Abstract

The present invention of a high capacity bullet cartridge, more specifically, a bullet cartridge provided for a gun with color paint bullets, mainly comprises a cartridge body disposed with an U-shaped bullet channel inside the said cartridge body; the said U-shaped bullet channel is disposed with an orientation throat on one side adjacent to an open end where a bullet is released; the said orientation throat is provided for the bullet to change direction and is advantageous for assuring the smooth movement of the bullet encircling an arch portion of the U-shaped bullet channel.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1 Field of the Invention [0001]
  • The present invention of a high capacity bullet cartridge, more specifically, a high capacity bullet cartridge provided for a gun with color paint bullets, mainly has an U-shaped bullet receiving channel disposed inside the bullet cartridge for increasing the bullet capacity and has an orientation throat disposed on one side of a relative open end of the bullet channel; the said orientation throat is used to allow the bullet to make a 90 degree directional change in and out; the said directional change makes the bullets moving at the arch portion of the U-shaped bullet channel form circularly tangential push between each other so as to achieve the purpose of obtaining smooth movement.   • 2 Description of the Prior Art [0003]
  • Accordingly, the application of a general toy bullet cartridge is to provide the accommodation for multiple bullets to achieve the effect of successive discharging for a toy gun; the inside of a conventional bullet cartridge is disposed with a vertical bullet channel related to a gun body; bullets are directly and vertically arranged inside the said vertical bullet channel, therefore, the capacity thereof is limited directly by the length of the said bullet cartridge.   • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention specifically disposes an U-shaped bullet channel inside a bullet cartridge of the same length; by using the directional change of the said U-shaped bullet channel, a longer length can be obtained to provide the accommodation for more bullets; furthermore, since the bullet is a cylindrical body, as the said cylindrical body encircles an arch portion of the U-shaped bullet channel, if the bullets would not tangentially push each other to move by the circular tangent lines of the bullet bodies, they would be stuck at the revolving portion of the bullet channel because of the unbalanced thrust received from the front and the rear ends. Therefore, the present invention further has an orientation throat disposed in the bullet channel on one side adjacent to an open end to enable a vertically entered bullet case body to form a transverse arrangement with the gun (the bullet cartridge) after changing direction. The primary object of the present invention is to use the said transverse arrangement to make the bullets at the U-shaped turning area form tangential press of the externally round surface to each other so as to facilitate the thrust of movement of each moving bullet to gain an even and parallel effect and to facilitate the movement as well as displacement of encircling the arch portion.   • Another object of the present invention is to dispose a push spring at a relative seal stop end of the bullet channel; the acting end of the said push spring is disposed with a round shuttle; the round shape thereof is not limited by the turning area of the bullet channel efficiently. [0006]
  • Yet another object of the present invention is to dispose a pull thread relatively to the said shuttle; the pulling force action of the pull thread moves the said shuttle to withdraw to the seal stop end of the bullet channel. [0007]
  • Still another object of the present invention is to make the pull thread be rolled up by a thread spool disposed with a manual wheel. [0008]
  • Further object of the present invention is to dispose a ratchet pawl control on the outer rim of the thread spool for rolling up the pull thread so as to achieve the purpose of releasing the said pull thread. [0009]
  • At the upper aspect of the said cartridge body of the present invention, at the position relative to a through hole where the bullet is pushed out, a horizontal limiting tongue plate is disposed; the said horizontal limiting tongue plate provides temporarily push-out oriented retaining for the filled in bullet to prevent the filled in bullet from ejection before loading.   • Still another object of the present invention is to dispose an oblique push plane at the body portion of the said horizontal tongue plate; when the bullet cartridge is housed into the gun body, the push rod disposed relatively to the gun body works on the oblique push plane to push away the said limiting tongue plate so as to make the bullet freely eject out.   • To enable a further understanding of the contents of the present invention, the brief description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed description of the preferred embodiment.[0012]

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • The present invention mainly provides a bullet cartridge to obtain more bullet capacity in a bullet cartridge of an equivalent length; referring to FIG. 1, as indicated, the present invention comprises a cartridge body ([0018] 1) with a clip member (14) disposed at the upper aspect; when assembling the cartridge body (1) to the cartridge opening at the lower aspect of the gun, the clip member (14) clasps the clasp member disposed relatively on the gun body (not shown in the Figure) thereby to achieve the object of dismounting the removable assembly.
