Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a combat vehicle, in particular a self-propelled howitzer, with one on the vehicle in the Area rotatable behind the center of the vehicle turret with a heavy weapon in elevation is pivotally arranged and at least one Part of the projectiles and propellant charges in the vehicle is stored inside the vehicle and at the rear of the vehicle rearward opening loading / unloading opening arranged is not.
Such a self-propelled howitzer is, for example, in EP 0 331 980 B1. With the well-known Pan The bullets are essentially crumbling stored in the middle of the vehicle and are by means of an automatic projectile feeding device the storey magazine with multiple rotations up to promoted the area behind the weapon end and there aligning in azimuth and elevation to the mo mental direction of the weapon in the loading position raised.
The invention has for its object by a new concept of storage of the storeys and driftwood in the combat vehicle a considerable amount che simplification not only of the funding process from projectiles and propellant charges to weapons, but also a simplification of loading and unloading the To reach vehicle with projectiles and propellant charges chen. Furthermore, it should be achieved that the Zu Guiding projectiles and propellant charges to the weapon by means of a very simple structure, possibly ma manually operated projectile feeders is feasible.
This object is achieved according to the invention with the characteristics from the characteristic part of the Claim 1. Advantageous further developments of Invention are described in the subclaims.
The invention is based on the basic idea of projectiles and propellant charges as close as possible to the in the rear of the vehicle arranged loading / unloading opening order, in such a way that on the one hand the existing storage space inside the vehicle optimal is exploited and on the other hand medium simple me chanic aids loading and unloading Ge shot and propellant charges is possible. How to continue explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment tert, play with this new concept of arrangement the projectiles transversely arranged in the rear of the vehicle Slidable and able to the middle of the vehicle the chain boxes of the vehicle gripping projectile magazines a preferred role. Furthermore, the space above the chain boxes can be used for Storage of additional storeys and / or propellant charges be exploited. Finally, the storage con zept supplemented by the Ge arranged in the rear of the tower lap magazine. Because of this arrangement of the floors can load and unload the vehicle with bullets and propellant charges and the transportation of ge shot from the outside or from one of the storey magazines to the weapon by means of a very simply constructed projectile guiding devices are carried out.
As also below based on an execution explained, for example, for loading and Unloading the vehicle and transporting Ge shot a mu from the storey magazines to the weapon nition feeder can be used as they for example in the older one, not pre-published clear German patent application "Geschoßzufuhrungs device for a self-propelled howitzer "of the same Applicant (filed on 07/21/1993, files 93-10-35) is described.
The following is based on the accompanying drawings an embodiment for a combat vehicle the invention explained in more detail.
In den Zeichnungen zeigen: The drawings show:
Fig. 1 in stark schematisierter Darstellung einen Vertikalschnitt durch die Längsmitte einer Panzerhau bitze; Figure 1 in a highly schematic representation of a vertical section through the longitudinal center of a Panzerhau bit;
Fig. 2 die Panzerhaubitze nach Fig. 1 in einem Hori zontalschnitt durch das Fahrzeuginnere; Figure 2 shows the self-propelled howitzer of Figure 1 in a Hori zontal section through the vehicle interior.
Fig. 3 einen Querschnitt durch die Panzerhaubitze nach Fig. 1 gesehen aus Richtung X. Fig. 3 shows a cross section seen by the self-propelled howitzer according to Fig. 1 from the direction X.
Be/Entladeöffnung B.The self-propelled howitzer shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 consists of a vehicle F with a chain undercarriage FW, on which a tower T is rotatably supported via a slewing ring D. The tower T is arranged behind the center of the vehicle and on it a heavy weapon W which is guided into the interior of the vehicle is arranged pivotably in elevation. In the rear of the vehicle there is a loading / unloading opening B.
As can be seen from the drawings, the Ge bullets are preferably stored in the rear of the vehicle and the tower. A part of the storeys is stored in the rear of the vehicle on both sides of the longitudinal median plane M of the vehicle in a storey magazine 3 or 4 , the shape of which is selected such that, as shown in FIG. 3, storage of several storeys is particularly space-saving enables. Each of the storey magazines 3 and 4 consists of a first part 3.1 or 4.1 which is perpendicular to the vehicle floor and a second part 3.2 or 4.2 which is arranged at the upper end of the first part and runs parallel to the vehicle floor and extends outwards. In each of the two parts there are storeys G3 and G4 with the projectile tip pointing forward. Each of the two storey magazines 3 and 4 can be moved from a loading position directly in front of the loading / unloading opening B of the vehicle transversely to the longitudinal center plane M into a storage position and back (arrow direction Q1 and Q2), as can be seen from FIGS . 2 and 3 in which the second part 3.2 or 4.2 of the storey magazine respectively overlaps the chain case K1 or K2 running on the longitudinal sides of the vehicle interior. This means that the space above the K1 and K2 chain boxes is already optimally used as storage space in the rear part. The movement of the Geschoßma magazines 3 and 4 takes place via the vehicle connected, not specifically shown and known telescopic guides. In the two end positions of the movement, that is, the loading position, in front of the loading / unloading opening and the storage position, the projectile magazines 3 and 4 are each held in place by locking devices not shown. For reasons of space and in order to achieve unimpeded movement of the projectile magazines, it has proven to be expedient for the longitudinal axis of the projectile magazines to be offset outwards by a small acute angle α relative to the longitudinal center plane M of the vehicle.
