Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a modular weapon station, in particular for arrangement a combat vehicle, with a trained as a machine gun primary weapon and one of the primary weapon mechanically tracked secondary weapon and one with the Primary weapon coupled vision device.
The invention is based on the object, a modular weapon station of this kind so that it is extremely versatile and in particular on combat vehicles very different design on both wheeled and on Tracked vehicles can be arranged. The weapon station should be one as possible have low weight and above all in terms of their height so be dimensioned that the overall contour of a combat vehicle on which the weapon station is arranged, especially in terms of height within the prescribed Dimensions remains, with which a transport of the entire combat vehicle in Fixed-wing aircraft and rotorcraft is possible.
The possibility of arranging the modular weapon station on different types of combat vehicles has u.a. the purpose of self-protection of combat vehicles in the To reinforce close range. This is of particular importance when fighting vehicles can be used, on which anti-aircraft system modules are arranged and in general have limited opportunities for self-protection. With the modular weapon station, it should be possible, each on some such Combat vehicles instead of an anti-aircraft system module the modular weapon station to arrange so that these combat vehicles can then take the self-protection.
Furthermore, it should be possible in principle, the modular weapon station on other Vehicles, ships or fixed structures such as buildings, to arrange.

A basic idea of the invention consists in a special arrangement and Coupling of primary weapon, secondary weapon and sight the modular weapon station to accommodate in a very compact housing, which is a relative has low weight and the lowest possible height and in which the in the horizontal plane protruding components, such as the gun barrel of the Primary weapon and the barrel of the secondary weapon, are arranged so that the modular weapon station for very different vehicle types on the roof panel of the combat vehicle can be arranged without giving access to others on the Roof panel, such as the entry / exit hatches, to impair.
For this purpose, the elevation axis of the secondary weapon is seen from the front arranged the shield pin of the primary weapon, and the linkage for the transmission of Elevation movement to the secondary weapon via a parallelogram linkage, which is coupled to the trunnion of the primary weapon. This displacement of the elevation axis the secondary weapon has the advantage of a low immersion depth of Secondary weapon and thus a lower overall height of the modular weapon station as well an improved arrangement possibility on the roof panel of different combat vehicles.
This will be explained below with reference to exemplary embodiments.
The modular weapon station according to the invention is i.a. for the self-protection of vehicles and combat units can be used at close range. Airplanes, helicopters, combat vehicles and objects in close range can be hit with great probability and high ammunition are combated.
