Soferne eine Öffnung des Kästchens vorgenommen werden soll, wird mittels des elektronischen Schlüssels von der Zentraleinheit her an die Rasteinrichtung 4 ein Impuls abgegeben, wodurch der Anker 42 mittels der Spule 41 entgegen der Wirkung der Druckfeder 43 nach unten verstellt wird und die Rastrolle 44 aus der Ausnehmung 24 heraus gelangt. Hierauf wird der Sperr-Riegel 2 durch die Zugfeder 3 im Uhrzeigersinn verschwenkt, wodurch er in seine nicht sperrende Stellung gelangt. Diese Stellung wird durch den Mikroschalter 6 an die Zentraleinheit gemeldet. Hierdurch ist das Kästchen geöffnet, wodurch es für den Benützer zugänglich ist.
Im Falle, daß eine Funktionsstörung auftritt, kann das Kästchen mittels der Notentriegelung 5 geöffnet werden.