The retention of the storeys in the storey magazines takes place by means of simple clamping known per se directions.
As can be seen from the drawings, the storage possibility of storeys above the chain boxes K1 and K2 is further exploited by additional magazines 5 and 6 are arranged in the area in front of the storey magazines 3 and 4 above the chain boxes K1 and K2 for receiving further storeys. In these additional magazines, the storeys are also arranged with the storey tip positioned to the front. The loading and unloading of these additional magazines 5 and 6 can take place via the storey magazines 3 and 4 .
The storeys are also through in the additional magazines simple manually operated clamping or clamping device supported.
The propellant charges are arranged inside the vehicle so that quick access is possible. Thus, as can be seen in FIG. 2, containers 9 for receiving propellant charges are arranged on one of the chains. Another container 7 for propellant charges is arranged in the transverse direction, seen from above on the right, next to the end of the weapon W, while an additional container 8 for propellant charges in the longitudinal direction is attached to the inside of the right chain case K1.
In the armored howitzer shown, both projectiles and propellant charges are stored in the tower. For this purpose, a turret magazine 1 is arranged in the rear of the turret behind the weapon for receiving projectiles G1 which point to the front with the projectile tip and which lie one above the other in several rows. Above and ne ben of the tower magazine 1 , a further container 2 for propellant charges is arranged. It has proven to be advantageous here for reasons of saving space if the propellant charges TR arranged above the storeys G1 of the tower magazine are offset from the storeys by a gap.
The loading and unloading of the tower magazine 1 and the lead to storeys both from the outside and from the tower magazine 1 , the storey magazines 3 and 4 and the additional magazines 5 and 6 can be done with the aid of a Ge shot feeder in the form of a loading aid generally designated 10 .
This loading aid 10 is arranged between the rear end of the weapon W and the turret magazine 1 .
It is only briefly explained below and is in different embodiments in an older one, unpublished patent application of the same Chen applicant under the name "floor feeding device for a self-propelled howitzer "closer described.
The projectile feeder is basically constructed so that a transverse guide 10.4 is attached to the inside of the roof plate of the turret T between the rear end of the weapon W and the turret magazine 1 , on which a slide (arrow direction Q) is slidably guided, on which a downwardly extending in the tower arm 10.1 is suspended, on which a charging cradle along the support arm 10.1 movable bar is carried, which carries a charging cradle 10.3 . The arrangement and suspension of the parts is such that the longitudinal axis of the charging cradle 10.3 can be brought into a position in alignment with the barrel core axis of the weapon in at least one elevation position of the weapon W. The charging cradle can also be raised by means of a chain drive 10.2 on the support arm 10.1 in positions in which the rear end of the charging cradle lies directly in front of predetermined storage locations of the tower magazine 1 . Furthermore, the charging cradle 10.3 can be brought into a position in which the rear end of the deschale connects directly to the front end of an arranged in the loading / unloading opening B roller conveyor 11 . The charging cradle 10.3 is pivotally connected to the cradle receptacle about an axis parallel to the Schildzap fenachse of the weapon W, so that it can assume various angle positions in elevation in the different positions.
The loading aid 10 described above can either be constructed as a simply constructed, purely manually operated unit. But it is also possible to effect individual movements, such as lifting the charging tray 10.3 , by motor. It has the task of relieving the operator of loading and unloading the tower magazine, firing from the tower magazine, firing from the stack and storing the bullets from the vehicle into the rear of the tower. With the charging cradle movably mounted on the support arm in the vertical direction, it can continue to serve as a preparation unit for the next floor (e.g. in the event of a fire). Furthermore, can be arranged inside half of the charging cradle, not shown, a shell-like charging cradle inner part, which is movable in the direction of the weapon from the charging cradle and facilitates the attachment of the projectiles.
The loading and unloading and direct feeding of Ge shots to the weapon from the outside takes place via the roller track 11 , which can be locked in the tower pivot D in a tower-fixed bracket. As a result, it can also pivot during lateral directional movements of the tower (T) within the loading / unloading opening B and remains aligned with the direction of the charging cradle 10.3 . When the loading or unloading process has ended, the roller conveyor 11 can be released from its tower holder and stowed in or on the vehicle.
The propellant charge containers 7 , 8 and 9 are preferably constructed as a multi-chamber container and are constructed in a manner not shown so that all propellant charges can be easily and quickly achieved by Umklap pen inner partitions. This chamber design is inexpensive and the containers can be quickly replaced if required.
