Abstract

The miniature air-conditioning unit is used for cooling small containers transporting medicaments in small quantities. It may be used for the direct air-conditioning of scientific instruments and delicate electronic components. It comprises a driving motor, a refrigerating compressor, a heater, motor batteries, a heat exchanger, an evaporator and vibration-damping equipment. The unit is particularly for storing insulin when in transit, or maintaining aircraft navigation instruments in their proper operating condition.
