Abstract

An imaging lens (1a) is characterized in having a lens group (16a), which is arranged on an object side and has a positive refractive power, and a third lens (13a), which is directly or indirectly formed on a surface of the imaging element (15) on the object side and has a spherical surface. Thus, the imaging lens wherein performance deterioration due to eccentric core shift and inclination of the lens is suppressed with a reduced number of lenses requiring arrangement of a lens holding mechanism is provided.
