该系统通常被具体实施为如图1所示的简化的手持标记读取器(例如激光条形码扫描器)100并且有助于读取标记102,例如条形码、QR码、矩阵码或其他计算机可读标记。
如图2所示,标记读取系统10包括标记捕捉子系统11,用于获取关于标记的光学信息。标记捕捉子系统11包括传输模块13和接收模块14。传输模块13负责使电磁辐射15(例如,来自可见激光二极管或VLD 31的光)在标记102上来回扫描,而接收模块14收集并且检测反射的辐射16并将其转换为模拟电子信号17。该模拟信号被输入到标记解码子系统20中。在那里,模拟信号被处理并转换为数字信号19,然后,数字信号19被发送到接口子系统12。接口子系统12将经解码的标记信号经由通信协议(例如USB)传送到输出18。

当激光扫描器的触发器105被按下时,所传输的光15扫过其扫描区域103。在扫描期间,所传输的光15遇到条形码102并且反射光16被引导回到标记读取器10。反射信号的幅度由于条形码沿扫描方向的不同反射率而被调制。条形码的亮区比条形码的暗区反射更多的光。因此,反射光16的调制代表了条形码的编码信息。接收模块采集该反射光16并且将其转换为适合于解码的电子信号。
参照图4,接收模块(例如,接收子系统或接收电路)位于电路板27的底侧上。反射光16被邻近于板的底侧的扫描器窗口47的下半部中的集成透镜48过滤和聚焦,如图5所示。因此,所传输和所接收的激光光束通过该窗口45经历不同的路径。这样,该系统被称为“非后向的”(例如,非后向反射的)以指示该构造。该设计的非后向的特点促进其简单性并且帮助减少杂散光。集成的透镜简化了结构并且不需要除了从扫描器壳体之外的对准。
反射光的令人满意的检测需要使来自太阳、室内灯或其他光源的杂散光最小化。扫描器窗口被涂上颜色,使得所传输和所接收的激光可以在极小损耗的情况下穿过,而不同波长(即,颜色)的光被最小化。在窗口过滤器的抑制效果不够的情况下,可能需要另外的过滤来补充该窗口过滤(例如,日光应用中的IR过滤)。为了使尺寸和成本最小化,该另外的过滤可以与光电二极管检测器40集成。
位于检测器40前方的透镜收集经调制的光并且将其聚焦到检测器(例如,硅光电二极管)40上。如指出的,检测器40位于电路板上,与传输模块相对。在该构造中,板用于阻隔来自传输模块的未经调制的光,其否则可能泄漏到检测器中。因此,该非后向的设计对于最小化杂散光的有害效应而言是高效简洁的方式。
在光电二极管40检测到光之后,所转换的电子模拟信号17被发送到标记解码子系统的第一元件,即专用集成电路(即ASIC)41。这里,电子模拟信号被处理以检测调制。可构造的ASIC 41执行各种功能并且具有输入和输出以驱动和监测其他子系统,但是主要负责处理和转换从光电二极管接收的信号。ASIC芯片41将大量的电路合并到单个表面安装封装中,由此显著减小了尺寸。ASIC芯片41与所有其他表面安装部件一起被软焊在电路板27的下侧。通常,所有表面安装器件均位于电路板的下侧并且没有表面安装器件位于电路板的顶侧。通过将所有表面安装部件软焊在电路板的一侧上,制造复杂性得以简化并且更加成本高效。
在对原始电子信号进行处理之后,ASIC返回代表标记代码19的数字信号。该数字信号然后被供应到微控制器单元(即,MCU)42。MCU包含处理器核芯、存储器和可编程输入/输出外围设备。可以用不同的代码或不同的通信协议对该单元进行编程。其任务在于:验证数字信号代表已知代码,将该信号解码为条形码所代表的信息,并且经由通信协议(例如USB)将该数据传输到标记读取系统18的输出。USB缆线可经由位于板27的底侧上的USB软焊垫43被直接软焊到激光扫描器板。替代地,为了易于制造,可使用连接器来代替软焊垫。
因此,本文给出的激光条形码扫描器的方案展示了一种紧凑的、简单的、廉价的且易于组装的激光扫描器。使用了单个的双层板(即,顶层和底层)。仅仅需要运行一次回熔软焊,并且省去了诸如缆线和额外机械保持器的部件。通过组装来对准期望的光路并且不需要另外的对准(例如,零对准),尽管使用了由柔性衬底制成的翻转镜组件。扫描机构和收集子系统位于电路板的相对侧上以改进性能而不增加复杂性。

Claims (19)
1.一种激光扫描器,其特征在于包括:
标记捕捉子系统,所述标记捕捉子系统用于获取关于所述标记捕捉子系统的视野内的标记的信息,所述标记捕捉子系统包括仅仅一个电路板,所述电路板包括(i)用于朝向标记投射电磁辐射的光源、(ii)光偏转组件和(iii)用于收集从所述标记反射的电磁辐射的光电二极管,其中,所述光源和所述光电二极管位于所述电路板上,使得从所述光源投射到所述标记的电磁辐射以及从所述标记反射到所述光电二极管的电磁辐射是非后向反射的;和
标记解码子系统,所述标记解码子系统构造成对所述标记捕捉子系统获取的标记信息进行解码。
2.如权利要求1所述的激光扫描器,其特征在于包括透镜,所述透镜用于会聚从所述标记反射到所述光电二极管上的电磁辐射。
3.如权利要求1所述的激光扫描器,其特征在于包括光过滤器,所述光过滤器用于过滤从所述标记反射到所述光电二极管上的不需要的电磁辐射。
4.如权利要求1所述的激光扫描器,其特征在于包括接口子系统,所述接口子系统构造成(i)将所述标记解码子系统解码的标记信息翻译成通信协议,并且(ii)与主机设备进行通信。
5.如权利要求1所述的激光扫描器,其特征在于包括固定到所述电路板的表面安装器件,其中,所有表面安装器件均位于所述电路板的第二侧上并且没有表面安装器件位于所述电路板的第一侧上。
6.如权利要求1所述的激光扫描器,其特征在于,所述标记捕捉子系统包括(i)传输模块,其用于朝向所述标记传输电磁辐射,和(ii)接收模块,其用于收集和检测从所述标记反射或散射的电磁辐射。
7.如权利要求1所述的激光扫描器,其特征在于,所述电路板构造成阻隔从所述光源投射的电磁辐射。
8.如权利要求1所述的激光扫描器,其特征在于,所述光源和所述光偏转组件固定到光学保持器,所述光学保持器固定到所述电路板的第一侧。
9.如权利要求8所述的激光扫描器,其特征在于,所述光偏转组件包括(i)在边缘处固定到所述光学保持器以形成铰链的柔性衬底,位于所述柔性衬底的第一侧上的镜,以及位于所述柔性衬底的第二侧上与所述镜相对的磁体;和(ii)线圈,所述线圈用于产生磁场,所述磁场与所述磁体相互作用从而使与所述磁体相对地位于所述柔性衬底上的所述镜往复运动。
10.如权利要求1所述的激光扫描器,其特征在于,所述光源和所述光偏转组件固定到所述电路板的第一侧,并且所述光电二极管固定到所述电路板的第二、相对侧。
11.如权利要求1所述的激光扫描器,其特征在于,用于投射电磁辐射的所述光源是可见激光二极管(VLD)。
12.如权利要求1所述的激光扫描器,其特征在于,所述标记捕捉子系统构造成获取关于所述标记捕捉子系统的视野内的条形码符号的信息。
13.如权利要求1所述的激光扫描器,其特征在于,所述激光扫描器包括定位特征物,所述定位特征物促进所述标记捕捉子系统的永久对准。
14.一种激光扫描器,其特征在于包括:
标记捕捉子系统,所述标记捕捉子系统用于获取关于所述标记捕捉子系统的视野内的标记的信息,所述标记捕捉子系统包括仅仅一个电路板,所述电路板包括(i)用于朝向标记投射电磁辐射的光源、(ii)光偏转组件和(iii)用于收集从所述标记反射的电磁辐射的光电二极管,其中,所述光源和所述光偏转组件固定到光学保持器,所述光学保持器固定到所述电路板的第一侧,并且其中,所述光电二极管位于所述电路板的第二、相对侧上以阻隔从所述光源发射的杂散电磁辐射;和
标记解码子系统,所述标记解码子系统构造成对所述标记捕捉子系统获取的标记信息进行解码。
15.如权利要求14所述的激光扫描器,其特征在于包括窗口,所述窗口集成有透镜和光过滤器,用于会聚和过滤从所述标记反射到所述光电二极管上的电磁辐射。
16.如权利要求14所述的激光扫描器,其特征在于包括固定到所述电路板的表面安装器件,其中,所有表面安装器件均位于所述电路板的第二侧上,由此,没有表面安装器件位于所述电路板的第一侧上。
17.如权利要求14所述的激光扫描器,其特征在于,所述标记捕捉子系统包括(i)传输模块,其用于朝向所述标记传输电磁辐射,和(ii)接收模块,其用于收集和检测从所述标记反射或散射的电磁辐射。
18.如权利要求14所述的激光扫描器,其特征在于,所述光偏转组件包括(i)在其边缘处固定到所述光学保持器以形成铰链的柔性衬底,位于所述柔性衬底的第一侧上的镜,以及位于所述柔性衬底的第二侧上与所述镜相对的磁体;和(ii)线圈,所述线圈用于产生磁场,所述磁场与所述磁体相互作用从而使与所述磁体相对地位于所述柔性衬底上的所述镜往复运动。
19.如权利要求14所述的激光扫描器,其特征在于,所述激光扫描器包括定位特征物以使所述光源、所述光偏转组件和所述光电二极管相对于彼此固定地定位,以促进所述标记捕捉子系统的永久对准。
