本发明包括用于从渡越时间(TOF)尺寸标注系统中减轻多路径失真的系统和方法。TOF尺寸标注系统用于线性或体积尺寸的测量。TOF尺寸标注系统通过测量脉冲光束行进一定距离(例如,从TOF尺寸标注系统到物体并且然后返回到TOF尺寸标注系统的路径的距离)所花费的时间而获得视场内的点的相对位置。