  • Referring to FIG. 2, inside the cartridge body ([0019] 1) of the present invention, the bullet channel provided for receiving the bullets is disposed as an U-shaped bullet channel (2) (for an obvious illustration, the said bullet cartridge body in FIG. 2 is represented vertically); one end of the said U-shaped bullet channel (2) is disposed with an open end (24) and the other end is disposed as a seal stop end (25); inside the seal stop end (25), a push spring (23) is disposed for pushing out a bullet (10); the push action end of the said push spring (23) is disposed with a shuttle (22); the said shuttle (22) pushes the bullet (10) outward; an orientation throat (20) is disposed at the throat position at the relative open end (24) of the said bullet channel (2); the said orientation throat (20) allows the bullet (10) placed in to make a 90 degree directional change; the external shape of the bullet (10) is a cylindrical body with the length thereof longer than that of its width or even equivalent to the width; whatever dimension regulation it might have, it is a cylindrical bullet body; supposing that the length of the bullet (10) is longer than its diameter as well as a same longitudinal and vertical relationship is formed between it and the gun body, so when the bullet (10) is placed in from the through hole (11) and reaches the position of the orientation throat (20), the sliding and guiding action of the orientation throat (20) forms a transversely directional change; the orientation throat (20) makes the said bullet (10) turn to a transverse direction; when all the adjacent bullets (10) move to the arch portion (26) to make a turn, the mutual rolling as well as tangential thrust and press of the round surfaces of the bullet (10) bodies enable the bullets (10) to encircle the arch portion (26) so as to reach one side of the seal stop end (25); relatively, after the push spring (23) works to the shuttle (22), the said shuttle (22) then forms a vaulting pressure which pushes out the bullet (10) toward the open end (24); during the pushing procedure, when the bullet (10) reaches the arch portion (26), the rolling and tangential action formed by the externally round surfaces of all the bullet (10) bodies again applies to the moving procedure at the arch portion (26) to facilitate the bullet (10) to encircle and move upward to enter the open end (24); before entering the open end (24), first the directional change of the orientation throat (20) guides the orientation of the bullet (10) to be vertical again as the same of the gun so as to enable the bullet (10) pushed out to make corresponding loading in respond to the direction of the gun; utilizing the location of the mentioned orientation throat (20) at the open end (24) to make the bullet achieve the object of smoothly moving before going in or out the arch portion (26) of the bullet channel is the main feature of the present invention.
  • The another object of the present invention is to dispose a pull thread ([0020] 21) behind the said shuttle (22); the said pull thread (21) can be operated to be pulled backward, that means when the shuttle (22) presses the said spring (23) reversely to yield an empty state of the bullet channel (2) for filling in the bullet (10), it does not need to directly work against the active force of the push spring (23) and thus reduces the resistance from the said spring (23) during bullet filling operation; furthermore, a manual wheel (3), as shown in the external view in FIG. 1, is disposed at the free end of the said pull thread (21); the said manual wheel (3) is movably disposed at the upper aspect of the cartridge body (1), referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, relative to the seal stop end (25) of the bullet channel (2); the inside of the said manual wheel (3) is formed as a thread spool (31); a thread groove (33) is disposed on the said thread spool (31) for rolling up the pull thread (21); the said thread spool (31) can be formed as a ratchet wheel (30) with the external rim surface disposed with ratchet teeth (32) provided for a one-way hook formed at the distal end of a ratchet pawl (34) to clasp the said ratchet teeth (32) so as to limit the said ratchet wheel (30) to make one-way rotation; the said ratchet pawl (34) can be designed as an L-shape; through the pushing action of a spring (131), the upper transverse rod makes the said ratchet pawl (34) hook toward the ratchet teeth (32) under a normal condition; when the cartridge body (1) is loaded relative to the gun body, a push tenon or a push rod (not shown in the Figure) disposed relatively to the gun body goes through the insert hole (13) and then presses the horizontal rod portion of the said ratchet pawl (34) to move and eject the ratchet pawl (34) from the ratchet teeth (32); after the ratchet wheel (30) is released from the clasping, the said pull thread (21) is released to enable the said shuttle (22) to be freely pushed out; of course, the reaction force of the said pull thread (21) to pull backward is formed by the vaulting pressure of the push spring (23).
