Abstract

Partikelabscheider (1) zur Behandlung von Abgasen einer Verbrennungskraftmaschine (2), wobei mindestens eine von Abgas durchströmbare metallische Lage (3) in einem Gehäuse (4) mit einer Einlassöffnung (5), einer Auslassöffnung (6) und einer Zentrumsachse (7) angeordnet ist, wobei das Gehäuse (4) einen ersten Teil (8) mit einer ersten Fügefläche (10) und einen zweiten Teil (9) mit einer zweiten Fügefläche (11) aufweist, wobei die erste Fügefläche (10) und die zweite Fügefläche (11) miteinander korrespondieren, so dass der erste Teil (8) und der zweite Teil (9) entlang der Zentrumsachse (7) zueinander positionierbar sind und die mindestens eine metallische Lage (3) die erste Fügefläche (10) und die zweite Fügefläche (11) vollumfänglich beabstandet. Es werden ein Partikelabscheider und ein Verfahren zu dessen Herstellung vorgeschlagen, welcher in einfacher Weise mit wenigen Mitteln kostengünstig gefertigt werden kann und insbesondere für die Nachrüstung in einem bestehenden Abgassystem geeignet ist.
