发明内容

本发明包括通过多个功能化层堆叠形成的基片插入装置。另外,本发明包括用于制造具有此种堆叠的功能化层基片作为成形镜片中的插入物的眼科镜片的方法和设备。此外,本发明的一些实施例包括眼科镜片,所述眼科镜片中结合有堆叠的功能化层基片插入物。

现在参见图1,在一些实施例中,功能化的基片堆叠的一个或多个层可包括薄膜电力源100。薄的电力源可基本上被视为基片上的电池。
薄膜电池(有时称为TFB)可利用已知的沉积工艺构造于适宜的基片例如硅上。沉积可包括例如溅射沉积,并可用于利用一种或多种掩蔽和材料移除技术来沉积各种材料。
多种不同的材料已被研究并为可能的。在一些应用(例如晶粒堆叠和眼科装置)中,优选的基片包括能够承受800摄氏度而不发生化学变化的一种。在另一方面中,优选的基片可为绝缘的。任选地,基片可具有从装置的顶侧至底侧的通路,用于互连集电器。
根据本发明的TFB将优选地被包封在封装件中以防止以下一者或多者的进入:氧气、水分、其他气体或液体。因此,优选的实施例可在一个或多个层中包括封装件,其中所述封装件可包括一个或多个绝缘(例如聚对二甲苯)且不可渗透的层(例如,金属、铝、钛等)。各个层可通过沉积而涂覆在TFB装置之上。

线材成形的电源
现在参见图2A,电源的一些实施例的示例性设计包括围绕导电线材形成的根据权利要求17所述的眼科镜片,其中。优选地,所述电池包括高纵横比线型电池。
在一些实施例中,可使用细针铜线作为支撑件。可利用成批的或连续的线材涂覆工艺来构建各个电池组件层。这样,可以灵活且方便的外观尺寸来实现活性电池材料的非常高的容积效率(>60%)。在一些实施例中,可利用细的线材来形成小电池,例如以毫安小时测量的范围内的电池。电压容量可定为大约1.5伏特,直流。较大的电池和较高的电压也可按比例制成且属于本发明的范围内。
通常,线材成形的电池相对于现有的薄膜6包装提供显著改善(~40x或更多)。
现在参见图2B,其示出了用于形成基于线材的电池的一些实施例的方法。可使用高纯度的铜线,例如可从诸如McMasterCarrCorp.等商业来源获得的铜线,其涂覆有一个或多个层。
在一些实施例中,锌阳极涂层可由锌金属粉末、聚合物粘合剂、溶剂和添加剂配制而成。涂层可被涂覆并立即干燥。可进行多次相同的涂覆以获得期望的厚度。

电池应保持为“开放的”(即,非密封的),以便允许任何逸出的气体安全离开。可使用硅氧烷或含氟聚合物涂层来保护电池免受机械损伤,并在其中包含液体电解质。
电池可具有~1.5V或更大的开路电压。