  • A horizontal limiting tongue plate ([0021] 15) is disposed at the position relative to the through hole (11) for the bullet (10); the distal end of the said tongue plate (15) goes into the outlet of the bullet channel (2) relative to the position of the through hole (11) of the cartridge body (1) and also clips the shuttle (22) to prevent the said shuttle (22) from ejection; the detention action of the said tongue plate (15) works relatively during bullet filling; when the last bullet (10) is filled in and before using, the same action of the said tongue plate (15) is also applied to bound the last bullet (10) at the position adjacent to the through hole (11); when loading the cartridge body (1) to the gun body, the tangential tenon (not shown in the Figure) disposed relatively to the gun body can also be used to go through the through hole (12) disposed on the cartridge body (1) and to work on the oblique push plane (152) disposed at the body portion of the tongue plate (15); the whole body of the tongue plate (15) is pressed by the spring (151) on the rear side; therefore, when tangentially moved by the elements of the gun body, the said oblique push plane (152) pushes and moves toward the compressing spring (151), thereby to make the distal end of the said tongue plate (15) release the last bullet (10) and thus discharge all the bullets (10); the said tongue plate (15) not only provides the limitation for pushing out the bullet (10) on the uppermost aspect, when the bullet (10) is used up, the said tongue plate (15) also has to retain the said shuttle (22); therefore a shoulder portion (221) can be disposed at the distal end of the tongue plate (15), relative to the said shuttle (22) and away from the dimension of the external shape of the bullet (10), or when the working element of the gun body shoots out the last bullet (10), the action can make the said tongue plate (15) to reversely retain toward the shuttle (22), or other possible methods for achieving the same retaining purpose can also be applied, but they won't be further described here.
  • The said shuttle ([0022] 22) itself shuffles inside the bullet channel (2), therefore the external shape of the shuttle (22) is preferred to be designed as a round-shaped body for reducing the possible friction between the angular sides and the surface inside the bullet channel (2).

Claims (8)

1. A high capacity bullet cartridge, more specifically, a bullet cartridge used for a
gun with paint bullet to provide the accommodation for more bullets, mainly has an U-shaped bullet receiving channel passage disposed inside the cartridge body; an orientation throat is disposed on one side adjacent to an open end of the said channel passage for the bullet to change direction; a push spring is disposed at a seal stop end, the action end of the said push spring is disposed with a pushing shuttle.
2. A high capacity bullet cartridge according to claim 1, wherein the said shuttle is preferred to be a round body.
3. A high capacity bullet cartridge according to claim 1, wherein the rear end of the said shuttle connects a pull thread.
4. A pull thread according to claim 3, wherein the free end of the said pull thread is disposed by a one-way and removable thread spool for rolling up the thread.
5. A thread spool according to claim 4, wherein the said external circle of the thread spool is disposed with ratchet teeth.
6. A thread spool according to claim 4, wherein the ratchet teeth disposed one external portion can be clasped one-way by a ratchet pawl, the other end of the said ratchet pawl can be released by the elements relatively disposed on the gun body.
7. A high capacity bullet cartridge comprising a bullet channel passage inside is characterized that a horizontal limiting tongue plate is disposed at the through hole position at the upper aspect of the cartridge body.
8. A limiting tongue plate according to claim 7, an oblique push plane is disposed at the position where the body portion of the said tongue plate is relative to the gun body.
