theft.
- the invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a portable security container such as a travel vault, which allows safe storage of items, in particular valuables, unobtrusive in appearance and preferably is easily formed.
- a portable security container which is transportable by the user's hand or on the body of the user and having a tubular housing with a sleeve-shaped wall and a frontally disposed on the wall floor, wherein an opening opposite the bottom, through which the interior of the housing is accessible, can be closed with a safety lock and with a lid, through which the safety closure can be covered, which forms in particular the bottom opposite the bottom end face.
- a portable security container has the advantage that is created by a tubular shape with the bottom and the frontal lid a deviating from the characteristic vaults basic shape, so that from the outside is not immediately recognizable that it is a security container.
- this security container is covered with a decor, so that the impression of a bag, a luggage, a scroll or a poster roll arises.
- this tube shape of the housing has the advantage that manipulation from the outside are difficult.
- a compact design can be created by this tubular shape, which is also reduced in weight compared to conventional rectangular or square basic shapes of security containers.
- this portable security container is suitable as a travel vault, for example in the form of a piece of luggage, in particular hand luggage. Such portable security containers are not intended for fixed installation.
- the sleeve-shaped wall and / or the bottom can be double or multi-walled. This increases the security against unauthorized opening or separation from the outside.
- the sleeve-shaped wall and / or the bottom has at least one outer wall and an inner wall, which are preferably formed from an impact-resistant plastic.
- an impact-resistant plastic has the advantage that it is easily compared to container walls made of steel or cast materials. Polycarbonate can preferably be used here.
- the multi-walled floor and / or the wall have at least one cavity, wherein the at least one cavity of the sleeve-shaped wall and the cavity of the floor are in communication with each other and are poured together by a single- or multi-component plastic filling.
- a plastic filling By jointly pouring the at least one cavity of the bottom and the wall with a plastic filling a compact, secure and firm connection between the bottom and the sleeve-shaped housing can be created, so that a quasi one-piece housing is formed.
- a two-component synthetic resin mixture is preferably used. After curing, the bottom and the tubular housing portion or the wall are so stable that a cutting or boring is almost impossible.
- a further preferred embodiment of the housing provides that at least one layer of a liner made of a non-woven plastic, plastic fabric or Kunststoffgewirke is arranged on an inner facing the cavity inside the outer or inner wall of the sleeve-shaped wall and the bottom, which of a protective layer or Protective cover is covered, which forms a gap with the inside of the outer wall or the inner wall.
- the insert is made of an aramid carbon fiber fabric. This represents a high strength resistant fabric.
- the one- or multi-component plastic filling is preferably introduced in the between the protective sheath and the insert-free cavity of the sleeve-shaped wall and / or the bottom.
- This can be a multilayer wall structure for the sleeve-shaped wall or the floor given.
- a further preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the plastic filling with particles or granules of an abrasive, in particular carbide, is filled.
- a further preferred embodiment of the containment provides that in the space and / or in the insert-free cavity one or more reinforcing elements, in particular made of high-strength steel, are introduced.
- These reinforcing elements may for example be designed as reinforcing rods which extend along the sleeve-shaped wall. These reinforcing elements can also be inserted in the ground and extend over the surface thereof. Alternatively, such reinforcing elements may be incorporated circumferentially or helically in the sleeve-shaped wall or the floor.
- a holder At a facing the interior of the inner wall of the sleeve-shaped wall, a holder is arranged, which engages the safety catch in a closed position and engages behind the holder with locking bolts. As a result, the retaining ring is not accessible from the outside in the closed position of the security closure in order to prevent manipulation.
- a further preferred embodiment of the security container provides that the security closure is completely removable from the opening and removable from the sleeve-shaped wall. This allows maximum accessibility of the opening for introducing objects, in particular valuables, into the interior space.
- the security lock is preferably designed as a number combination lock or as an electric combination lock. Alternatively, a fingerprint lock or a key lock can be provided. These embodiments correspond to vault doors and can be user-selected.
- the security closure may include at least one insert.
- the at least one insert is formed from an aramid carbon fiber fabric, so that the same effect can be achieved in analogy to the advantageously provided aramid carbon fiber fabric in the sleeve-shaped wall and / or the bottom.
- the portable security container is designed as an outwardly completely closed unit through the housing and the lid, so that optically the function as a safe or security container is not recognizable, but rather can be configured as a bag or luggage.