一般来讲,在前所述的堆叠插入物的许多结构可在图5中观察到,包括堆叠的功能层440,441和442;堆叠的绝缘层450和451;以及互连件430和431。另外,可观察到用于在组装时支撑堆叠的功能化层插入物的支撑夹具(项510)。可显而易见的是,项510的表面轮廓可呈现大量形状,所述形状改变所述表面上的插入物的三维形状。
一般来讲,夹具510可设置有预定的形状。其可涂覆有不同的层(项520)以用于许多目的。在一些实施例中,以非限制性方式,所述涂层可首先包括聚合物层,所述聚合物层允许容易地将插入物结合到眼科镜片的基体材料中,并且所述涂层甚至可由有机硅聚合物材料形成。接着,可在有机硅聚合物涂层上沉积环氧树脂涂层,以将底部薄的功能层440粘附至涂层520。可用相似的环氧树脂涂层来涂覆下一绝缘层450的底部表面,随后将该绝缘层置于其在夹具上的适当位置中。可能清楚的是,在一些实施例中,所述夹具可具有在组装装置时使各堆叠层的正确布置相互对齐的功能。接着,可以重复的方式组装插入物的其余部分、限定互连件、并且随后包封插入物。在一些实施例中,随后用有机硅聚合物涂层来从上向下涂覆被包封的插入物。在针对项520使用有机硅聚合物涂层的一些实施例中,可通过所述有机硅聚合物涂层的水合作用而使组装的插入物与夹具510分离。
夹具510可由多种材料形成。在一些实施例中,所述夹具可由在制造标准接触镜片时用于制造模塑件的相似材料形成和制成。此种使用可支持灵活地形成用于不同插入物形状和设计的各种夹具类型。在其他实施例中,所述夹具可由如下材料形成:所述材料自身不会或在具有特殊的涂层时不会粘附至用于将不同的层彼此粘合的化学混合物。可显而易见的是,此种夹具的构型可存在多种选择。
显示为项510的夹具的另一方面是其形状以物理方式支撑位于其上的层。在一些实施例中,各层之间的互连可由打线接合的连接件形成。在打线接合的过程中,对线材施加明显的力以确保其形成良好的结合。在此种结合过程中,各层的结构支撑可为重要的,并可由支撑夹具510来执行。
显示为项510的夹具的又一功能是该夹具上具有对齐结构,所述对齐结构能够使功能化层的各组件不仅相对于彼此线性地对齐,而且沿表面径向地对齐。在一些实施例中,所述夹具可使各功能层的方位角围绕中心点相对于彼此对齐。无论所制造的插入物的最终形状为何,可显而易见的是,组件夹具可适用于确保插入物的各组件为实现其功能和正确的互连而适当地对齐。
继续参见图6,可得出对堆叠层插入物的形状的更一般性讨论。在根据本技术的一般形状的子集中,显示了某些样本性的形状变化。例如,项610显示由基本上圆形层件形成的堆叠插入物的顶视图。在一些实施例中,以交叉影线显示的区域611可为其中移除层材料的环形区域。然而,在其他实施例中,可显而易见的是,用于形成插入物的堆叠层的组件可为不具有环形区域的圆盘。尽管此种非环形插入物形状在眼科应用中的实用性可能受限,然而本文发明技术的实质并非旨在受内部环形物的存在的限制。
在一些实施例中,项620可展示堆叠的功能层插入物的不同实施例。如项621中所示,在一些实施例中,层件可能不仅在堆叠方向上不连续,而且围绕垂直于堆叠方向的方位角方向也不连续。在一些实施例中,可使用半圆形组件来形成插入物。可显而易见的是,在具有环形区域的形状中,局部形状可适用于在层材料形成为具有其功能之后将材料减少需被“切片”或切除的量。
进一步来讲,项630展示了可限定的非辐射状、非椭圆形、以及非圆形插入物形状。如项630中所示,可形成直线形状,或者如项640中所述形成其他多边形形状。在三维透视锥体中,用于形成插入物的各个层件的不同形状可产生圆锥体或其他几何形状。在更一般性的意义上,对于本领域的技术人员可显而易见的是,可将各种各样大量形状成形为形状和产品,以讨论可制造有功能性、通电性、活化性等的形状的更一般性的情况。
结论
如上所述以及以下权利要求书所进一步限定,本发明提供用于堆叠的功能层插入物的器件和方法、用于实施此种方法的装置、以及被形成为包括堆叠层的眼科镜片。
Claims (22)
1.一种堆叠的功能化层装置,包括:
第一薄层基片;
第一粘合剂膜,所述第一粘合剂膜布置在所述第一薄层基片的第一表面上;和
第二薄层基片,所述第二薄层基片被成形为圆环,所述圆环的外半径小于所述第一薄层基片的外半径,其中所述第二薄层基片堆叠在所述第一薄层基片的第一粘合剂膜上,并且所述第一薄层基片和第二薄层基片中的一者包括能量源。
2.根据权利要求1所述的堆叠的功能化层装置,其中:
所述第一薄层基片和第二薄层基片中的另一者包括形成在其上电子电路。
3.根据权利要求2所述的堆叠的功能化层装置,其中:
所述能量源包括电化学通电组件。
4.根据权利要求2所述的堆叠的功能化层装置,还包括基于线材的电源,所述基于线材的电源与所述电子电路电连通。
5.根据权利要求4所述的堆叠的功能化层装置,还包括封装层,所述封装层包含聚对二甲苯。
6.根据权利要求4所述的堆叠的功能化层装置,还包括封装层,所述封装层包含一种或多种金属。
7.根据权利要求6所述的堆叠的功能化层装置,其中所述一种或多种金属包括下列中的一者或二者:铝和钛。
8.根据权利要求1-7中任一项所述堆叠的功能化层装置,还包括有机硅聚合物的封装层。
9.一种眼科镜片,包括:
插入物,所述插入物由堆叠的电功能层组成,其中所述电功能层中的至少一个包括电能源以及所述电功能层中的至少一个被成形为圆环;以及
聚合物镜片形式,所述插入物被嵌入在所述聚合物镜片形式中。
10.根据权利要求9所述的眼科镜片,其中:
所述电能源包括至少一个电化学电池。
11.根据权利要求10所述的眼科镜片,其中:
所述电功能层的至少一个层包括半导体层,所述半导体层具有电子电路,所述电子电路能够控制来自所述至少一个电化学电池的电流流动。
12.根据权利要求11所述的眼科镜片,其中:
所述电子电路电连接到所述眼科镜片内的电活性镜片组件。
13.根据权利要求10所述的眼科镜片,还包括电活性镜片。
14.根据权利要求13所述的眼科镜片,还包括用作天线的金属层。
15.根据权利要求9所述的眼科镜片,其中所述电能源包括电池、电容器和接收器中的至少一者。
16.根据权利要求15所述的眼科镜片,其中所述电能源包括薄膜电池。
17.根据权利要求16所述的眼科镜片,其中所述薄膜电池封装在材料中以防止氧气和水分中的至少一者的进入。
18.根据权利要求17所述的眼科镜片,其中所述电功能层能够在封装材料外部进行电连通。
19.根据权利要求9所述的眼科镜片,还包括线型电池。
20.根据权利要求19所述的眼科镜片,其中所述线型电池提供至少大约1.5伏特的电压容量。
21.根据权利要求20所述的眼科镜片,其中所述线型电池包括涂覆有锌阳极涂层、隔膜涂层和氧化银阴极涂层的导电线。
22.根据权利要求9所述的眼科镜片,还包括将电功能层的表面彼此粘合的粘合剂薄膜。
